Peres: Israel is doomed as ‘Jewish state’ - Netanyahu: No solution without recognizing Israel as a Jewish state

Whoever accepts the basic principle of the 1967 lines will receive international support from the world. Whoever rejects it will lose the world,” Shimon Peres told a group of people who visited him, reported Israeli daily Ha’aretz on June 17, 2011.
I’m concerned about the continued freeze in the peace talks. I’m concerned that Israel will become a binational state. What is happening now is total foot-dragging. We’re about to crash into the wall. We’re galloping at full speed toward a situation where Israel will cease to exist as a Jewish state, Peres added.

Shimon Peres has finally realized the fact that world-wide de-legitimizing Israel campaign is gaining momentum each day. However, Peres, like million of his fellow Zionists, still believe that Israel is Jewish state.

Interestingly, it was Zionist President Harry Truman who crossed the word ‘Jewish’ from the name of Israel submitted to him by David Ben Gurion’s Zionist entity on May 14, 1948 (see photo of the document).

The Zionists’ biblical narrative ‘God promised Holy Land to Jews’ – has been challenged by modern scholars on the accuracy of biblical account on a number of grounds, concluding that it must be regarded largely as theology and tradition rather than genuine history. These scholars seriously dispute whether Moses, David and Solomon established an extensive Jewish kingdom, ruled from Jerusalem, over most of Palestine.

The Zionist entity has no written Constitution and its legal system is driven from racist Talmudic teaching. Many activities which are prohibited by Moses law, such as, sex slavery, abortion, homosexuality, divorce, etc. – are legalized in Israel. Furthermore, Moses law calls for death penality, stoning, polygamy, etc. are illegal in Israel.

Netanyahu: No solution without recognizing Israel as a Jewish state

[ 18/06/2011 - 10:37 AM ]
OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reiterated that the Israeli-Arab conflict would remain until the Palestinians recognize Israel as a state for the Jews.

He said that Israel would not fight over “a few kilometers of land”, but that what was important is that the Palestinians recognize Israel as a Jewish state.

He added, in a statement to Israel’s Haaretz newspaper, that as long as Abbas didn’t recognize Israel there would be no way to reach an agreement.

Tzipi Livni, who heads the opposition party in Israel, attacked Netanyahu during a Knesset session saying that he has buried any chance for peace or normal coexistence in the Mideast

Israel: ‘Beirut got Hizbullah-dominated regime’

Posted on |

Last week, the US, British and Canadian Zionist-dominated mainstream press plus hundreds of Israel hasbara internet websites had headline “Lebanon got Hezbollah dominated government”. I was so excited by the good news and wanted to find out how many Hizbullah ministers were in the billionaire Prime Minister Najib Miqati’s new 30-member cabinet. To my great disappointment, I found only three – two Shias (Mohammad Fneish and Hussein Hajj Hassan) ministers from the former US-Israel puppet Sa’ad Hariri’s cabinet and one new Sunni Faisal Karami. Speaker Nabih Berri’s Shia Amal party has two Shia members, Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour and Public Health Ali Hassan Khalil. The Minister of State Ali Qanso (Shia) is member of Syrian Social Nationalist Party.
This ’3-out of-30 domination’ would give you an idea how the Zionist-crowd came up with
the figure of ‘Six Million’ Jews died under Nazi regime.

Christian communities which make less than 35% of Lebanon’s total popuation – hold 13 cabinet posts plus Deputy Prime Minister Samir Moqbel (Orthodox). Sunnis have six cabinet posts and Druze have three cabinet ministers.

There are 300,000 Palestinian refugees living in Lebanon who are not citizen and thus cannot vote. Christian political parties are against awarding them citizenship due to their (Muslim) dempgraphic fear.

It took Najib Miqati nearly five months to hammer-out the new government mainly due to internal power struggle between the two Christian heavy-weights, President Gen. Michel Suleiman and former General Michel Aoun, who wanted to be President a few years ago.

Dr. Stephan Rosiny of the GIGA Institute of Middle East Studies in Hamburg (Germany), in an interview with The Voice of Russia said that Hizbullah has debunked Sunni Arab fear and foreign propaganda lies about its dominaton of the new government: “So, now we have five Shia ministers and seven Sunni ministers which is not a fair distribution. If you would take the actual demographic size of the community, the Shia should have even more ministers than the Sunni because they are the biggest community now in Lebanon,” said Rosiny.

“There is also another misperception that Najib Mikati, the new prime minister, is just a tool of Hezbollah, but this is not the case. Najib Mikati is an independent politician, and he is quite strong in his community and in Lebanon and also has a good reputation in Syria and in Saudi Arabia; he made clear that he would not just follow the rules of Hezbollah,” added Rosiny.

