GAZA, (PIC)-- MP Dr. Salah Al-Bardawil, the spokesman of the Hamas parliamentary bloc, has said that his Movement was carefully studying the initiative tabled by the popular front for the liberation of Palestine (PFLP) regarding national reconciliation.
Bardawil said on Monday that Hamas welcomed any true effort aimed at patching up the inter-Palestinian division and restoring cohesion to the Palestinian political structure on the basis of Palestinian constants.
He said that Palestinians should unite in face of the Zionist arrogance especially at the current particular critical stage of the Palestine cause after those who were calling for peaceful settlements admitted failure of the settlement process with the "enemy".
The PFLP initiative called for signing the Egyptian paper on national reconciliation while granting each faction the chance to table its remarks where all factions would be invited for a two-day dialog to settle differences.
