IOA to demolish two Palestinian homes in WB village

[ 20/03/2010 - 03:50 PM ]

BETHLEHEM, (PIC)-- The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) decided to demolish two Palestinian homes in the village of walaja, east of Bethlehem, at the pretext that they were located in the path of the separation wall.

Local sources said that Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrived in the village on Saturday and glued two notices on the walls of the two homes with one of them granting the landlord only 72 hours to demolish his house.

The popular campaign against the wall in the village issued a statement denouncing the move, describing the IOF campaign against Palestinians as "rabid".

It called for more cohesion and unity of national lines in order to resist the IOA arrogance, and championed more solidarity rallies to expose the IOA crimes.

Meanwhile, IOF troops at dawn Saturday rounded up five Palestinian citizens in Al-Khalil district, four in Beit Awa village including a 55-year-old man, and a 14-year-old boy in Fawar refugee camp.