Personally, I believe, US-Israel-Saudia STL card is not going to harm the relation between Hizbullah and the new government as the later knows for fact that the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri was work of Israeli Mossad and Hizbullah is being framed by anti-Lebanese forces to occupy country’s water and oil reserves for Israel. Furthermore, Lebanese public knows from their past experience that it was Hizbullah fighters who defended Lebanon’s borders against powerful Jewish Army and not the Lebanon’s Army.

Taliban Kill Nine in Kabul Police Station Attack

Nine people were killed Saturday when three attackers armed with suicide vests and machine-guns stormed a police station in the heart of the Afghan capital Kabul.

The militants got into a compound housing the police station in the crowded main central market area, near the Afghan presidential palace, defense ministry and other official buildings.

Five civilians were among the dead along with three policemen and one officer from Afghanistan's intelligence agency, interior ministry spokesman Najib Nikzad said. Ten civilians and two police were wounded.

The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack, the latest embarrassing breach at a supposedly secure location in Kabul, which comes weeks before limited foreign troop withdrawals are due to start from Afghanistan.

One of the attackers detonated his explosives at the entrance to the compound, allowing his two accomplices into the building, the interior ministry said.

Once inside, they fired at police, sparking a gun battle which lasted for around two hours before the pair were killed. "Three suicide attackers with weapons and explosive vests attacked the police station," Nikzad said. "One of them detonated himself in front of the gate of the station and two others were killed following a firefight with police".

"In this incident, three policemen, one intelligence officer and five civilians were killed and two police, along with 10 other civilians were wounded." he added.

Families of political prisoners in PA jails protest in al-Khalil

[ 17/06/2011 - 06:57 PM ]
AL-KHALIL, (PIC)-- Families of political prisoners in PA jails on Thursday afternoon held a sit in in the southern West Bank city of al-Khalil at the city centre.
A large number of protesters participated in the protest and said they are determined to continue with their protests until all their relatives are released from PA jails.
Father of Mu’tasem al-Natshe said in a speech he made at the sit in said that protests will continue until the file of political detention is closed so that the Palestinian people can face up to the real dangers which threaten its major issues such as Jerusalem.
Dozens of children took part in the protest where protesters held pictures of the detainees as well as placards calling for an end to political detention and called for reinstatement of employees who lost their jobs because of their political affiliations and not to link solving these issues with forming a unity government.

5 US Occupation Soldiers Killed in Iraq

Local Editor
Five US occupation soldiers were killed in central Iraq on Monday, taking the death toll of soldiers killed in the war-torn country since the 2003 US-led invasion to 4,459.

"Five US service members were killed Monday in central Iraq," a US army statement said, without giving further details.
An Iraqi interior ministry official and an Iraqi police officer said five rockets struck the sprawling Camp Victory base which surrounds Baghdad's international airport in the outskirts of the city, but more information was not immediately available.
Both Iraqi officials said that the bodies of two apparent attackers were found outside the US base, badly burned from two rockets which exploded inside their vehicle.

Monday's deaths bring the total number of US occupation soldiers killed in Iraq to 4,459, according to a tally based on independent website Iraq Coalition Casualty Count.

Monday's attack killed the highest number of US service personnel in a single day since May 11, 2009, when a US soldier opened fire on five of his colleagues on a base just outside Baghdad. That solider was later arrested and charged with the killings.

The same slogan, but not the same revolution

Israel woos China on Iran

After humiliating Barack Obama during his visit to Washington last month – Benji Netanyahu has decided to sell American military technology to China.

