وحدها الحرب الأهلية تُعيد السعودية إلى لبنان

من يقفز إلى عبارة ابن فرحان الثانية، يتأكد أكثر فأكثر، إذ يقول إن المطلوب من الشعب اللبناني إنهاء سيطرة حزب الله على المشهد السياسي اللبناني، لكن كيف؟

لم يكد وزير الخارجية السعودي فيصل بن فرحان يتحدث عن هيمنة حزب الله على لبنان، حتى انطلقت أبواق السعودية من كل حدبٍ لبنانيٍّ وصوب، لترديد العبارة الغبية نفسها، محاولين إقناع أنفسهم بأنَّ حزب الله يهيمن على لبنان أولاً، وأن هذه الهيمنة هي سبب بلاء الشعب اللبناني ثانياً، وهو ما يفرض التوقف عند كذبته هذه، لدحض ما يحاولون زرعه في الرؤوس اليوم، بالمنطق والأدلة دوماً: 

·  سياسة لبنان الماليّة يرسمها ويقرّها وينفّذها حاكم مصرف لبنان رياض سلامة (الأميركي الهوى والخلفية)، من دون تشاور مع أحد.

·  سلطات لبنان القضائية يقودها ويتحكّم فيها رئيس مجلس القضاء الأعلى سهيل عبود (الأميركيّ الهوى والخلفية أيضاً)، من دون تشاور مع أحد. 

·  سلطات لبنان الأمنيّة تقودها مؤسَّسة الجيش ومؤسَّسة قوى الأمن الداخلي، وعلاقة المؤسَّستين بالأميركيين أوطد على جميع المستويات مع السفارة الأميركية منها مع حزب الله.

·  الفضاء الإعلامي اللبناني المحلي غير الحزبي تختزله التلفزيونات الثلاثة، (الجديد) و(المر) و(المؤسسة اللبنانية للإرسال)، التي تفتح هواءها بجميع برامجها من دون استثناء للتحريض على حزب الله وحلفائه. وغالباً ما يخصّص هؤلاء حلقات كاملة لشتم الأمين العام لحزب الله السيد حسن نصرالله، من دون أن يرفّ جفن للهيئات الرقابية أو القانونية أو الإعلامية.

المملكة واضحة وحاسمة: إما تلعبون في ملعب حزب الله الحقيقيّ وإما أن المملكة لا تريد اللعب، إما حرب أهلية وإما لا شيء آخر.

·  في الساحات اللبنانية والشوارع، يمكن لمناوئي حزب الله تنظيم تظاهرات شتامة ورفع الصور المسيئة وتعليق المشانق، فيما يحاولون منع حزب الله من تنظيم تظاهرة أو اعتصام أو وقفة احتجاجية.

·  على مستوى الاستثمارات الخارجية، يؤكّد الصينيون والروس أنهم لا يفكّرون في الاستثمار في لبنان، لمعرفتهم بأن تسهيل الحكومة أو الوزير المعني لا يكفي، لأنَّ الإدارة اللبنانية تزدحم على جميع المستويات الوظيفية بأصدقاء الولايات المتحدة الذين يتقنون وضع العراقيل.

·   حزب الله يهيمن على الدولة اللبنانية، لكنه يعجز عن إدراج بند واحد في جدول مجالس الوزراء المتعاقبة منذ أكثر من 10 سنوات، لبحث العروضات الإيرانية الخاصة بإنشاء معامل للكهرباء أو غيرها.

·   حزب الله يهيمن على الدولة اللبنانية، لكن السفارة الأميركية تحضر في خلية طوارئ رسمية تابعة لوزارة الخارجية اللبنانية، وتذهب وتجيء بين المجالس البلدية والإدارات العامة والقضاة، فيما تصدر وزارة خارجيتها البيان تلو الآخر في ما يخص عمل القضاء اللبناني.

·   حزب الله يهيمن على الدولة اللبنانية التي تسرح وتمرح فيها مئات الجمعيات غير المرّخصة، التي تحول لها الخزينة الأميركية وبعض الدول الأوروبية نحو ملياري دولار سنوياً، لإنفاقها من دون أي حسيب أو رقيب، بهدف تحقيق أجندات الممولين.

بناء عليه، إنَّ القرار المالي والقضائي والإداري والإعلامي والأمني والإنمائي هو أبعد ما يكون عن هيمنة حزب الله في أقل تقدير. أما كارتيلات الدواء والمواد الغذائية ومواد التنظيف والبنزين والمازوت والغاز والحديد والإسمنت والمقاولات، فهي معروفة أيضاً بولائها المطلق للأفرقاء المناوئين لحزب الله.

ومع ذلك، فإن فيصل بن فرحان يتحدث بكل وقاحة عن وجوب “تحرير لبنان من هيمنة حزب الله”، وهو ما يؤكد أنه لا يقصد إلا “تحرير لبنان من حزب الله”، فوجود الأخير في لبنان هو ما يستفز الخارجية السعودية، وليس “هيمنته” على لبنان.

ومن يقفز إلى عبارة ابن فرحان الثانية، يتأكد أكثر فأكثر، إذ يقول إن المطلوب من الشعب اللبناني إنهاء سيطرة حزب الله على المشهد السياسي اللبناني، لكن كيف؟ 

طبعاً ليس بالوسائل الدبلوماسية، بدليل أن المملكة التي لا تؤمن بالدبلوماسية في حالات كهذه أنهت العلاقات الدبلوماسية مع لبنان، ولا بصناديق الاقتراع، لأن المملكة لا تريد استمرار الحكومة اللبنانية الضرورية لإجراء الانتخابات، ولا بـ”الأخذ والعطاء”، كما يفعل الرئيس سعد الحريري، بدليل نقمتها المتواصلة عليه. 

كيف إذا؟ كما يفعل سمير جعجع الذي خصه السفير السعودي بآخر زياراته، تأكيداً على افتخارهم الشديد به، وكما فعل قبله بعض أفراد العشائر الذين غرر بهم، وكما فعل قبل هذا وذلك حشد التكفيريين الذين عبدت لهم المملكة الطرقات نحو منطقتنا.

