Israeli spies in Lebanon continue to collapse one after another…

In the latest developments in this context, a well-informed source told Al-Manar on Friday that the Lebanese army intelligence directorate has arrested two espionage networks serving the Zionist enemy, one in the north and the other in the south.

According to the source, the army intelligence has arrested, following monitoring and control operations, a spy network in the south comprising two Internal Security Force (ISF) retired officers (Hamad S. and Mahmoud W.). The army confiscated communication devices with the Israeli enemy belonging to both men.

The network of the north, in turn, includes Jawdat K. who's classified as "very important" and Semaan S.

The source said that investigations are ongoing with the members of both networks to discover details about their relation with the Israeli Mossad and the nature of the information they have provided the Israelis with.

The source pointed out that the Lebanese army intelligence is currently pursuing other members involved with spying for the Israeli enemy and its intelligence services.

On Thursday, a force from the army intelligence arrested a man, called H.S. from the southern town of Mari in Hasbaya and took him to the headquarters of the army intelligence in Yarze to investigate with him over the charge of spying to the Israeli enemy.

The arrested man is in his fifties. He's a retired policeman who has worked for a while as a responsible of a political party in the area before resigning a few months ago.
