Kerry-ZarifIranian and US delegations to Vienna ended one-and-a-half hours of negotiations co-chaired by Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and US Secretary of State John Kerry. They will proceed with negotiations two hours break. The talks are focused on narrowing the gaps on drafting a comprehensive deal which is likely to put an end to a 12-year old dispute over Tehran's nuclear program. US Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz is also present in this round of talks. Zarif arrived in Vienna on Saturday morning after Kerry who had arrived in the Austrian capital on Friday night. The two foreign ministers had previously held two rounds of talks in New York and Geneva to narrow the gap on wording of the context of the nuclear deal. Foreign Ministry Deputies Abbas Araqchi and Majid Takht-e Ravanchi have also been in Vienna since last Wednesday to hold the eighth round of nuclear talks with their EU and US counterparts on drafting of the final deal. Araqchi says the two sides have made some progress but many important issues remained unsolved that need to be worked out by foreign ministers. Iran and the six world powers – the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Russia and China – have set June 30 as their deadline to clinch a comprehensive nuclear deal.