المملكة العربية السعودية ملّت الوسائل الدبلوماسية والمفاوضات والبيانات وتشاطر اللبنانيين عليها؛ الأقربين قبل الأبعدين، فلا نفع لتغريدات الأمين العام السابق لقوى 14 آذار فارس سعيد ورئيس حزب الكتائب سامي الجميل، ولا نفع لكل العراضات البطولية في مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي وكل الذباب الإلكترونيّ، ولا نفع للإعلانات التي تُنشر باسم الجالية اللبنانية في الصحف السعودية، ولا نفع لبيانات النواب اللبنانيين، أمثال نعمة طعمة (نائب جنبلاطي)، الذين يوزعون أسبوعياً البيان نفسه عن “طويل الباع”، ولا نفع لكل الغزل الذي يكتبه الإعلاميون والإعلاميات عن الأبراج والجسور وشبكات المجارير ومستوى السعادة والرفاهية، طمعاً بإقامة ذهبية هنا وهناك.

لا نفع لهذا كله، فالمعركة ليست افتراضية أو إعلامية أو إعلانية. لقد اقتنعت المملكة أخيراً بأن المعركة ميدانية بامتياز، وتحتاج إلى مقاتلين حقيقيين، لا مقاتلين افتراضيين، من بعيد إلى بعيد، تصلهم الريالات في ما هم في أسرّتهم يشاهدون آخر إصدارات “نتفليكس”. في يد يأكلون الفوشار، وفي اليد الأخرى يغرّدون مهددين متوعدين. 

من يقف فعلاً مع المملكة، عليه أن يستبدل “الشورت” بـ”يوفو” عسكري، ويستر صدره بـ”فيلد” زيتي، ويفتعل كميناً أو أية مواجهة من شأنها “إنهاء سيطرة حزب الله على المشهد السياسي اللبناني”. ولاحقاً، بعد أن يفعل ما عجز المارينز، ثم “إسرائيل”، ثم “التكفيريون”، عن فعله، يمكن أن يراجع المملكة ليحصل على مكافأته، وتتكرم “مملكة الخير” بالعودة إلى لبنان.

هذا المواطن اللبناني الذي أمضى العمر عمرين لشراء شقة فخمة في عين الرمانة أو وسط بيروت أو الحدت أو فرن الشباك أو الأشرفية، أو بنى بيت أحلامه في بعبدا أو بيت مري أو بكفيا أو عجلتون أو بشري، ويريد انتزاع ثقة المملكة به، لا تكفيه تغريدة افتراضية، إنما عليه اقتلاع الأشجار الجميلة التي أحاط بها منزله لتثبيت المتاريس، ونصب “دوشكا” فوق السطح، ونشر القناصات خلف الشبابيك، وتوضيب ثياب زوجته والمرايا وكل الأحذية، تحضيراً لتهجير جديد أو نزوح، فاللبنانيّ (ة) الذي تبحث عنه المملكة ليس اللبنانيّ الجميل الذي يهتم بأناقته وبحسابه في “إنستغرام”، إنما اللبناني المستعد للموت من أجلها. اللبناني الذي تبحث عنه المملكة ليس اللبنانيّ الذي ينظم المهرجانات الصيفية، ويتباهى بالثلج الجبليّ، إنما اللبناني الذي يشمّر عن ساعديه ويشرع في القتال.

المملكة واضحة وحاسمة: في المال، لا توجد هيمنة لحزب الله، وكذلك في الإعلام والدبلوماسية والإعلان والقضاء والإدارة العامة والفضاء السياسي العام والعالم الافتراضي والكارتيلات والغناء، ولا حاجة بالتالي إلى إضاعة الوقت في هذه جميعها: إما تلعبون في ملعب حزب الله الحقيقيّ وإما أن المملكة لا تريد اللعب، إما حرب أهلية وإما لا شيء آخر. لا حلول وسط بعد اليوم.

وها هو الذكيّ ابن فرحان يذهب أبعد في عباراته المقتضبة، ليقول إن أصول الأزمة مع لبنان ترجع إلى “التكوين السياسي اللبناني الذي يعزز هيمنة جماعة حزب الله”، وهو يحدد المشكلة بالتالي بأنها مع النظام اللبناني، بديمقراطيته أولاً، وتوافقيته ثانياً، وميثاقيته ثالثاً.

هذه الديمقراطية التوافقية الميثاقية تستفز السعودية، فهي تريد نظام حكم آخر في لبنان. وعند التدقيق، سيتبين أن ما يقوله بعض الحمقى السعوديين على شاشات التلفزيون، يقوله ابن فرحان نفسه بطريقة دبلوماسية: نريدكم جزءاً من المملكة، وعلى صورتها ومثالها: نظام ملكيّ أكثريّ قمعيّ، لا يوجد فيه شيء يشبه حرية التعبير، أو لا نريدكم. أما كيف يُغيّر النظام، فليس بالانتخابات، لأنهم لا يريدون استمرار الحكومة الضروية لإجراء الانتخابات، ولا بالضغط الدبلوماسي، لأنهم قطعوا العلاقات الدبلوماسية، إنما بالاقتتال الداخلي والحروب الأهلية. 

إنها عبثية ما بعدها عبثية. تخيلوا أن حاكماً يتهم حزب الله بتدريب “أنصار الله” الذين يهزمونه في الحرب، يقرّر أن ينتقل من المواجهة العبثية مع “أنصار الله” الذين لم يستطع أن يهزمهم إلى مواجهة مع مدربهم. وفق مصطلحاته، فإن الحوثي هو الطالب، والحزب هو الأستاذ. يهزمه الطالب، فيفكر في مواجهة الأستاذ. إنه الانتقال من العبثية إلى العدمية.إن الآراء المذكورة في هذه المقالة لا تعبّر بالضرورة عن رأي الميادين وإنما تعبّر عن رأي صاحبها حصراً

Swiss Newspaper Exposes: Banque Du Liban Gov. Deletes 14 Pages Warning of Economic Catastrophe

The Swiss newspaper, Le Temps, revealed that the Banque Du Liban [Central Bank of Lebanon] and its governor, Riad Salameh, crossed out 14 pages of a report by the International Monetary Fund in 2016 warning of the catastrophe that befell Lebanon after 3 years.

