Muslim Al-Muhsin: Another Innocent Victim Beheaded in the Saudi Kingdom of Blood

Muslim Al-Muhsin: Another Innocent Victim Beheaded in the Saudi Kingdom of Blood

By Staff

Rushing to fill this year’s bloody record of beheading its own nationals, Saudi Arabia executed a citizen from the al-Awamia Neighborhood in the Shia-populated Eastern Province of Qatif on Tuesday, October 5, 2021.

The Kingdom’s Ministry of Interior identified the Saudi national as Muslim Mohammad al-Muhsin.

Al-Muhsin was brutally arrested from his workplace at al-Araf Commercial Center in the Saudi town of Awamia in the eastern province of Qatif on Monday, November 23rd, 2015.

The Saudi regime claimed that al-Muhsin “was behind the killing of Dhaifulla al-Qarashi, attempted to confront the security forces, and opened fire towards them.” During the arrest, the Saudi regime forces opened fire, shot him in his leg and arrested him, while unlike their narrative, no security personnel was harmed, even in the reports circulating by the regime’s media outlets.

Locals, however, who were present at the time of the arrest, indicated that more than 15 security personnel stormed the commercial center, moved towards al-Muhsin immediately and started beating him using batons and the bottoms of their machine guns. They even forced customers who were at the place to lie on the ground.

Without providing any evidence on the fabricated claims, the Saudi authorities neither identified were the incident took place, nor the weapon that was used by the alleged perpetrator.

Al-Muhsin was brutally tortured during his arrest, not to mention the pain he had been through as the regime arrested him without removing the bullet he sustained in his left leg during the raid. He was also deprived from the right to assign a lawyer in a grave violation of human rights, as well as local and international laws.

After several delays of the show trial sessions, the Appellate Court of the Specialized Criminal Court decided to sentence al-Muhsin to death, in yet another brutal measure of many similar Saudi regime measures consistently targeting the people of the kingdom’s Shia-populated region.

The sentence was executed after the non-proved guilty citizen had spent almost six years behind bars, where only God knows what kind of treatment he had been through.

Kingdom of Blood Thirsty Rulers: Another Saudi Detainee from Qatif Executed

Kingdom of Blood Thirsty Rulers: Another Saudi Detainee from Qatif Executed

By Staff

The Saudi regime committed yet another crime against opinion prisoners from Qatif eastern province as Adnan Mostafa al-Sharfa was pronounced executed upon a decree by the kingdom’s bloodthirsty rulers.

In allegations to justify the crime, the Saudi interior ministry claimed that al-Sharfa was smuggling weapons and attacking the security forces.

The ministry’s statement mentioned that the execution was carried out upon a royal decree.

The Saudi regime authorities seldom carries out the executions in an attempt to disguise its criminality, especially in the eyes of the western public opinion. saudi arabia executionsSaudiArabiaHumanRights

Saudi Crackdown: 521 Families Threatened With Displacement, Razing Houses in Qatif

Saudi Crackdown: 521 Families Threatened With Displacement, Razing Houses in Qatif

By Staff, Agencies

In the course of the ongoing crackdown against the kingdom’s Shia minority, the Saudi regime plans to displace hundreds of families in the Shia-majority eastern province of Qatif and raze their houses.

Nashet Qatifi, a renowned Saudi human rights activist, said in a post on his Twitter account that the Riyadh government had announced plans for the eviction of more than 521 families from Qatif within 90 days as well as the destruction of their houses in retaliation for their children’s participation in a 2011 anti-regime uprising.

Qatifi said the families had been offered a fee but did not intend to sell or move out of the area as the sum offered was not enough to buy a house.

Local sources in the Shia-majority region confirmed the Saudi plan and said the regime intended to displace hundreds of families from al-Thawra [Revolution] Street in the city center.

Reports said the goal of the Saudi regime was to erase any signs and memories of the demonstrations in 2011, especially al-Thawra Street, which had become a symbol of the revolution and protests in Qatif.

A similar incident took place in the al-Musawara neighborhood of Qatif in 2017, and many houses were destroyed by bulldozers. In November last year, Saudi officials also leveled to the ground a Shia Muslim mosque south of al-Awamia Town in Qatif.

Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province has been the scene of peaceful demonstrations since February 2011. Protesters have been demanding reforms, freedom of expression, the release of political prisoners, and an end to economic and religious discrimination against the oil-rich region.

The protests have been met with a heavy-handed crackdown by the regime, whose forces have ramped up measures across the province.

Ever since Mohammed bin Salman became Saudi Arabia’s de facto leader in 2017, the kingdom has ramped up arrests of activists, bloggers, intellectuals, and others perceived as political opponents, showing almost zero tolerance for dissent even in the face of international condemnations of the crackdown.

Muslim scholars have been executed, women’s rights campaigners have been put behind bars and tortured, and freedom of expression, association, and belief continue to be denied.

Saudi Crackdown: Unabated Arbitrary Arrests, Oppression against People of Qatif

Saudi Crackdown: Unabated Arbitrary Arrests, Oppression against People of Qatif

By Staff

Out of the blue, without any reason, the Saudi regime security personnel detained religious scholars Sheikh Abbas al-Said and Sayyed Khodo al-Awami after raiding their homes in the town of Awamiah, in Saudi Arabia’s Qatif eastern province.

According to the Deputy Chief of the European Saudi Organization for Human Rights, Adel al-Said, who is the brother of Sheikh Abbas, the two detainees have been repeatedly investigated over the past ten years. However, their arrest was probably aimed at causing fear and terror among everybody.

In parallel, the Saudi regime authorities reported that Ashura mourning reciter Mohammad Bou Jbarah was transferred to the Dammam General Prison where he is set to be tried along with eight other youths who were arrested on October 4th for filming an artwork commemorating Imam Hussein’s [AS] Arbaeen anniversary.

