At least 16 people, including children, killed in Saudi-led strikes in Yemen’s southwestern province of Taiz, a report says, as Saudi Arabia keeps bombing the southern impoverished neighbor in defiance of international calls to end its bloody war.
The deadly aggression occurred on Friday evening, when Saudi-led warplanes targeted a gathering of civilians in Muqbana district of the province, Yemen’s Arabic-language al-Masirah television network reported.
It added that continued presence of the enemy warplanes in the skies of Muqbana and the possibility of other strikes prevented the paramedics to reach the crime scene to exhume the bodies of the victims and attending the wounded.
The airstrikes came as the Saudi-led forces and its mercenaries have escalated their aggression in the western coastal region of Yemen.
Saudi Arabia, backed by the US and other key Western powers, launched the war on Yemen in March 2015, with the goal of bringing the former Riyadh-backed regime back to power and crushing the popular Ansarullah resistance movement which has been running state affairs in the absence of an effective government in Yemen.
The war has stopped well shy of all of its goals, despite killing tens of thousands of Yemenis and displacing millions more. The war has also taken a heavy toll on the country’s infrastructure, destroying hospitals, schools, and factories.
An all-out blockade was also imposed on Yemen since the onset of the bloody war, pushing Yemen into the world’s worst humanitarian crisis, including by hampering access to aid.
Despite heavily-armed Saudi Arabia’s continuous bombardment of the impoverished country, Yemeni armed forces and the Popular Committees have grown steadily in strength against the Saudi invaders and left Riyadh and its allies bogged down in the country.
Since some of you may have come across me in recent years/months/weeks…I’m sharing my “about” section, filled with links to my journalism & activism from 2007 on, in occupied Palestine, Syria, Venezuela, the Donbass and elsewhere.

Multiple reports from northeast Syria confirmed that the US troops, aka Biden oil thieves, removed 270 vehicles from their illegal bases in Syria toward the Iraqi borders shortly after midnight yesterday.
The largest movement of US troops and their proxies to move either way since the US intervened directly on the side of ISIS, Nusra Front, and a host of terrorist groups against the Syrian people and the Syrian armed forces, the convoy of 150 lorries, 120 covered trailers carrying US tanks moved from the US illegal military base in the Kharb Al Jir airport in the northeastern countryside of Hasakah moving toward Iraq through the illegal Al-Waleed border crossing.
Armored vehicles and 4×4 machine gun-mounted pickup trucks manned by the US-sponsored Kurdish SDF separatist terrorists accompanied the US convoy to guard it.
One of the reports, however, said that some of those vehicles belong to the Kurdish SDF terrorists, we couldn’t confirm from independent sources, the Kurdish SDF terrorists do not use that number of tanks, in general.
We were waiting on this report trying to understand whether this was a redeployment of troops by the Biden regime, especially that a couple of days earlier, a large convoy of US vehicles were smuggled by the Biden forces to their illegal military base in the Al Tanf area, in the southeast of Syria.
Let’s hope that some wise people in the US junta finally came to their senses and drew the lessons from their list of failures in all the wars and interventions they fought that only led to millions of deaths, sufferings, destruction among the peoples the US attacked in addition to tens of thousands of US troops killed, maimed, and unaccounted for, on top of an enormous public debt that was started from these wars and spiraled uncontrollably speeding to reach 30 trillion US dollars, that’s 30 thousand thousand million US dollars, in other words, 30 million million US dollars, or say 30 thousand thousand thousand thousand US dollars (yes, 4 times multiples of thousand).
In case you didn’t notice, this is the debt, not counting the annual spendings by the Pentagon, CIA, US Embassies that work in regime change and spying plots, basically, each US embassy around the world, which are already paid up from the budget directly ever since the US started waging wars for nobody’s benefits.