The newspaper said it had obtained a document about a meeting between the IMF team headed by its representative in Lebanon Alvaro Pearce and Salameh and a number of other officials of the Lebanese Bank on April 9, 2016.

According to the document, the IMF representative began his conversation with Salameh by saying: “You are on the edge of the abyss”.

The documents prepared by the Financial Sector Assessment Program [FSAP] at the IMF showed their findings and proved that the net deficit of the Central Bank has a deficit of 4.7 billion dollars, which represents 10% of the gross domestic product.

They also pointed out that local banks do not have the necessary liquidity to face a potential crisis.

The Swiss newspaper said that this information might have allowed to reduce the tragedy that Lebanon has been going through since 2020.

The 2020 economic crisis in the country is the worst since the Lebanese war between 1975 and 1990, as poverty rate decreased from 28% to 55% in one year, and 6 million Lebanese were deprived of access to their bank accounts, amidst fuel and medicine shortages.

 Yet, “a bank and its governor succeeded in removing the basic data from the report”.

Hezbollah’s Deterrence Equation in Place: US-“Israeli” Maritime Siege Has Been Broken

Beirut – On the 16th of February 2018, Hezbollah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah announced the first direct threat regarding the maritime dispute between Lebanon and “Israel”.

He stated that the conflict concerning Block 9 in the Lebanese maritime borders is the battle of all the Lebanese nation. His Eminence issued a warning on any drilling by the “Israeli” occupation regime concerning the disputed borders.

Since then and on several occasions, Hezbollah emphasized on the importance of the maritime borders dispute, taking in consideration the “Israeli” ambitions concerning oil and gas sources in the disputed waters.

Considering the full support of the United States to “Israel” regarding the maritime dispute, and with the US government vetoing oil and gas extraction from the Lebanese water, the latter faced a heavy siege on several aspects especially on the fuel and gasoline sources, which caused a severe crisis in the power plants and transportation sectors, leading to an immense shortage on both parts.

The US-“Israeli” message has been delivered to all the Lebanese parties and public, as any government backed by Hezbollah and its allies will face sanctions affecting the country’s efficiency and life concerns; in the light of this, the resulting crisis will be attributed to Hezbollah’s policy.

Amid the severe crisis taking place, Hezbollah had to deal with it in a matter of short time, and a very precise act to face the sanctions and the siege imposed on the country.

The Caesar Act imposed lately on Syria by the US government, is an additional method that made a crystal clear image of the American siege, which might put a lot of obstacles and barriers towards any step forward to solve the current social and economic issues resulting from it.

Hezbollah’s political council and Sayyed Nasrallah on different occasions tackled the issue of the US-imposed Caesar Act, accusing it of being the direct cause of the current crisis. They demanded a quick lift of this act and all other sanctions related to Lebanon and Syria together, plus the American prohibition on any international aid to Lebanon, be it financial or social.

To rub salt into the wound, the currency inflammation caused by the governor of Lebanon’s central bank Riad Salameh, a US ally, as he collaborated mostly with the latter government in the severe drop of the dollar exchange rate, made things even worse.

The more tightened the US siege is, the more badly the Lebanese society is affected, especially with the 80% decrease in economic security.

In the light of Hezbollah’s long lasting patience, Sayyed Nasrallah announced the finalized deterrence equation in Lebanon on the 10^th of Muharram, through receiving a fuel tanker from Iran, breaking the American siege. Moreover, His Eminence confirmed that the ship will be considered a Lebanese land, in a step forward to deter the “Israeli” occupation from attacking or besieging the ship itself.

Following the Ashura commemoration, Sayyed Nasrallah declared the arrival of 3 other fuel tankers, in addition to several others as long as the current circumstances circle the Lebanese people in a bid to earn financial security – which Hezbollah has successfully earned given all the political reactions to the His Eminence’s announcement – most importantly, the deterrence equation in Lebanon by land, air and sea has been successfully accomplished.

النفط الإيراني… شريان للحياة

«بكرا بيتعوّدوا»، العبارة المنسوبة إلى رياض سلامة تعليقاً على تعامل اللبنانيين مع انهيار قيمة الليرة، باتت دستور أكثرية قوى السلطة. منذ سنتين، عاش لبنان ثلاث صدمات اقتصادية كبرى، يجري التعامل معها كما لو أنها لم تكن: صدمة إفلاس القطاع المصرفي المكابر على إعلان إفلاسه وانهيار الليرة، وصدمة رفع الدعم، وصدمة انقطاع الطاقة الكهربائية والمحروقات معاً.

كل واحدة من هذه الصدمات كفيلة، وحدها، بهدم اقتصاد ولو كان قوياً، وبتدمير قدرات السكان المعيشية. الانهيار لا يُمكن أن يستمر، ولو في أفشل دول العالم، من دون خطة إنقاذ، لوقف الانهيار وعكس المسار نحو العودة إلى «الحياة الطبيعية». رفع الدعم لا يمكن أن يتم، ولو في أكثر الرأسماليات توحشاً، من دون شبكة أمان اجتماعي. حتى البنك وصندوق النقد الدوليّان، وسواهما من مؤسسات نظام سيادة رأس المال في العالم، يوصيان بأن يكون قرار إلغاء الدعم عن السلع الأساسية متزامناً مع برامج حماية اجتماعية، للطبقات الأكثر ضعفاً. وأكثر ما ينبغي الامتناع عنه، هو رفع الدعم فجأة عن الغذاء والدواء والاستشفاء والمحروقات والطاقة. صدمات متتالية أصابت سكان لبنان، مترافقة مع جائحة كورونا العالمية، وانفجار المرفأ، وأزمة سياسية مستمرة منذ ما قبل انسحاب الجيش السوري أنتجت عدم انتظام في المؤسسات الدستورية (فراغ حكومي، فراغ رئاسي وتمديد نيابي…) استهلك أكثر من نصف الأعوام الـ 16 الماضية.

