Mishaal: Family before politics

DAMASCUS, (PIC)-- “One of the greatest mistakes is that we sink in politics and think that politics alone are the field that brings us to achieving our goals and we forget the home. The first step of politics, and resistance is to begin them with the society and families,” said Hamas politburo chief Khaled Mishaal at a mass wedding ceremony for more than 1,400 couples held by Hamas in the Syrian capital of Damascus on Friday night.

"The (Zionist) entity today is afraid of the rising generation of Palestinians, and is afraid of our people in Gaza, the West Bank, and ’48 occupied Palestine,” Mishaal said.

Israel is conspiring against the right of return for Palestinian refugees and conspiring against Palestinians in the 1948 occupied land in its talk about a "Jewish state", he said, adding that Israel is “fed up with this people who never breaks or surrenders, and whenever a generation grows and a generation goes, another generation comes to carry the banner and walk along the same path,” the Hamas leader added.

“We have a will to live, and we don’t fear death as life for a moment is valor, and death is the moment to meet with Allah,” he went on to say.

“Our society is a blessing from Allah, so I advise Palestinian families to turn to our children. The greatest effort should be in educating your sons and daughters, and the greatest investment in building society is your investment in your sons and daughters.”