Justifications parrotted by ‘analysts’ and ‘pundits’ that the US is withdrawing from the Middle East to focus on China and the South China Sea is ludicrous, the US is an ending empire and ending rapidly; if it had any strength or even will for a standoff or war with China, it was directly on the Chinese borders in Afghanistan for 2 full decades, the US forces in Afghanistan were blocking the Chinese land connection to the Middle East and through it to Europe and the whole of Africa, if you want to wage a war against someone you try to encircle them, you don’t open for them more paths to extend their strengths.
The only matter that keeps the US forces in our region is to serve as cannon fodders and human shields and for the vast US investment in wars against Syria, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Iran, and elsewhere in the region is to secure Israel, and even that is very shaky now; and the USA itself is on the verge of imploding from the inside and on all levels.
Voluntarily removing the troops from Syria is a wise decision, the latest confrontation between the Iranian IRGC Navy and the US’s strongest navy fleet the 5th Fleet in the Sea of Oman demonstrated the lack of willingness for further confrontations, the US itself, its Turkish ally, its Israeli protectorate, its Saudi and other Gulfies proxies cannot afford any new confrontation, forget the rosy pictures painted on their mainstream media, figures, actions, and reactions talk loudly and profoundly.

This week the elites from large parts of the world were gathered in Glasgow, Scotland for the COP 26 UN Climate Change Conference, mainly Western leaders, MainStream Media (MSM) journalists and CEOs were present. Joe Biden was in Rome, for the G20 meeting and a meeting with Pope Francis, he drove around with his 85-car motorcade (petrol or diesel).
The “War on Terror” is over, not officially mentioned of course, because there is still a lot at stake for the US and its allies in the occupied countries. As I mentioned before, the (mainly Western) elite’s are in need of cobalt and lithium for their “Green New Deal” dreams. Cobalt is to be found in huge amounts in Congo, at war since many years, famous for the plundering of blood diamonds, by Western countries, also in Angola, Sierra Leone, but the most diamonds were found in Congo. Big US and Israeli companies were present, to dig for the diamonds, over decades and Congolese people used in the mines, as slaves. The (for a large group of US citizens illegal) president of the US Joe Biden, promised the president of Congo during the G20 meeting in Rome, millions of Astrazeneca vaccines (not wanted in the US and EU because of too many side effects). I wonder what the US gets in return? Most likely cobalt, the president of Congo ,was invited to come to the G20 top, with a reason. The “War on Terror” was first conducted in Afghanistan, with the false excuse for revenge, the attack on the World Trade Centre in New York, 2001, which was conducted by Saudi Arabian citizens, so Afghanistan had nothing to do with it and many claim, the whole attack was a PSYOP, by the US government and Israeli Secret Service Mossad. Afghanistan possesses a wealth of nonfuel minerals whose value has been estimated at more than US $1 trillion. Afghanistan is renowned for its gemstones – rubies, emeralds, tourmalines and lapis lazuli. But more value, however, lies with the country’s endowments of iron, copper, lithium, rare earth elements, cobalt, bauxite, mercury, uranium and chromium. The Green new deal needs lithium and cobalt for electrical cars and other appliances for their “Green” neutral climate plans.
The main goals for wars in the past and still are: destruction, depopulation rebuilding the destroyed countries after destruction, putting in place a “puppet-regime” and stealing the resources of the countries. That was the strategy until 2020, then the new UN Agenda 2030 had to be implemented, the robbery and stealing are up to then done with conventional weapons Now we will see PSYOPS and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to implement wars on countries or people who will not comply with Agenda 2030. Don’t think the elite’s want to create a “better”social just world, no as it turns out last year, they just got richer and richer. The seventeen goals of Agenda 2030 sound very good, but don’t be deceived, the whole Western world (and the rest, but mainly destroyed by wars already) has to be destroyed, the whole way of living, of earning money and freedom of choice must go, a new “dreamed” one-world government has to be installed with the help of AI and PSYOPs, like perhaps the COVID-19 crisis.
