GAZA, (PIC)-- The "charitable safety society" has handed a number of electric wheelchairs to Palestinians in Gaza who were wounded in the Israeli war on the Strip.
The society's board chairman Dr. Atef Ismail said in a ceremony organized on the occasion on Sunday that the number of the disabled in Gaza was increasing with each Israeli attack.
Ismail asked the human rights groups to expose the Israeli occupation authority's (IOA) practices and its use of internationally banned weapons in its aggression on the Palestinians.
He pointed out that the society detects new and strange injures with each IOA aggression as a result of the use of new and advanced weapons in those attacks.
The injured Palestinians are in need of assistance on the part of government and private institutions in addition to the donor parties, he added.