صدمات متتالية، أتت بعد إجراءات حصارية نفّذتها الولايات المتحدة الأميركية، بدأت عام 2011 بقرار إعدام البنك اللبناني الكندي (وهو العام الذي بدأ فيه ميزان المدفوعات اللبناني يشهد عجزاً استمر حتى اليوم)، ثم إجراءات حصار سوريا تزامناً مع اندلاع الحرب فيها، وقرارات العقوبات بحق شركات وأفراد لبنانيين، وصولاً إلى إعدام بنك الجمال صيف عام 2019 (صاعق الانهيار) وإقفال المصارف بعد 17 تشرين الأول 2019 (قرار اتخذته جمعية المصارف أثناء وجودها مع سلامة في واشنطن). طوال تلك الفترة، كانت البنوك تكنز الودائع في مصرف لبنان الذي اتخذ حاكمه كل الإجراءات الممكنة من أجل خنق الاقتصاد، وتوّجها، بغطاء من أكثرية سياسية عابرة للانقسام التقليدي، بقرار رفع الدعم عن المحروقات. وسبق ذلك القرار قانونٌ أصدره مجلس النواب في نيسان 2021 منح فيه سلفة خزينة لمؤسسة كهرباء لبنان بقيمة 300 مليار ليرة. هذا القانون يمكن تسميته بقانون العتمة. فالمؤسسة كانت تطلب 1500 مليار ليرة لتأمين ثمن الوقود الكافي لتوليد الطاقة الكهربائية وصيانة معامل الإنتاج حتى نهاية العام الجاري. لكنّ عدداً من الكتل النيابية (القوات اللبنانية والحزب التقدمي الاشتراكي وتيار المستقبل وحركة أمل) ضغطت لخفض قيمة السلفة حتى 300 مليار ليرة، تحت طائلة عدم إصدار القانون. وشنّ ممثلون عن هذه الكتل عملية تضليل شنيعة للسكان، متعمّدين الكذب عبر القول إن خفض قيمة السلفة هدفه الحفاظ على أموال المودعين التي لم تحرّك هذه الكتل ساكناً لحمايتها، لا قبل الانهيار استباقاً، ولا بعده حفاظاً على ما تبقى منها. ببساطة، صدر قانون العتمة، عبر حجب الأموال عن مؤسسة كهرباء لبنان. ثم غطّت هذه الكتل، وغيرها، قرار سلامة رفع الدعم عن المحروقات. هذه الكتل تنقسم إلى قسمين. القوات والاشتراكي والمستقبل فعلوا ما فعلوه امتثالاً لأوامر أميركية بإيصال البلاد إلى الدرَك الأسفل من الانهيار. أما كتلة حركة أمل، ففعلته نكاية بالتيار الوطني الحر. وفي خلفية قانون العتمة وقرار رفع الدعم، انحياز كلي لأصحاب الثروات والمصارف.

ما جرى كان تأثيره كارثياً. لم يسبق أن اتخذت دولة، عن وعي كامل، قراراً بتدمير اقتصادها بالصورة التي فعلتها السلطة اللبنانية. ما يشهده لبنان حالياً من انقطاع للطاقة الكهربائية والمحروقات لا يمكن أن تشهده أي دولة من دون حرب مدمّرة. فالطاقة هي العمود الفقري للحياة في القرن الحادي والعشرين بعد الميلاد. ونتائج وقف إنتاج الكهرباء وقطع المحروقات لا تعيد سكان لبنان إلى المستوى الذي كانوا يعيشون فيه بعد الحرب الأهلية مباشرة، بل تُرجعهم إلى زمن ما قبل إنشاء سكة الحديد وإقامة أول معامل إنتاج الكهرباء زمن السلطة العثمانية. والدولة التي فُرِض عليها هذا الواقع، بقرار خارجي وداخلي، هي دولة يقول حاكم مصرفها المركزي إن بين يديه 14 مليار دولار «نقداً»، و17 مليار دولار ذهباً.

مجلس النواب، بوصفه المؤسسة الدستورية الأمّ، كان ينبغي أن يكون الحصن الأخير دفاعاً عن حقوق أبناء «الأمة» ومصالحهم. كان يُنتظر منه إصدار قوانين تُجبر مصرف لبنان على استمرار الدعم إلى حين إقامة شبكة أمان اجتماعي، وعلى ضمان استمرار إنتاج الكهرباء بالطاقة القصوى، وعلى تمويل إقامة معامل إنتاج جديدة تكفي لتغطية كامل حاجة البلاد. كان يُنتظر منه أن يكون على قدر المسؤولية، لإخراج البلاد من صدمة الانهيار.

جلسة مجلس النواب، أمس، يمكن اعتبارها خاتمة الاستقالة من بذل أيّ جُهد إنقاذي. هذا الواقع الداخلي، متشابكاً مع الحصار الخارجي، لا يواجَه بقرارات تقليدية. البلاد تعيش حالة انهيار تام يُعبَّر عنها بانقطاع التيار الكهربائي، وفقدان المحروقات. موازين القوى في المؤسسات الدستورية موزعة بين شريك لدول الحصار (سياسياً ومالياً)، ومستقيل من مسؤوليته وعاجز عن التغيير من الداخل

ومشتغل بالنكاية. والواقع أشبه ما يكون بحالة حرب غير معلنة. وإزاءه، لا بد من حلول غير تقليدية، على رأسها تأمين مصادر الطاقة، في وجه الاحتكار والحصار، والتفافاً على العجز التام للمؤسسات. إجراءات طوارئ هدفها إنعاش المريض والحؤول دون وفاته. هنا تحديداً تكمن أهمية استيراد النفط من إيران. إنه ليس حلاً للأزمة في لبنان، لكنه بالتأكيد شريانٌ للحياة، في وجه قوى الموت الداخلية والخارجية.

Lebanese Bank Governor’s Reckless Step: A Move towards the Total Collapse

Central Bank Governor Riad Salameh’s decision to lift subsidies off fuel imports pushed the whole country further into a very dangerous position.

The decision represents an illegal, reckless and irresponsible step as the people suffers from host of shortages in basics with skyrocketing prices and devaluation of the Lebanese currency.

The fuel is probably the most important vital commodity. It affects people’s life greatly as it covers many vital areas of every day’s life like hospitals, bakeries, universities, schools, water and electricity supplies and many others.

This brought the whole country into a total paralysis and will bring it closer to the verge of collapse unless the concerned parties take the necessary measures to stop this or alleviate its impact on people’s life.