They are in the process of implementing agenda 2030 , they started the agenda with a PSYOP, the Covid-19 crisis. I, like many others, first thought it was a Biological warfare weapon or a leak from the Wuhan laboratory, whether it came from the US or China, was not known. But now the US and China declared that the origins of COVID-19 are unknown, that’s the least to say suspicious so it could be a PSYOP to frighten the people around the world so they can push their 2030 Agenda, otherwise many people (they do now already in many countries ) will protest. The COVID-19 virus has similarities with a very bad flu. Flu miraculously disappeared in 2020. As I mentioned many times before, the SARS COV virus was raging in 2003 till now in the Middle East, the countries who were hit by war, like Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan and Syria. The U.S Central Command confirmed that over 5000 rounds of Depleted Uranium ammunition (DU) were fired during an air raid against ISIS in November 2015. It directly conflicted with the promises made by US officials not to use such armaments during the military operations in Syria. These countries I mentioned were bombed by the army of the US and its Western allies using depleted Uranium, which makes people very sick, as I experienced myself in Syria, but got over it. Also, we can see that during this PSYOP, developed countries are implementing their own Social Credit System, they blame China, but the EU and many countries in the Western world are doing exactly the same, it’s used to manipulate and control the population, steal money and unplug you if you don’t comply. The Green Pass (let it sink in the word Green) is the beginning of this total control system.
The World Burns
As I mentioned above, Western countries robbed and destroyed many countries around the world. Congo and other African countries for blood diamonds, the Middle-East for oil, the far east for spices. It’s mainly the Western EU countries who have destroyed the world for decades, the British and Dutch empires are two very good examples, also France, Spain and Portugal did very bad things. But it’s not the population of these countries, they were sent to Australia and New Zealand to work in penal colonies. No it’s the elite, the same elite’s who are still ruling the Western World, the same Kingdom’s, political parties, who are centuries old, they are the perpetrators, together with multinationals and deep-state, they are now stealing and punishing their own population for the crimes they commited and still commit, for as they say to change the world in a more green and better place, how ironic! The world burns in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Libya, Mali, Lebanon. Palestinians have been deprived of land and rights since 1948, Congo and other African countries are being robbed. All due to the power hungry greedy Western leaders, multinationals, banks, extravagant Kingdoms, spending millions of money on useless visits, dresses they are what we call part of the deep-state. People got murdered in endless wars, deprived of basic living conditions, like food and healthcare. Sanctions have been put in place by the same Western countries, who want to implement their Green new deal, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Palestine, Lebanon and Afghanistan are still suffering under sanctions and people are dying from hunger and malnutrition, electricity a luxury and bad to no internet, due to power cuts, a mockery and big lie. Think of all the depleted Uranium they used the last decades, which is still present, buried in the soil in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria and many other countries, they never bothered to clean it up. The world needs real democracy, reduction of poverty, removal of existing empires, judge the warmongers, and a just system for all, then people will look after mother nature and cherish the earth, the elites destroyed it and will do continue to do so, if they are not removed on the cost of the people of the earth.

