OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) deported three Swedish solidarity activists from Jerusalem only after a week from arriving there and banned their entry into Israel and the West Bank until further notice.

A statement by the Swedish organization "Youth for Palestine" on Saturday said that a team of solidarity activists was held by the IOA police in Jerusalem and interrogated.

It added that the IOA charged the team members with anti-Semitism and supporting what they called "Palestinian terrorism".

The statement said that the IOA took the activists to the Ben Gurion airport and searched and held them for seven hours under inhuman conditions then deported them.

The Swedish organization denounced the decision to expel its members, describing it as part of the IOA attempt to block the international solidarity movement's role and message.
