PFLP: Netanyahu's speech a challenge to Arabs and the world
[ 12/10/2010 - 09:50 AM ]
RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) has described the Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu's speech at the "Knesset" on Monday as an insult and a challenge to the Arab summit and the world community.
The PFLP said in a statement on Monday that Netanyahu's call on Palestinians to recognize the Jewish nature of Israel in return for a partial settlement freeze exemplified disdain of the international and humanitarian law.
Netanyahu's proposal was in contempt of the Palestinian and Arab champions of negotiations in addition to being an absolute denial of the Palestinian people's right of independence, self-determination, and right of return, the front elaborated.
It urged the Arab leaders to take lessons from the results of the so-called peace process and negotiations and to stand up to the Israeli arrogance, rudeness, and criminals plots.
