More on the Murder of Dania Arsheid

[ Ed. note – As the world goes on mourning the victims of the Paris terror attack–holding candlelight vigils, carrying Eiffel Tower peace sign images, etc.–a little bit more information has surfaced on the brutal murder of 17-year-old Dania Arsheid.

Dania was a Palestinian school girl who was shot by Israeli forces at a checkpoint in Hebron on October 25. She was a student at the Al-Rayyan girls high school and was killed while walking home from school. There were no events held in her memory on the Boston Common and no Palestinian flags flying at the Sydney Opera House. But she was a human being nonetheless. Just to put things into perspective, the recent attack in Paris killed 129 people. Tragic as that is, it’s less than 9 percent of the total civilians killed in Gaza in the summer of 2014, and only 1/4 of the number of children alone who died during the same period. ]