Lay people and officials know that subsidies will not continue forever especially under the deteriorating situation in all levels, but such a decision cannot be taken the way Salameh did. He removed the government support onetime and without considering that the necessary precautionary measures have been put into implementation. Many parties have suggested that every poor family receives a certain limited amount of supported fuel, for example, 80 liters per month. Moreover, the long awaited for financial support card has not been yet put into effect.

Such necessary measures would have eased the exacerbating crisis and rendered the step possible to swallow by people. However, the governor has chosen to lift the fuel subsidies abruptly and without any prior notice. This has all happened at a time when vice Prime Minister Zeina Akar announced that this was not going to take place.

The governor’s decision says a lot and gives very alarming indications about the way the country is run at this stage.

First, the step reflects the total detachment of the ruling class from the people and their sufferings.

Second, it gives an alarm that the ruling oligarchy decided that the correction of the current crisis is being put on the burden of the doomed and most impoverished people.

Third, it assures that the governor acts at his utmost liberty without waiting for any legal or political coverage.

What does all this tell?

It simply announces that we are hastily heading towards the great crash or the collapse of the state. Many scenes of the Venezuelan scenario are already here.

People are endlessly queuing for many vital daily needs like gasoline, cooking gas, medications, and recently children milk and bread. The whole country is in total chaos and the people are disoriented about what happened and about what to do, or where to go to find a solution or at least an alleviation of their suffering.

The international community and the powerful countries like the US , France, Britain and their allies in the Arab world are watching but not taking concrete tangible steps to help though they know it is within their reach, why?  Because they are investing in our misery, and this is not a conspiracy theory that aims at directing the blame on Washington and its allies. We know that country’s corruption is the number one culprit, but they knew it and accepted it and continued to deal normally with it and now they want to strip Lebanon from its last point of strength represented by its triumphant resistance to dictate their conditions in politics and economy and to gain with their mounting blockade and economic pressure what they failed to do with their military campaigns. They need to know they are pining hopes over illusion. This cannot and will not be.

Now, as the endeavors and efforts to form a government have reached a very advanced stage, probably in the near coming days, hopes are rising that this mandatory step would usher in a significant effort to start a robust and wise rescue planned effort and represents the first step in the one thousand mile trip to put things back on track.

With Israeli spyware Pegasus exposed, Le Monde reveals that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman requested spying on several politicians and journalists in Lebanon: Who are they?

The French daily Le Monde revealed Monday that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman asked to spy on several Lebanese journalists and politicians, including President Michel Aoun, through Israeli NSO’s spyware Pegasus.

Le Monde added in an investigation published today that several Lebanese political and media figures were victims of a spying attack on Saudi Arabia and the UAE’s behalf between 2018-2019.

Figures included former Prime Minister Saad Hariri, president of the Free Patriotic Movement Gebran Bassil, General Director of the Lebanese General Directorate of General Security Abbas Ibrahim.

The newspaper highlighted that bin Salman also asked Pegasus to spy “on Hezbollah MPs Hassan Fadlallah, and  Ali Fayyad, in addition to the head of Hezbollah’s liaison and coordination unit Wafiq Safa.”

The Saudi Crown Prince also requested to spy on Banque du Liban Governor Riad Salameh and former Minister of Finance Ali Hassan Khalil.

Le Monde also indicated that “Saudi Arabia and the UAE requested spying on two journalists: Ghassan Ben Jeddou and Ibrahim Al Amine.”

According to the newspaper, Pegasus is able to steal content from phones, including WhatsApp and Signal messages.

The Israeli NSO group is the developer of this spyware.

Today, several governments, organizations, media outlets, and unions condemned worldwide spyware attacks carried out through Israeli Pegasus spyware, which targeted activists, journalists, and politicians.

In January 2020, The Washington Post reported, in an extensive investigation, that the UAE and Saudi Arabia were spying on journalists and activists in London and Qatar, through the Israeli Pegasus spyware.

عصابة ذئاب الليل في الشركات الخاصة للاستخبارات الغربية تدخل إلى غرف النوم التي تستهويها، لكن هوس ابن سلمان وابن زايد و”إسرائيل” الذي مسّ شبكة صيد واسعة خصّ الإعلام والصحافيين الأحرار.

لا ريب في أن اللائحة المسرّبة حالياً هي مجرّد عيّنة أولية عن مئات الأسماء في لبنان.

بقدرة قادر، تكشف مؤسسة “فوربيدن ستوريز” المغمورة في فرنسا، على لسان مديرتها لوران ريشار (الاسم الفرنسي يوحي باسم مذكّر)، عن تجسّس إسرائيلي على هواتف موالية ومعادية، من بينها هواتف 180 إعلامياً في أكثر من 50 دولة، لمصلحة ابن سلمان وابن زايد وغيرهما.

التسريبات التي عرضت بعضها صحيفة “لوموند” الفرنسية ونقلها الإعلام في لبنان، تذكر أسماء سياسيين ومسؤولين عديدين. ومن بين الإعلاميين، تخصّ غسان بن جدو وإبراهيم الأمين.

إعلام المقاومة الإنسانية الأممية

لا ريب في أن اللائحة المسرّبة حالياً هي مجرّد عيّنة أولية عن مئات الأسماء في لبنان، وربما أكثر. وقد تشمل كل الصحافيين وكل إعلاميي المقاومة ورافضي الغطرسة الأميركية والغربية والاحتلال الإسرائيلي والعدوان السعودي – الإماراتي على اليمن وفلسطين.

ثلاثي محور الحرب، الإسرائيلي – السعودي – الإماراتي، يجنّد في معركة التجسّس الأمنية (إضافة إلى عملاء الاستخبارات والأجهزة الأمنية) أكثر من ألف عميل في شركة “إن إس أو” منذ العام 2016، بينهم حوالى 200 صحافي.

ربما تستوقف بعضهم في تقاريرهم الاستخبارية، جريدة “الأخبار” بخطابها الداعم للمقاومة في بيئة اليسار العربي، وقناة “الميادين” التي شبّت عن التقوقع المحلي والإقليمي إلى مهنية إعلامية تمتد باتجاه مقاومة عالم الجنوب الأرحب. مهندس هذا المسار وربّان السفينة بشعار “مع الإنسان في كل مكان”، يُقلق الأجهزة الأمنية الإسرائيلية في المقام الأوّل، والتي تُطلق أيديها الاستخبارات الأميركية والغربية في أميركا اللاتينية وأفريقيا السمراء، فتسرح وتمرح بسردية الخرافات الأسطورية بين الناس الطيّبين.

