Groups and organizations are holding gatherings to stress on the importance of the national unity in providing their country with a better future, and in facing all types of foreign interference.

Thousands of Syrian citizens gathered in al-Hijaz Square to express support to President Bashar al-Assad's reform program, and to voice their commitment to national unity and rejection of the foreign interference in their country's affairs.

The participants in the rally affirmed their stance by the Syrian army and security forces against the terrorist movements sweeping across the country, further rejecting all incitement campaigns and propagandas that aim at undermining Syria's national unity and stability.

Furthermore, a protest organized by the youth was held in Bab Sharqi, where participants said their rally came in the "framework of popular activities to stress on the Syrian people's unity despite their different belongings", and as an act to foil all attempt to destabilize their country. The Syrian protesters stated that their love to the homeland brought them all together under the leadership of President al-Assad.

On another hand, Lattakia also witnessed a gathering on Tuesday organized by the "Pulse of Syria's Youth" group. The gathering included a group of public debate activities regarding the recent events experienced by Syria.

Participants in the gathering, among which were academic, jurist and social figures, stressed on the need to confront all attacks launched by Arab and International forces by means of solidarity to face this conspiracy.

Moreover, the Lattakia demonstrators called for speeding up the reform operations on the social and economic levels, reaffirming their confidence that their country will emerge from the crisis.

The "Pulse of Syria's Youth" gathering organizer affirmed that the gathering will continue until July 18, where they aim at discussing various vital issues that have impact on their daily lives, especially in what's related to the reform program launched in the country.

On a different level, the "National Unity Convoy" organized a visit for a delegation of popular figures from Tartous to the Martyrs Cemetery of Besnada in Lattakia.
