[ 31/05/2010 - 03:44 PM ]
NAZARETH, (PIC)-- The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) were put on full alert on the borders with Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza in anticipation of any retaliation to the IOF bloody hijacking of the Freedom Flotilla earlier on Monday.
Hebrew daily Ha'aretz said on its website that the IOF command announced full alert in anticipation of any development.
Israeli security apparatuses announced full alert in occupied Jerusalem and the West Bank in addition to Palestinian areas in 1948 occupied Palestine after news of the serious injury of the popular Sheikh Raed Salah, the leader of the Islamic movement in 1948 occupied Palestine, was circulated.
Sheikh Kamal Al-Khatib, the deputy leader of the Islamic movement, held the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) fully responsible for the life of Sheikh Salah.
He said that the IOA blackout on the condition of Sheikh Salah was "ominous".
Israeli sources said that Sheikh Salah was wounded with IOF bullets during the storming of the Freedom Flotilla, describing his wounds as serious.