ولعلّ أكثر ما يحبط التضليل والتلاعب بالعقول، المقاربة التي تعمل عليها “الميادين” بمهنية إعلامية ملتزمة في الخبر والتغطية والحوار وقراءة الأحداث والبرامج… لتقديم رواية تاريخية وثقافية إنسانية عقلانية.

شريكا “إسرائيل” في تحالف الحرب، ابن سلمان وابن زايد، المصابان بعصاب الرهاب المرضي، تقلقهما “الميادين” بتوجّهها فوق الاصطفافات البينية والاحتراب الداخلي، من أجل تحصين الجامع الوطني والقومي المشترك الذي ينمو على تبديده ابن سلمان وابن زايد في نفخ أوار حرب داحس والغبراء العرقية والمذهبية.

ثبات “الميادين” بعزيمة وأناة الصبر الاستراتيجي لإرساء مدرسة الحقيقة في الإعلام المهني الملتزم، يقضّ مضاجع العصاب النرجسي في الرياض وأبو ظبي، والذي توهّم لوهلة، تحت مظلّة ترامب ونتنياهو، أنه صار شاهين.

توسّع “الميادين” فاقم مأزقهم وكشف عن أياديهم الملطّخة بدماء الأطفال والأبرياء في اليمن وفلسطين، بمخاطبة قلوب العالم وعقولهم بلغة الضمير الإنساني ولسان اللغة العربية والإسبانية والإنكليزية الذي يخترق قبَب التوحّش الفولاذية.

عصابة ذئاب الليل تشوبها تباينات افتراس الضحايا

كيف استطاعت مؤسسة لوران ريشار الصغيرة في عالم الاستقصاء الإداري الكشف عن لائحة مستهدفين بالبرنامج الإسرائيلي “بيغاسوس” منذ العام 2016؟ ولماذا تحرّك على الأثر النائب العام الفرنسي ومنظمة “هيومن رايس ووتش” وتحالف 17 مؤسسة إعلامية من المرجح أن تتضاعف أعدادها؟

على الأرجح أنَّ جهات حكومية فرنسية وأميركية في وكالات الاستخبارات تشعر بوصول الموس إلى لحاها، إذ تتخطى شركة “إن إس أو” الإسرائيلية الخطوط العامة المتفق عليها بين الإدارات الغربية والشركات الخاصة التابعة لها.

يبدو أنَّ “إن إس أو” طفحت في اتفاقياتها مع ابن سلمان وابن زايد وغيرهما (المغرب مثلاً) عن الجامع المشترَك في ما يسمى “مكافحة الإرهاب”، والذي ترسم توجهاته الإدارات السياسية، وتوكل خطوطه العريضة إلى وكالات الاستخبارات والشركات الخاصة، ومن بينها “إن إس أو” الإسرائيلية.

كل وكالات الاستخبارات الحكومية الغربية باتت تعتمد منذ عقدين على خصخصة الدولة والأمن (بلاك ووتر) والاستخبارات أيضاً، بحسب النموذج الأميركي. شركات المعلوماتية والاستخبارية الخاصة التي تعمل لمصلحة شركات الاستثمار المتعددة الجنسية، تعمل كذلك مع وكالات الاستخبارات الحكومية بدعم من الإدارات الحكومية، وتبزّها أحياناً بالكفاءة والخبرة التقنية.

شركة “ويست بريدج”، الذراع الأميركية لشركة “إن إس أو”، فلحت مع “سي آي إي” في البيت الأبيض والكونغرس بدعم من ترامب وكوشنر، وتشاركت مع شركة الأسهم الأميركية الخاصة “فرانسيسكو بارتزز مانجمنت”. اتهمت سويسرا استخبارات “سي آي إي” واستخبارات ألمانيا “بي إن دي”، بالاستيلاء على شركة “كريبتو إي جي” السويسرية وشركة “أومنيسك” الأخرى. 

لم تظهر الاختلافات الكثيرة على السّطح، على الرغم من الدلائل والفضائح الأسبوعية، فحلّها الأخوي يجري داخل العائلة الواحدة، لكنّ اتهام الشركة الإسرائيلية باحتمال اختراق هاتف ماكرون وحكومته السابقة والحالية، يدق باب الخطر، وكذلك اتهام “ويتي ويب” باختراق “لوكهيد مارتن” وعدد من الأجهزة العسكرية الأمنية الأميركية لمصلحة “إسرائيل”، بالتعاون مع عملاء سابقين أميركيين وإسرائيليين.

من غير المحتمل أن تصل الحكومات الأميركية والغربية إلى معاقبة “إسرائيل” أو محمد بن سلمان ومحمد بن زايد في العائلة الواحدة، وليس بالضرورة أن تكون التسريبات في لبنان والمنطقة العربية موجّهة ضد “إسرائيل” والسعودية وأبو ظبي، فالدول الغربية معنية بالموافقة على عمليات الموساد “لحفظ أمن إسرائيل”.

قد تكون بعض أهداف التسريب تخويف بعض السياسيين وإسكات صوت بعض الإعلاميين. في كلِّ الأحوال، لم يحرّك غسان بن جدو دافع عرَضي طارئ لهندسة مدرسة “الميادين” الإعلامية، ولن يدفعه إنذار أو تلويح بتهديد إلى تغيير قيْد أنملة عما هو عليه، منتمياً إلى مبادئ وقناعات جُبل عليها مع الحليب وشبّ في تجربة الحياة، لكن عصابة ذئاب الليل تهاجم فريستها في العتمة الكالحة. وقد تخيفها شمعة نور أو نبرة صوت لا يرتعش من أشباح الظلام.

Sheikh Qassem to Al-Ahed: Berri Taking Steps to Form Government; the Syrian Elections Are a Success Story

Lebanon’s Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri is taking steps to form a new government. That’s according to Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary General, His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem, who said that “hopes for solution” are resting on these steps.

“We need the results to appear directly this week,” Sheikh Qassem said in an exclusive interview with the Al-Ahed News.