حطّ المبعوث الأميركي إلى اليمن، تيم ليندركينغ، مجدّداً، في المنطقة، حاملاً مبادرة تستهدف، على ما يبدو، استدراك التطوّرات الميدانية المتسارعة في محيط مدينة مأرب، وهو ما أدلى به صراحة بحديثه عن «الحاجة الملحّة إلى خفض التصعيد» هناك. والظاهر أن ليندركينغ، الذي تُظلّل جولته نصائح خبراء أميركيين بالعمل على محاصرة الخسائر بدلاً من السعي خلف «معجزة» لن تَتحقّق، سيحاول إقناع السعودية بتلبية جانب من مطالب «أنصار الله» أملاً في دفْع الأخيرة إلى وقْف هجومها. لكن إلى أن يتمكّن المبعوث الأميركي من إنجاز مهمّته، تتسارع المفاوضات بين قبائل مأرب وقيادة صنعاء، وسط أنباء عن تحقيقها تقدّماً كبيراً، وهو ما قد يفوّت الفرصة الأخيرة على كلّ من الرياض وواشنطن وحلفائهما المحليين
على رغم توالي سقوط المواقع والحاميات في محيط مدينة مأرب بيد قوات صنعاء، إلّا أن الجانب السعودي لا يزال يضع رهانه على حرب استنزاف طويلة الأمد ضدّ الجيش اليمني و«اللجان الشعبية»، أملاً في منعهما من السيطرة على المدينة. ولذا، فهو يعاكس رغبة السكان في تسليم مناطقهم من دون قتال، ويحثّ القوات الموالية له على تعزيز خطّ الدفاع الأخير عن مركز المحافظة، عبر حفر الخنادق ونصْب المتاريس وزرع الألغام الأرضية. وعلى خطّ موازٍ لذلك، بدأت الولايات المتحدة تحرّكاً متجدّداً، بهدف قطع الطريق على قوّات صنعاء لاستعادة ما تبقّى من المحافظة. وفي هذا الإطار، تأتي زيارة المبعوث الأميركي تيم ليندركينغ، الجديدة إلى المنطقة، حيث يحمل في جعبته مبادرة يُرجّح أن تكون السعودية قد وافقت عليها، خصوصاً أن الأيام الماضية شهدت مشاورات مكثّفة بين ليندركينغ ومسؤولين آخرين في وزارة الخارجية الأميركية من جهة، وسفيرَي السعودية في اليمن وواشنطن (محمد آل جابر، وريما بنت بندر بن سلطان) من جهة أخرى.
وفيما ذكر الحساب الرسمي للخارجية الأميركية على «تويتر» أن مهمّة المبعوث الجديدة ستُركّز على مناقشة مسألة واردات الوقود عبر ميناء الحديدة، واستئناف الرحلات الجوية عبر مطار صنعاء، في إشارة واضحة إلى رفع الحصار، نصح العديد من الخبراء العسكريّين الأميركيّين حكومتهم بعدم تجاهل المعطيات الجديدة على الأرض، معتبرين أنه يمكن تلافي العواقب الخطيرة لاستمرار المعارك باتّفاق سلام يلبّي شروط حركة «أنصار الله» أو أكبر قدر ممكن منها. ومن بين هؤلاء الخبراء، المتخصّص في الاستراتيجيات العسكرية، آرون ميلير، الذي أوصى الإدارة الأميركية بالدفْع باتفاق سلام يوقف المعارك في مأرب لانعدام الخيارات البديلة، وفق ما سمّاه «تغيّر معطيات مسرح المعارك». واعترف ميلير بأن إيقاف تقدّم قوات صنعاء باتجاه المدينة «بات مستحيلاً من الناحية العسكرية، ونحتاج إلى معجزة حتى نوقف الهجوم»، معتبراً أن «أقصر الطرق لإيقافهم هو القبول باتفاق سلام يراعي شروطهم». ورأى ميلير أن استمرار المعارك «يصبّ في مصلحة المهاجمين وليس المدافعين، والضربات الجوية لطيران التحالف لم تَعُد في هذه المرحلة مجدية بسبب تغيّر التضاريس الميدانية بشكل متتالٍ والالتحام المباشر لمقاتلي قوات صنعاء والقوات الحكومية»، لافتاً إلى أن الجيش و«اللجان» «لديهما خطوط إمداد أفضل».