According to Mirat al-Jazeera website, the nine men spent three weeks inside the Dammam Investigations Prison without being allowed any visit, and families and lawyers contacts.

The website also uncovered that the Saudi regime authorities are practicing a new arbitrary policy that violates the privacy of the released detainees, in which the prison’s administration chase them with electronic bracelets they have to wear so it can spy on them. This comes as a revenge for their endurance in front of the jailer, in which the regime insists to keep them under surveillance despite achieving their freedom.

Relatively, the Saudi regime sticks to violating the human rights of the people in Qatif and al-Ahsaa without any deterrence. It is also clinging to its dark record of torturing detainees behind bars and after their release to lay more sufferings upon them and increase their psychological stress via different invented and individual methods of taking revenge and practicing oppression.

Under the Pretext of Coronavirus, Saudi Authorities Remove Ashura Flags in Qatif

Under the Pretext of Coronavirus, Saudi Authorities Remove Ashura Flags in Qatif

By Staff

As part of the continued security pressures practiced by the Saudi authorities against the people of Qatif while commemorating the Ashura mourning ceremonies, security forces removed all black Ashura flags raised in the Tarout Island graveyard.

The action represented a blatant provocation for the Ashura mourning organizers who, according to Qatif local sources speaking to al-Ahed, are subjected to unprecedented tightening under the pretext of the Coronavirus.

According to information obtained by al-Ahed, intelligence officers were granted ultimate authorities to intervene and impose their restrictions as part of the personal behavior and intervening in the details of the mourning ceremonies.

Donations made for supporting the ceremonies were totally banned. Additionally, names, contacts and civil records of the Ashura lecturers were collected by the authorities.

Local sources told al-Ahed that the authorities also prevented Ashura mourning organizers from raising the voice of mourning inside Husseiniyas and family gatherings.

The same sources added that the imposed measures were very strict and aimed at controlling all Ashura ceremonies.

Shia Muslims across the world commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of third Shia Imam Hussein bin Ali [AS] and his family members and companions who stood up to injustice and fought in the battle of Karbala in the year 61 Hijri. The ten-day commemoration begins on the first of Muharram, the first month of the Islamic year.

Saudi Executions to be Continued: 39 Shia Detainees on Death Row

Saudi Executions to be Continued: 39 Shia Detainees on Death Row
In the course of the Saudi regime’s continued crackdown against the Kingdom’s eastern province Shia population, activists warned that 39 detainees from Qatif are facing execution.
Detainees who come from the Shia-populated Qatif include 5 who are facing a final execution sentence and 8 are facing a preliminary sentence.
In further details, human rights activists urged urgent action is imperative to stop the government’s brutality following unfair mass trials, during which the detainees were tortured.
Earlier in April, the Saudi regime blatantly executed 37 Saudi youth for being opponents amid sickening international silence.
Giving empty pretexts and neglecting any talk of human rights, the Saudi interior ministry announced Tuesday the execution of 37 Saudi men.
“The death penalty was implemented… on a number of culprits for adopting extremist “terrorist” ideologies and forming “terrorist” cells to corrupt and disrupt security as well as spread chaos and provoke sectarian strife,” the state news agency said in a tweet.

In The Saudi Kingdom of Vampires, There Is A Place Called Qatif

Once upon a time, in a kingdom whose ruler is a vampire, people staying at their homes had to suffer and suffer, but they had no right to resist… otherwise, they will live unsafely forever, or perhaps not forever…
Where Mohammad bin Salman, until-the-moment Saudi Arabia’s crown prince, practices his “open-minded” regime over his own citizens, this is the case.
There is no wonder that the one who ordered the most brutal crimes over his few years in power oppresses a minority living over the Saudi soil, and holding a Saudi citizenship, just because they belong to a sect he cannot tolerate.
Others-intolerance is just one of the problems with the guy. The young ruler has killed, massacred and caused injuries among thousands of Yemenis, and is still killing them slowly with the blockade and military campaign on the impoverished country, leaving their children short of food and essential medical supply, among the many other forms of suffering.
He also caused the increase in unemployment rate in the supposedly oil-rich country, leaving scores of people begging for food, while he and the royals enjoy an overstated luxurious lifestyle.
Furthermore, he mastered the policy of silencing any person who voices opposition, criticizes, or even calls for reforms.
The latest example of them all, and perhaps the most savage, is ordering the murder of chopping Saudi critic Jamal Khashoggi in a bone-saw machine while he was alive.
So he won’t skip the Kingdom’s Shia-populated Qatif eastern province as a spot that may help ease his psychological disorders.
On Wednesday, October 17, 2018, Saudi forces blockaded Qatif, raiding a number of neighborhoods and using live rounds and stun grenades against civilians.
The Saudi regime forces stormed the area under the pretext of chasing some wanted activists.
The attack resulted in the martyrdom of a man, injuries among other, with the injury of young lady confirmed, not to mention that many family members of the raided homes were detained during the offensive. Additionally, a residential apartment was burned due to the shelling.
The injured lady was reportedly shot as bullets ripped through the walls of her apartment.
Saudi forces used RPGs and heavy weapons against the areas’ unarmed civilians.
They also surrounded the place with armored vehicles in which they thought they can ban those wanted from fleeing the area.
Also a month earlier, three martyrs were raised as a result of similar raids targeting Saudi dissidents.
Qatif has been the epicenter of reform-demanding protests since 2011, and this is the reason why it has since been a target of the regime’s military campaign.
Until the day Saudi Arabia may be managed by a rational ruler, the people of Qatif will keep dreaming of the day in which they will live safe at their homes, but until then, and before all, they will keep defending their dignified being against any attempt to silence their activism.