“The country carrying on without a government means the continuation of economic and social chaos and a continuous deterioration,” he added. “Forming the government is the natural, necessary, and exclusive approach to the beginning of the solution in Lebanon.”

Sheikh Qassem also responded to the Governor of the Bank of Lebanon, Riad Salameh, in relation to the Al-Qard Al-Hasan Association. Hezbollah’s  deputy chief explained that “Al-Qard Al-Hassan Association is a charitable social institution that does not deal with banking matters and is not part of the banking system in Lebanon. Therefore, any observation that may be made by any party that considers itself to have the authority can follow it through the normal, legal channels and will find that this institution is a charitable institution, to which the accusation claimed by some does not apply.”

Regarding the elections in Syria, Sheikh Qassem asserted that “the massive turnout is proof of Syria’s recovery, and that the regime has a well-established position. This scene completely contradicts all previous bets on displaced Syrians serving as a tool to vote for someone other than President Assad, and having the president removed in a democratic and constitutional manner.”

Regarding the restoration of the relationship between Hamas and Syria and the role of Hezbollah in this regard, Sheikh Qassem noted that “the relationship was a subject of follow-up in recent months.”

“There has also been progress towards the possibility of restoring relations between them. But the honorable battle of Al-Quds Sword accelerated these steps. God willing, we will soon see a normal return of relations and repair the rifts.”

Sheikh Qassem affirmed that “the work of the resistance against ‘Israel’ does not belong to a sect, but rather belongs to the honorable Islamic, patriotic, national, and humanitarian resistance.”

“Anyone who is trying to drive a wedge between the resistance movements is acting in an absurd manner.”

Below is the full text of the interview:

1- First, all the supporters of the Secretary-General of Hezbollah are asking about the health of His Eminence, especially after his recent speech. Did you have contact with him after the speech? How can you reassure his supporters?

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, is fine, praise be to God Almighty. He was diagnosed with a mild condition in recent days that required him to rest for two to three days. But since his supporters have been waiting for his speech on May 25, failure to appear would have raised unnecessary questions. It was better for him to make an appearance, despite not fully recovering, to be on the side of his supporters who were waiting for his speech at this important and sensitive stage. And the Secretary-General is fine, God willing.

2- The head of the Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip, Yahya al-Sinwar, stated that “the rockets and planes deployed during the battle were sent in complete coordination between the resistance in Lebanon and Gaza.” What do you have to add regarding details of coordination between the resistance in Lebanon and Gaza?

It has become known that the level of cooperation between the Islamic Republic, Hezbollah, and the resistance in Palestine is high at the level of preparation, capabilities, training, and manufacturing. Therefore, any other details related to the coordination mechanisms remain a security matter, and we cannot disclose their details. However, it is clear that the battle that took place unfolded with close follow-up and permanent cooperation, thank God.

3- How did you read yesterday’s press conference where Al-Sinwar challenged the “Israeli” enemy to assassinate him, and then he publicly walked through the streets of Gaza despite the declared “Israeli” threats?

The “Israelis” usually make many threats in order to leave a psychological effect on their enemies, but it seems that they have not yet understood what the resistance and the resistance fighters are. They are confident in the victory of God Almighty and stand in the front row during confrontations alongside the honorable mujahideen. Hence, the public appearance of Al-Sinwar is a clear challenge to the “Israeli” enemy that their threats could not affect the resistance and its leadership.

4- To what extent can the equation referred to by the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, “Al-Quds versus a regional war,” be enforceable in the foreseeable future?

It is not possible to define anticipated times for wars that “Israel” might initiate or for developments that could lead to a comprehensive regional war. This matter has to do with field data that are not currently available, and the conditions are not favorable to them, but it must remain clear that we, as Hezbollah, are in a state of constant readiness for any calculated or unpredictable development.

5- Did the Al-Quds Sword battle contribute to repairing rifts that appeared between some Palestinian resistance movements and Syria? Does Hezbollah have a role in this?

The relationship between the Hamas movement and Syria has been the subject of follow-up in recent months, and there has also been progress towards the possibility of restoring relations between them. But the honorable battle Al-Quds Sword accelerated these steps. This was highlighted by the announcement of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to receive all the resistance fighters in Damascus, as well as the response of the Hamas leadership about expecting this from Syria, which has always been on the side of the resistance. God willing, we will soon see a normal return of relations and repair the rifts that have risen as a result of developments in Syria in the last stage.

6- What is your response to those who are trying to play on the sectarian chord to divide the resistance factions in the area?

The work of the resistance against “Israel” does not belong to a sect, but rather belongs to the honorable Islamic, patriotic, national, and humanitarian resistance. Therefore, whoever tries to drive a wedge within the relations of the resistance movements is acting in an absurd manner because the level of interaction and integration in the resistance work has been evident at various stages, especially at the last stage, where the level of interaction between the resistance fighters throughout the region is extensive without any sectarian dismissions.

7- After 21 years since the liberation of Lebanon, to what extent can it be said that the resistance is able to deter “Israeli” aggression and attacks?

Talking about Hezbollah’s resistance deterring “Israel” doesn’t need any further verification. “Israel” committed an aggression in 2006 with the expectation that it would crush the resistance in Lebanon, but it failed miserably. For the last 15 years (from 2006 to 2021), “Israel” is still deterred in every sense of the word. This is evidence of the effects that the liberation and the victory in the 2006 aggression left on “Israel”; it does not dare to launch an aggression in any way or form because it is fully aware that the resistance’s response will be very harsh, especially since its capabilities and methods developed extraordinarily in recent years. It is now in a much better position than it was during the liberation or following the 2006 aggression.

8- In the last two years, Lebanon entered an unprecedented phase of economic and monetary deterioration. In your view, does the path of salvation begin from the formation of the government? Do you bet on this matter, especially since there are those who doubt that a government will be born under the current circumstances? Following the disagreement between President Aoun and Hariri, [the government] will not be productive but tensions and mutual obstacles will move to the cabinet table.

