WEST BANK, (PIC)-- A number of Palestinian citizens, who were summoned by security militias from the Palestinian authority (PA) lately, said they were questioned about their participation in national events calling on Hamas and Fatah factions to end the internal rift.
The citizens told the Palestinian information center (PIC) on condition of anonymity on Thursday that the interrogators asked them about who instructed them to take part in these events and marches.
They were also questioned about why they partook in these events and the slogans they chanted during them.
One of the citizens replied to a PA interrogator who asked about the possibility of achieving the national reconciliation that this would be impossible as long as the prisons of Jericho, Juneid and Al-Daheriya are full with Hamas members.
