The Syrian army repelled Monday the armed terrorist gro

ups in several areas, killed and injured huge numbers of terrorists and destroyed their equipments.

Army units in Latakia targeted several terrorists' gatherings in several villages in the northern countryside. Those included Salma, Dorin, al-Dweirkeh, Khan al-Jouz, al-Kabir, al-Fruluq, al-Khadra and al-Samra.

The operations in those villages resulted in the death of numbers of terrorists and the injury of others, in addition to destroying heavy machine guns mounted on cars, rocket launchers and rocket launch pads.

Non-Syrians were among the dead terrorists.

Army units confronted an armed terrorist groups which tried to attack the southern-western part of Kherbet Ghazaleh village in Daraa countryside from al-Ghariyeh al-Gharbiyeh village, inflicting heavy losses upon them.

A military source told SANA that army units foiled an armed terrorist group's infiltration attempt towards Jadal town and destroyed a number of cars with all weapons inside them. Terrorists were also killed in the operation.

The army units also killed and injured all members of an armed terrorist group in Housh al-Sharid in Allajat area, the source added.

Army units targeted terrorists' gatherings in al-Taybeh, Saida and Etman, killing and injuring a number of terrorists.

A unit of the armed forces killed all members of an armed terrorist group in Tal al-Zaatar in the southwestern side of al-Zaidi valley in the countryside. A number of the terrorists' vehicles were destroyed in the operation.

Army units foiled an armed terrorist group's attempt to attack safe areas in al-Rashedeen, al-Ameria, al-Lairamoun and al-Zahraa Association in Aleppo, inflicting direct loses upon terrorists.

According to a military source, the army units eliminated terrorists' gatherings and destroyed a number of their vehicles in Deir Hafer, Erbid, the industrial city in Sheikh Najjar, Handrat, al-Jubailah, al-Lairamoun, Kafr Hamra, Maaret al-Artik, B'aedin, Bianon, al-Rashedeen and Bani Zaid.