Last week, Israeli defense minister/deputy prime minister, Ehud Barack visited Beijing to put a wedge between Iran-China relation. In his talk with his Chinese counterpart, Barak tried to scare Chinese leader of Iran’s nuclear threat. He also discussed the expected PA’s resolution for an independent Palestinian state based on 1967 borders at United Nations General Assembly in September 2011.
Barak offered to sell China American military technology as a ‘sweetner’. China has shown its willingness to accept Barak’s offer as long as there are no strings attached to China-Iran relations. In the past, the Zionist regime was forced by Washington to cancel its sale of US-made advanced Phalcon spy planes to China in 2000 and of spare parts for US-Israeli-built Harpy drones in 2005. However, China has remained one of Israel’s main trading partner with an average $7 billion annual trade.
Jewish drug dealers such as Persian David Sassoon (died 1864) build the Zionist-Chinese connection. Japanese created Jewish settlements in their Chinese colonies, during the period of 1934-45. The settlements in Harbin (Manchuria) were envisaged as an ‘Israel in Asia’ . The Harbin-Israel connection can also be found in the family of former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. Olmert’s parents and grandparents reached Harbin from Samara, European Russia, at the time of the Bolshevik Revolution. In the summer of 2004, when he was Israel’s vice premier and trade minister, Ehud Olmert “returned” to China with a delegation of Israeli businessmen. He and his brother, an agricultural attaché at the Israeli embassy in Beijing, were much photographed reciting the Jewish prayer for the dead at their grandfather’s tomb.
The Israelis and their western Zionist poodles are desperate to persuade China that Islamic Republic is becoming an increasing danger to the Middle East and further afield – well, mostly Israel. However, China has huge interests in Iranian oil and gas resources. In 2010, China reportedly invested $40 billion in Iran.
Both China and Russia need friendly relations with Tehran to keep it isolated from Muslim-majority states under their occupation. The last thing the rulers in Beijing and Moscow want – is Tehran supporting Muslim resistance groups in East Turkistan and Chechnya fighting against Chinese and Russian occupation.

Freedom Flotilla II sets sail for Gaza

Illustration: Carlos Latuff

The Palestinian message on the ground is clear, but no one’s listening. They won’t accept surrender for peace. They want nothing less than freedom and justice in their own unoccupied land.

By Debbie Menon / My Catbird Seat

The aid flotilla is being organized by a coalition of pro-Palestinian groups, most of them based in Europe, the Associated Press reported.

The mission is named after the first Freedom Flotilla, which Israeli naval commandoes attacked on May 31, 2010, in international waters, killing nine Turkish activists and injuring around 50 others.
Huwaida Arraf, was on board The Challenger, a U.S.-flagged ship that was part of this international effort to break Israel’s cruel illegal blockade of the Palestinian Gaza Strip.

Huwaida Arraf ISM Co-Founder
Huwaida recounts : “Israeli commandoes grabbed me by my hair and rammed my head into the deck. They then stepped on my head in order to cuff my hands behind my back and then put a sack over my head. Worse yet, the commandoes killed nine of my fellow passengers, including 19-year old U.S. citizen Furkan Dogan, on the Mavi Marmara.

An international fact-finding mission of the UN Human Rights Council concluded that Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip is “collective punishment”–a war crime–and that its May 31, 2010, attack on the flotilla in order to enforce its blockade was “illegal.” The mission found that six passengers, including Furkan, were killed “in a manner consistent with an extra-legal, arbitrary and summary execution,” and that survivors were subjected to “torture.”

Rather than put pressure on Israel to end its illegal blockade of Gaza, investigate Israel’s killing of a U.S. citizen and attack against a U.S. ship, and sanction Israel for misusing U.S. weapons to attack the flotilla, the Obama Administration shamefully has tried to shield Israel from accountability for its actions.

On Saturday, Egypt permanently reopened its border crossing with Rafah. This is an important step toward ending Gaza’s isolation. But because Israel is still illegally blockading Gaza by land, sea and air, and because my country–the United States–is still enabling Israel to get away with it (in April, U.S. Ambassador to the UN Susan Rice even publicly pressured governments to block future flotillas), in June I plan to sail for Gaza again with “Freedom Flotilla II–Stay Human.”
Four women Nobel Peace Laureates have sent an open letter calling on United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon to support the safe passage of the Freedom Flotilla II. The flotilla will be bringing much-needed humanitarian supplies to the people of Gaza in late June.
Mairead Maguire, Jody Williams, Shirin Ebadi, and Rigoberta Menchú Tum have asked the Secretary General to “support the people of Gaza with two key actions.
First, by appointing a representative to inspect and seal the cargo of the boats of the Freedom Flotilla II—thus assuring the Israeli government that the boats are carrying humanitarian supplies…”
and to “call on all governments to support the safe passage of the Freedom Flotilla II.”

Nobel Women’s Initiative An Open Letter to Ban Ki Moon

10 June 2011 | Nobel Women’s Initiative

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon
United Nations
New York, NY 10017 USA

RE: Inspection and sealing of Freedom Flotilla II cargo

Dear Mr. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon,

We are writing to urge you to use your good offices in support of the humanitarian needs of the people of Gaza.

In our view, you can support the people of Gaza with two key actions. First, by appointing a representative to inspect and seal the cargo of the boats of the Freedom Flotilla II—thus assuring the Israeli government that the boats are carrying humanitarian supplies such as toys, medical supplies, cement and educational materials. Equally important, we strongly urge you to use your authority to call on all governments to support the safe passage of the Freedom Flotilla II.

