Al-Manar reporter in Vienna said that French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius arrived in the Austrian capital on Saturday morning for nuclear talks.
Fabius arrived in the Palais Coburg Hotel, where the nuclear talks are being held, Ahmad al-Hajj Ali reported on Saturday.
The reporter said that German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier held meeting with his US counterpart, John Kerry.
Al-Hajj Ali also said that both Russian FM Sergei Lavrov , and British FM Philip Hammond are expected to arrive in Vienna late on Saturday, noting that such moves could have positive indications concerning reaching a final deal over Iran nuclear program.
Earlier on Friday, officials said they would continue the talks over the weekend, with US Secretary of State, Kerry, said some outstanding issues were resolved.
“I think we have resolved some of the things that were outstanding and we’ve made some progress,” Kerry said Friday, in an apparent shift in tone from a more pessimistic assessment a day earlier.
Iran and the P5+1 countries - the United States, Britain, France, Russia, China and Germany - have been engaged in crucial talks in the Austrian capital, Vienna, towards reaching a landmark agreement over Tehran’s nuclear energy program.
The negotiating sides missed an initial deadline of June 30 and all parties agreed on a new July 7 deadline. Now it seems that negotiations will continue at least until Monday.
On April 2, Iran and the P5+1 group reached a mutual understanding on Tehran’s nuclear program after eight days of marathon talks in the Swiss city of Lausanne.
