LONDON, (PIC)-- The third “Viva Palestine” convoy to the besieged Gaza Strip led by British MP George Galloway set off Sunday from London and is gathering more participants and humanitarian aid as it passes through European countries.

This convoy is considered the biggest international gathering after the participation of huge numbers of multinational supporters from Europe, America, Malaysia and many other countries and is expected to enter Gaza on the first anniversary of the Israeli brutal war.

The convoy will garner the attention of the entire world as it makes its way through 11 countries to deliver humanitarian aid to the besieged people of Gaza.

Palestinian activist Zahir Al-Berawi told the Palestinian information center (PIC) today that the convoy is initially composed of 80 vehicles loaded with humanitarian aid and will be heading first towards France and some European countries before stopping in Turkey, where popular and official receptions will be held.

Berawi added that the convoy will be then heading towards Syria and then to Jordan, where the convoy including the participants will be transported by sea to the port of Nuweiba in Egypt and from there the convoy will follow its journey overland to the Rafah crossing.

He noted that the convoy includes 15 ambulances dedicated to the memories of medical crews killed during the Israeli war on Gaza.