We are disappointed to learn of your recent efforts to persuade member governments from stopping the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza on the Freedom Flotilla II. We urge you to reconsider and instead encourage member states to lend support and ask Israel not to use force against legitimate humanitarian initiatives undertaken by civil society to help ease the suffering of the people of Gaza who are facing a humanitarian crisis of devastating scale.

The Freedom Flotilla II, organized by 14 national groups and international coalitions and carrying approximately 1500 ‘freedom riders,’ is set to sail to Gaza this month. Sailing in the spirit of promoting human rights, prosperity, and social responsibility, the aim of the Flotilla is to alleviate the humanitarian crisis faced by the citizens of Gaza. The blockade in Gaza is clearly having a harmful impact on the people of Gaza, and indeed UNDP and other agencies report high levels of malnutrition and other disturbing health problems.

According to a report by the World Food Programme and the Food and Agriculture Organization, the level of “abject poverty” among the Palestinians of Gaza has tripled since the imposition of the blockade, with 61 % of households not having enough food.

The blockade has crippled the Gaza economy and destroyed Palestinians’ livelihoods and homes.

We believe our requests to you are in keeping with UN Security Council Resolution 1860 of January 2009 as well as the 2010 UN Human Rights Council fact-finding mission on the attack on Freedom Flotilla I, which are calling for a lift of the blockade to allow humanitarian assistance. We urge you to do all you can to support this nonviolent international humanitarian effort, to provide UN representatives to inspect and seal the cargo, and to appeal to all governments to allow safe passage of the Freedom Flotilla II.

Thank you for your attention to this important matter. We look forward to your positive response.

Sincerely,
-Mairead Corrigan Maguire
-Rigoberta Menchu Tum
-Jody Williams

Greta Berlin one of the early pioneers of the flotilla initiative and founder of Free Gaza Movement wrote: “Instead of pressuring countries to stand in our way, or coming up with ways to bribe governments to stop our ships, the United Nations, the United States and the rest of the international community should recognize the power of this non-violent civilian effort to pressure Israel to change its policy.”
The world community must force Israel to back off and world public opinion and people of conscience must demand that it does so.
The inability of the world community and the United Nations to challenge Israel only frustrates hopes for a stable and peaceful world.
The US government being the primary negotiator for peace and security between Israelis and Palestinians should bear the responsibility for the Zionist regime’s massacre of Palestinian women and children in their homes and territories. Peace and security will be realized only through the establishment of true justice. How can sustainable peace and security be reached by provoking and humiliating others?
Gaza remains under siege, Palestinians in Gaza remain deprived of basic amenities, provoked and angered, the West Bank is also terrorized, Palestinians are being evicted from their homes daily, settlements continue being built, Palestinian land keeps being taken, more innocent lives in the territories are being lost, suffering remains unbearable, and hope for the beleaguered people are dashed. More Sanctions are being imposed on Israel’s perceived enemies in the region, crippling their economies further. Israel does all this without offending anybody!
The Palestinian message on the ground is clear, but no one’s listening. They won’t accept surrender for peace. They want nothing less than freedom and justice in their own unoccupied land. Israel won’t leave them in peace, so the struggle continues.
The United States is not being part of the solution, and appears as a great part of the problem.
I believe the only conclusions to the problem is for Americans to force their Government and Congress to stop supporting Israel diplomatically, militarily and financially.
But, first, and above all, someone is going to have to conduct a spinal implant in the US administration and the Congress!

“America’s inability to resolve the question of Palestine is one of the gravest tragedies of our times. This is primarily because the US administration and the US Congress have succumbed to the demands of the Zionists in America, the Zionist regime in Telaviv and its various Lobbies, AIPAC (American–Israeli Policy Action Committee) and ADL (Anti-Defamation League). There exists a coordinating agency called “The Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations,” Their website (www.conferenceofpresidents.org) is worth exploring (and AIPAC is just one of literally dozens of organizations under its umbrella). This is a lethal ailment that afflicts the United States. The American politicians have fallen captive to this Zionist network.”

First images of armed rebels in Jisr al-Choughour

(DP-News – All Voices)
MB Rebels at Jisr al Choughour
SYRIA- the photos of Rebels, identified as members of the Muslim Brotherhood, took up arms against the Syria regime in the northwest of Syria, show rare example of an insurgency army in this country. Photos have been taken since Sunday and were obtained by AFP Thursday.

These photographs, taken with an iPhone on the heights of Jisr al-Choughour where the army was conducting a major offensive then, show the rebels trying to stand guard at a checkpoint. The author of photos, these are members of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Hidden behind sand bags and sit around a table placed near a road, the men show off shotguns.

