ISIL Takfiri group put on “wanted list” a Kuwaiti judge who sentenced to death a group of seven suspects over role in terrorist bombing that killed dozens at al-Imam Sadeq Mosque last year.
Arabic version of Russia Today website cited Kuwaiti media as saying that the Takfiri group issued a statement on internet showing the image of the Judge.
“He issued death sentences and jail terms to our sisters of Nassar family and their relatives,” the statement which was entitled “wanted” said on the Kuwaiti judge.
Along with the judge’s photo the statement included an image of a pistol, Kuwaiti media reported.
Earlier in September, a Kuwaiti court sentenced seven people to death over the bombing which took place in June 2015.
Another eight defendants received prison terms ranging from two to 15 years, while 14 others were acquitted by Judge Mohammad Al-Duaij in his verdict, the state-run KUNA news agency reported.
In May, Kuwait’s Supreme Court upheld the death sentence handed down to the main convict in the terrorist attack.
