OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- The Israeli Peace Now movement concerned with human rights has revealed the acceleration of construction in Israeli settlements in the West Bank despite the decision to freeze building in them for ten months.

It said in a report on Wednesday that Israel had endorsed the construction of 84 new housing units in the West Bank at the pretext that they were ratified before the freeze decision.

Peace Now said that the rate of construction in the West Bank was far more than any other area in Palestine occupied in 1948, noting that 1,150 housing units are being built for each 100,000 settlers in the West Bank while 836,000 units are being built in all areas of 1948 land.

I don't understand how to react to this situation becuase on one side the Israeli's are freezing their construction at the West Bank and on the other hand they are giving approval to new project at the same location. It is now hard to belive on Israeli's on any circumstances.

Thanks,
