Admitting the failure in Syria, US President Donald Trump appeared to change course by saying that he would not intervene in any Iranian activity in the country once American troops have left.
“They can do what they want there, frankly,” Trump said of Iran’s presence in Syria.
Trump’s statement comes a day after the apartheid entity Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
“We don’t want Syria. Obama gave up Syria years ago when he didn’t violate the red line. I did when I shot 59 missiles but that was a long time later. And when President Obama decided not to violate his statement that never cross the red line and then they did and he didn’t do anything about it.”
Asked about the timeline of the US withdrawal from Syria, he refused to give a direct answer.
“I don’t know, somebody said four months but I didn’t say that either,” Trump said. “We want to protect the Kurds but I don’t want to be in Syria forever. It’s sand and it’s death.”

ترامب صادق مع نفسه على الأقلّ

لم يقل الرئيس الأميركي شيئاً جديداً أمام فريقه الحكومي يوم أمس الأول ، ومع ذلك ما قاله يؤكد صراحة الرجل وصدقيته مع نفسه حيال سحب قواته من سورية ولم يحدّد موعده.
الرجل قال صراحة: «ليس في سورية ثروات بل رمال وموت، وبقاؤنا هناك ليس له مردود ولا مبرّر، فلماذا نعرّض جنودنا للموت دون ان نجني شيئاً؟»
هذه الصراحة للرئيس الأميركي لا نضعها برسم عربان أميركا لأنهم ليسوا أكثر من أدوات يتوسّلون الحماية الأميركية لعروشهم ومشيخاتهم، وهذا ما أكده الرئيس الأميركي أكثر من مرة أنّ أميركا لن تحمي دولاً ببلاش حتى ولو من ضمن محورها الأميركي الصهيوني.
هذه الصراحة نضعها برسم شعوبنا العربية الساكتة الساكنة، ولعلّ بعضها يبارك هذا الغطاء الأميركي الصهيوني لاعتبارات يعرفها أصحابها ونحن لا نفهمها إلا كمرحلة من مراحل التمحيص التي يُميّز فيها الخبيث من الطيب على مستوى العقيدة.
أما أولئك الذين يستجدون حماية الصهاينة بتعهّد أميركي ويبذلون من أجلها ثروات الأمة، ولو بُذل ثلثها على الشعوب العربية بشكل مدارس وجامعات ومستشفيات وحضانة ورعاية، لما بقي في بلادنا محتاج ولا فقير ولا معدم.
متى تستيقظ هذه الشعوب من غفلتها وتُعدّ لأعدائها ما استطاعت من قوة؟ وبعد ذلك تتكل على الله…
