GAZA, (PIC)-- Newly released ex-detainee Younis Hussein on Sunday called on the Palestinian resistance factions to kidnap more Israeli soldiers in order to ensure the release of all Palestinian detainees in Israeli jails, adding it is the most effective way to close the file of prisoners.
During a news conference organized by the Wa’ed society for detainees, Hussein stressed that the prisoners are waiting impatiently for an honorable swap deal that breaks Israel’s standards of releasing Palestinians in its jails.
The ex-detainee pointed out that Gaza prisoners are experiencing hard incarceration conditions, deprived from visits and suppressed every night, adding that many patients in Israeli jails do not have access to appropriate medical treatment.
For his part, spokesman for the society Abdullah Qandil hailed the steadfastness and fortitude of Hussein, saying the prisoner spent 22 years of his life inside many Israeli jails during which he tasted different hardships and kinds of suffering especially since he was wounded when kidnapped from Al-Shifa hospital.
The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) released Sunday Younis Hussein from Nafha prison and transported him to Erez crossing and from there he headed to his home in the central Gaza Strip.
In another related context, the IOA extended the administrative detention of Sheikh Khaled Al-Haj and Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Jabr, prominent Hamas figures in Jenin.
The IOA extended the administrative detention of Haj and Jabr for four months after they were about to be released. Both of them already spent years in Israeli prisons.
