GAZA, (PIC)-- The health status of prisoner Haitham Salhiya has deteriorated very badly and reached a serious level after a Shin Bet undercover agent three months ago spiked his drink in jail.

The drug which was used by this Israeli agent to spike Salhiya's drink was a pill used to destroy the human immunity system gradually.

For its part, the Palestinian ministry of prisoners' affairs appealed to the international medical organizations, especially the world health organization to necessarily send a medical team to check the health condition of prisoner Salhiya.

Spokesman for the ministry Riyadh Al-Ashqar stated that Salhiya did not receive any appropriate medical treatment after his exposure to an attempted assassination in jail by the Shin Bet.

Ashqar noted that some symptoms started to appear on the prisoner's body lately such as the emergence of big abscesses that bleed sometimes in his back in addition to tubers in his neck, which made it hard for him to speak.

He expressed his belief that the pill that was put in Salhiya drink months ago caused these serious tumors in his body.
