Syrians Committed to Support Presidential Elections, Army, National Principles

Activities in support of the presidential elections .and national principles continued Tuesday across Syria.

Branch of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party Held a massive festival in support of presidential elections process and national stances in al-Shaghour neighborhood in Damascus.

The participants said that the neighborhood stood against the conspiracy to which the country is exposed.

They added that citizens of Damascus neighborhoods gathered to support the candidacy of Dr. Bashar al-Assad for the presidency post.

The participants condemned the so-called "external opposition" who called on the western countries to attack Syria, hailing the role of the Syrian Arab Army in defending the country.

Party and union representatives held a festival at al-Jalaa Sport City in Damascus to express support to the upcoming presidential elections and the Syrian Army.

Some of the participants, who included workers and citizens, delivered speeches in which they said that participating in the upcoming elections is a duty and a right alike for every citizen who believes in the unity and sovereignty of his country.

The workers stressed that they support the candidate Dr. Bashar al-Assad as he embodies their stances and speaks to their aspirations, adding that the workers have proved, during the crisis, their patriotic and honest adherence to the homeland.

The participants called upon all citizens to continue the march of thousands of years of civilization and human heritage through participating in elections that will contribute to the building of the country's future.

Members of the Syrian Journalists and Writers Unions and Artists Syndicate staged a stand before the Journalists Union Headquarters in Damascus to show support to the presidential elections and the candidate for the presidency post Dr. Bashar al-Assad.

The Journalists Union, Writers Guild, and Artists Guild organized a gathering in front of the Journalist Union HQ in Damascus to voice support for the upcoming presidential elections and candidate Dr. Bashar al-Assad.

Participants, carrying Syrian flags, pictures of Dr. al-Assad, and placards calling for national unity and supporting the army.

Head of the Writers Guild Hussein Juma’a said that elections is an event that symbolizes preserving the country, and that the people’s support for Dr. al-Assad sends a message of defiance to those who conspired against Syria.

For her part, head of the Artists Guild Fadia Khattab said that voting in the elections is a national duty, and that supporting Dr. al-Assad means supporting Syria’s security, peace, and stability.

In turn, head of the Journalists Guild Elias Murad said that media instigation against Syria isn’t a new thing, as it has always faced it due to its commitment to the causes of the region.

The three organizations issued a statement on this occasion, saying that the conspiracy against Syria targets President Bashar al-Assad and his work to realize Syria’s interests, underlining the democratic strides made recently.

The statement that voting for Dr. al-Assad in the elections will mean that journalism, media, literature, and arts will flourish further and their freedom will be bolstered.

A crowd of popular, unionist, civil and religious figures gathered in al-Seryan Square in the city of Qatana in Damascus Countryside.

The participants stressed that holding the presidential elections will deal a blow to the terrorist groups and their backers.

The elections is a victory to be added to the daily achievements made by the Syrian army in the battlefield, they said, affirming that only the Syrian people are entitled to determine their future.

Thousands of citizens flooded al-Shammas neighborhood in Homs to voice their support to candidate Bashar al-Assad and the Syrian Arab Army.

The populace, waving Syrian flags and holding placards, stressed their allegiance to homeland and adherence to national unity, highlighting their staunch support to the army in the face of terrorism.

They said the presidential elections hold out the prospect of better future and more persistence to fight terrorism and carry out reconstruction work, adding that the Syrians are the only side to determine the future of their country.

Citizens of al-Shammas neighborhood in the city of Homs staged a huge gathering to show support to the presidential election and to the candidate for the presidency post Dr. Bashar al-Assad.

A solidarity stand in Ekrimah neighborhood in the city to show support to the presidential elections and the national principles.

The families of the martyrs were also honored during the stand.

Farmers of Daraa staged a stand in solidarity with the army in its battle against terrorism, voicing support to the upcoming presidential elections.

The participants, holding Syrian flags, reiterated their support to the leadership and army, stressing that the presidential elections are a devotion of democracy.

Branches of the National Union of Syrian Students and Revolutionary Youth Union in Sweida organized a march to express support to the upcoming presidential elections.

The participants stressed that the upcoming elections are a landmark democratic experience in Syria's modern history, calling all Syrians to participate in the voting.

They stressed that candidate Dr. Bashar al-Assad has managed, through his courage and wisdom, to face the fiercest aggression waged against Syria and is now leading the homeland to security and stability.

National activities in support of presidential election process in Homs countryside

A number of popular and civil activities held solidarity stands in the villages of Homs countryside in support of presidential elections process, national stances and Syrian Arab Army.

Hundred of citizens of the towns of al-Sukhneh, Khnafeis gathered in al-Mshrfeh square in the eastern countryside of Homs to express their support of presidential elections process, national stances and Syrian Arab Army.

The participants raised national flags, chanting slogans that glorify the sacrifices of the Syria Arab Army in defending the country against terrorism and to support candidate for presidency Dr. Bashar al-Assad.

Workers of Tartous cement and Electricity generation companies support presidential election process

Workers of Tartous cement and Electricity generation companies organized two solidarity stands in support of presidential election process, national stances and Army in its war against terrorism.

The participants raised national flags and placards expressing their full support to candidate for presidential elections Dr. Bashar al-Assad and to the Syrian Arab Army in confronting terrorism to which the country is exposed.

They stressed that holding the presidential election process after three years of the crisis in Syria is considered as victory to the Syrians alongside victories that achieved by the Syrian Arab Army.

The Hasaka branch of the Farmers Union organized a gathering to express full support for the presidential elections, saying that holding them in a democratic, transparent atmosphere is the best message Syria can give to the world, calling on all the people of Hasaka province to vote in the elections.

In the same context, the Hasaka branch of al-Baath Vanguards organized an event to express support for the Syrian Arab Army and the homeland, presenting artistic performances by children.

In Hama, workers of the Water Resources Department and the General Company for Oils staged two solidarity stands to show support to the presidential elections and the national principles.

Two oratorical festivals were also held in the Nursing school and Hama cement company.

Official, popular and labor figures took part in the stands.

Speeches were delivered in which the speakers expressed unwavering adherence to the national principles and strong support to holding the presidential elections on time.

In Tartous, two solidarity stands were staged in front of Tartous Cement Factory and Banias electricity generation station in support of the national principles and the presidential elections.

The participants voiced support to the candidate for the presidency post Dr. Bashar al-Assad.