There are two options in Lebanon, and there is no third. There is the option of the country carrying on without a government, and this means the continuation of economic and social chaos and a continuous deterioration without reaching any solution. The second option is to form a government so that there is an official body responsible in the country. Even if this government does not achieve everything that the Lebanese people aspire for, at least it introduces the first rescue steps on the path to a solution and begins with efforts to stop the deterioration we are in. Therefore, the formation of the government is the natural, necessary, and exclusive entry point for the beginning of the solution in Lebanon. Then, we must follow up so that the solution is effective. We must also address the gaps that slow the solution down or affect it. There are no other options in Lebanon.

9- After the Secretary-General of Hezbollah confirmed that Speaker Nabih Berri is the only party capable of solving disagreements between President Aoun and Hariri, do you know what he is preparing in this regard?

There are steps that Speaker Berri is now taking, which he hopes will create an opportunity for a solution, and we are helping and cooperating so are other parties. We need the results to appear directly this week.

10- While waiting for the formation of the government, who will the citizens that are looking for fuel, medicine, and basic needs turn to? Does Hezbollah have an alternative plan to protect societal security in Lebanon? Is there anyone who can guarantee that the street will not explode again in light of the continuous deterioration?

Social security is the responsibility of the state and not the responsibility of a particular party. No matter what any party does, it will not be able to achieve social security for the people. It may fill some gaps and address some problems, but there must be a responsible government that the Parliament will hold accountable and follow up with in order to take us to steps for social security and resolve chaos. Any betting outside the framework of forming a government is futile and a waste of time and unrealizable hopes.

11- Does Hezbollah have a project to benefit in a way from the continuous Iranian offers to Lebanon to help in several areas, including electricity, in case Lebanese officials continue to refuse or escape from it?

It is better to wait for the formation of the government, and we will try to help the state cooperate with Iranian, Russian, Chinese, and Western offers, which can speed up dealing with the electricity problem or other problems.

12- In an interview with Al-Hadath channel a few days ago, the Governor of Bank of Lebanon, Riad Salameh, said, “We learned from Washington about Al-Qard Al-Hasan’s connections, and we will investigate this, and the activity of this institution harms the banking system.” What is your response?

Al-Qard Al-Hassan Association is a charitable social institution that does not deal with banking matters and is not part of the banking system in Lebanon. Therefore, any observation that may be made by any party that considers itself to have the authority can follow it through the normal, legal channels and will find that this institution is a charitable institution, to which the accusation claimed by some does not apply.

13- Does Hezbollah support the removal of Riad Salameh from his position?

Any matter related to the governor of the Bank of Lebanon, remaining [in his post] or being ousted, requires a government to make this decision. Discussing this subject is a mere form of entertainment if it is not translated into a discussion within the government, which must take the right position on this issue according to the data presented to it.

14- How is Hezbollah’s relationship with Bkerke today?

The liaison committee between Hezbollah and Bkerke continues its regular and periodic meetings, and there is nothing new in this regard.

15- The Saudi media maintains that Hezbollah is part of the drug trade, and these allegations intensified among Gulf countries preventing Lebanese trucks from passing through their territories. Some Lebanese parties recommended accusing Hezbollah of harming Lebanon’s image and Lebanese production, what is your response?

The link between Hezbollah, drugs, the Gulf states, accusations, and evidence must be dismantled. First, Hezbollah does not trade in drugs and has nothing to do with it, neither from near nor from afar, and it prohibits drug trade and consumption. And the Lebanese security services are fully aware of the extent of Hezbollah’s contribution in providing aid and support when it comes to arresting people or raiding groups in different regions, where we have the ability to help the security services to do so.

As for Western allegations that talk about drug trafficking at the international level, they lack evidence. All the reports they announce say, “This person is close to Hezbollah, “it was leaked to us that Hezbollah may have a relationship,” and “here is an analysis saying that Hezbollah is the one benefiting.” No report dares to accuse Hezbollah directly because it has not been proven to anyone. But they are trying, in a twisted way, to pin it on Hezbollah, and so far, internationally and locally, this matter has not been proven and will not be proven because we are against drugs, drug trade, and anything related to drugs.

Secondly, the drugs seized in pomegranate shipments belongs to one or some drug traffickers, and it has absolutely no connection to Hezbollah. The measures taken by Saudi Arabia, or some Gulf countries are measures related to the shipment of drugs or other shipments. What does this have to do with Hezbollah and the position of the Gulf states with Hezbollah? Linking the matter to Hezbollah is part of the political rivalry and an attempt to tarnish the party’s image. We no longer comment on such accusations because we considered them both frivolous and degrading at the same time and based on unjustified hostility and accusations that do not have the slightest basis. So, if this matter is mentioned repeatedly and Hezbollah did not respond, it is because it has become one of the issues that do not concern us, and the people concerned know very well that we are outside the circle of drugs or the likes.

Does Hezbollah intend to file lawsuits against the media that deliberately insist on placing Hezbollah’s name in this file?

We may need to activate the entire judiciary in Lebanon if we wish to prosecute for every accusation because some throw around accusations a lot without evidence. We do not have the conviction to pursue every matter through the judiciary. We may pursue very specific and very restricted matters if we find that there is a benefit, but this is not our approach.

16- What is your reading of the high turnout in the presidential elections in Syria? And how did you interpret the tension between Lebanese factions over the turnout of the Syrians in Lebanon?

The massive turnout is proof of Syria’s recovery, and that the regime has a well-established position and that people, contrary to what they say about them in the West and some Gulf countries, are supporters of the structure and continuation of the regime. They are opposed to chaos and the fragmentation of Syria. This scene completely contradicts all previous bets on displaced Syrians serving as a tool to vote for someone other than President Assad, and having the president removed in a democratic and constitutional manner.

It became clear to all of them that this bet was unrealistic because even in the centers outside Syria where people have been displaced, the huge turnout was in favor of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. I consider this a success and a victory at the same time for Syria’s continuity and stability in the future. Anyone looking for a solution in Syria must deal with the regime and not with America, “Israel,” and those on their side, including Daesh and others who destroyed Syria.

As for those who tried to attack some voters in Lebanon, Hezbollah issued a statement and made it clear that these people attacked others who have the right to express their opinion. Therefore, this attack is unacceptable and rejected, regardless of their arguments. Unfortunately, some feel that the aggressor has a justification because the voter passed in front of him. This justification is illogical and unreasonable. In any case, they have offended themselves with this attack and highlighted the ugly racist image that no one embraces.
