Palestinian government: UN did not even read our report on Israel's war crimes

GAZA, (PIC)-- The Palestinian government in Gaza said that the UN neglected the investigations it conducted into war crimes that happened during Israel's war on the Strip in the winter of 2008.

This came in response to the UN probe committee which falsely accused Hamas Movement of failing to conduct serious and credible investigations about Gaza war.

Palestinian minister of justice Faraj Al-Ghoul told the Palestinian information center (PIC) that the UN investigation panel did not even open the report handed to it by the government in Gaza.

"It only opened the report of Abbas's authority and neglected the investigations we carried out," Ghoul added.

"This accusation and neglect indicate that the UN is insistent on equalizing between the executioner and the victim," he stressed.

The government also denounced in its statement the UN secretary-general Ban Ki-moon for ignoring its report on Gaza war that it handed to his probe mission, asserting that the UN's failure to publish the report means that it is biased in favor of the Israeli occupation at the expense of the Palestinian war victims.

The government called on the UN to stop its deliberate neglect of what came in Goldstone report and held it fully responsible for Israel's persistence in its crimes against the Palestinian people as a result of its bias.