Pro-democracy demonstrations began three months ago in Syria, but very little evidence has so far reported an armed insurrection, except the statements of the official television and the authorities, who claim to deal with attacks of "armed groups".

Jisr al-Choughour, Syrian town of 50,000 inhabitants, was deserted by its` inhabitants, many parties in Turkey since the violence have exploded ten days ago.

Syrian army had sent its tanks and helicopters to quell the protest, Army claimed to have regained control on Sunday and stalk "armed men" in the surrounding mountains.

Many refugees arrived in Turkey have accused the soldiers have opened fire on unarmed demonstrators.

The military announced it had discovered since at Jisr al-Choughour two "mass graves" where they believe the bodies of Loyalist soldiers tortured by "armed groups" have been filed as witnesses and the deserters had described, but rather the remains of mutineers.

The Muslim Brotherhood is banned in Syria since the bloody clashes that had opposed the power in the early 1980s. A law provides the death penalty against anyone who belongs.

Families of captives call on Egyptians to exchange spy for Arab captives

[ 17/06/2011 - 03:29 PM ]

GAZA, (PIC)-- Families of Palestinian captives called on the Egyptian government not to release the Israeli spy, Ilan Grapel, except after reaching an honourable exchange deal to free Egyptian and Palestinian captives reeling inside Zionist prisons of death and torture.
Samir Asfour, father of wounded captive Ahmad Asfour, sent a letter in the name of families of Palestinian captives to the ruling Egyptian military council in which he said: “We have female captives suffering humiliation inside Zionist jails, we have child captives as well as sick captives, we appeal to you to secure their release in return for the release of the Zionist spy.”
He also sent a letter to the revolution youth calling on them to stand by the Palestinian people and called on families of Egyptian captives to campaign for their release from occupation jails.

Maj. Gen. Haddad: No Split in the Syrian Army

Syrian Army(DP-News – Arab News)

SYRIA- Army units that had surrounded Maaret Al-Numan were poised to enter the town as a senior military official claimed that “gunmen” inside were “intimidating people into fleeing the area.” Maj. Gen. Riad Haddad, head of the military’s political department, said the government feared a repeat of the violence in nearby Jisr Al-Shughour, where authorities say gunmen killed 120 officers and security personnel last week, prompting troops to storm the town in Idlib province.

Haddad said the army had not entered Maaret Al-Numan “yet,” implying they were bracing for a military operation there.

Haddad said “special units” were involved in the military operations in the north but denied widespread witness accounts that elite Syrian troops led by President Bashar Assad’s brother, Maher, had been involved.

“The Fourth Division has not been entrusted with any mission until now,” he said, adding the president’s brother was not the commander of the division but of a unit within the division.

Haddad said armed forces were “coherent and carry out all tasks entrusted to them.” “There is no split in the Syrian army. It is coherent and has the mandates to end these painful events Syria is passing through,” he said.

Haddad said 3,000 displaced people from Jisr Al-Shughour have returned to their towns and villages on Tuesday, hours after the Syrian government’s appeal on all those who have fled to Turkey to return.

Activists say more than 1,400 Syrians have died and some 10,000 have been detained in the government crackdown since the popular uprising began in mid-March, inspired by the revolutions in Tunisia and Egypt.

Activists said hundreds of residents continued to flee Maaret Al-Numan Wednesday to escape the tank forces on the outskirts. They said the town had come under intermittent shelling in the past days.

The government blames a foreign conspiracy for the violence, which it says is perpetrated by religious extremists and terrorists seeking to destabilize the country.

NABLUS, (PIC)-- Extremist Jewish settlers on Thursday torched Palestinian crops in agricultural land belonging to the villagers of Awarta to the south east of the Northern West Bank city of Nablus.
Qais Awwad, head of the village council of Awarta, told the PIC correspondent that settlers from Itamar and Yitzhar settlements were behind the fires in the villagers fields.
Awwad added that seven dunums (1 dunum= 1000 square meters) planted with wheat was affected by the fire before the Palestinian fire brigades managed to control the fire.
He also said that settlers riding cars hurled rocks at Palestinian cars at the main entrance of the village.
Awwad added that villagers’ lands close to the Hawwara military camp are polluted by sewage water from the camp which is purposely disposed of in this way to cause damage to the Palestinian agricultural sector, not to mention the resulting presence of mosquitos and diseases associated with sewage water.
Meanwhile, IOF troops combing areas close to the village of Ya’bad west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin set fire to olive groves on Thursday afternoon resulting in a fire which went out of control.
Local sources said that the IOF troops started the fire and local residents as well as the Palestinian fire brigades fought the fire and managed to put it off, but only after the fire destroyed 30 dunums of olive groves.