ينصح خبراء عسكريون الإدارة الأميركية بالدفْع باتفاق سلام يوقف المعارك لانعدام الخيارات البديلة
إلّا أنه من غير المعلوم حتى الآن مدى استعداد السعودية لقبول تسوية من هذا النوع. إذ طوال فترة الحرب، لم تستطع المملكة مغادرة الشروط الإلغائية ومنطق الغلبة والفوز. وعلى رغم فقدانها الكثير من الأوراق، إن لم يكن معظمها، على مرّ سنوات الحرب، سواءً لناحية الخريطة الميدانية أو المزاج العالمي، إلّا أن الرياض بقيت أسيرة المربّع الأوّل. وقد كانت التسوية الوحيدة التي قبلت بها «اتفاقية استوكهولم» بخصوص مدينة الحديدة عام 2018، والتي فرضتها الضغوط الدولية على ولي العهد، محمد بن سلمان، على إثر الضجة العالمية الناتجة من قتل الصحافي جمال خاشقجي. ومع أن قيادة صنعاء عادت وقدّمت، الصيف الماضي، مبادرة بشأن مأرب للوفد العُماني الذي زار العاصمة اليمنية آنذاك، إلّا أن الرياض لم تكلّف نفسها عناء الردّ على المبادرة. بل عمدت، بدلاً من ذلك، إلى إمداد الجبهة بالمزيد من الذخائر المتوسّطة والثقيلة، واتّخاذ إجراء احتياطي تمثّل في سحب السلاح النوعي خوفاً من وقوعه بيد قوات صنعاء، فضلاً عن تكثيف إصدار البيانات المفخّمة حول القدرة على تحقيق الانتصار. على أيّ حال، وإلى أن تُعرَف تفاصيل المبادرة الأميركية الجديدة، يستمرّ مسؤولو ما يسمّى «الشرعية»، وبعض الأحزاب المحسوبة على التحالف السعودي – الإماراتي، بدفْعٍ من الرياض، في التحريض على تأخير تسليم مدينة مأرب ومديرية الوادي لقوات صنعاء، خصوصاً بعدما انضمّت قبيلة عبيدة، ثاني أكبر قبيلة في المحافظة بعد قبيلة مراد والمتركّز تواجدها في الوادي، إلى طاولة المفاوضات، التي تتوالى الأنباء عن تحقيق تقدّم ملحوظ فيها منذ ليل أول من أمس. وفي هذا الإطار، يحاول مسؤولو حكومة هادي التقليل من أهمية تراجع قواتهم، مدّعين أن خيارات الجيش و«اللجان» محدودة، ما بين الاتّجاه عبر الصحراء نحو منطقة حقول الغاز والنفط شرق مأرب، حيث سيكونان فريسة لمقاتلات «التحالف»، وما بين تطويق مدينة مأرب من جهات ثلاث، وهو المرجّح بالنسبة إليهم. والظاهر أن هذه التصريحات تأتي ردّاً على البيان الذي أصدرته يوم الاثنين الماضي، الأحزاب المنخرطة في القتال إلى جانب السعودية، وعلى رأسها «الإصلاح»، والذي فُهِم على أنه اعتراف مسبق بالهزيمة، ورسالة إبراء ذمّة إلى كلّ من «التحالف» و«الشرعية»، علماً أن البيان المذكور حمّل مسؤولية الهزيمة لـ«سوء إدارة التحالف العربي للمعركة»، واتهم حكومة هادي بـ«الخذلان والفساد».

While the U.S. military occupies a third of Syria — mostly in the northeast, controlling Syria’s vast oil reserves and water supplies — Syria continues to rebuild after nearly a decade of destabilization efforts by the U.S. and its proxies, who have armed rebel groups with the intention of stoking a civil war and toppling President Bashar al-Assad.
Today, the city of Daraa, which has been referred to as the cradle of the Syrian revolution, has been liberated by the Syrian Army. But, as MintPress reported nearly a decade ago, Daraa was the touchpaper lit by hardline Libyan mercenaries imported into Syria prior to 2011. These mercenaries were trained by the CIA and MI6, alongside Saudi intelligence, to hijack a small movement for economic reforms and turn it into an armed rebellion to fulfill foreign interests in the region.

Yemeni forces and allied fighters from Popular Committees have captured a key military base occupied by Saudi militants loyal to former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi in the country’s strategic oil-rich province of Marib, and moved closer to the heart of energy reserves in the area.
Local military sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, said army troops and their allies launched intense attacks in the al-Jubah district of Marib, and managed to seize Umm Reesh base following hours of fighting with Saudi mercenaries on Friday.
The sources added that the Yemeni forces raided the military base from various directions, and forced the Saudi-backed militants to withdraw from the area.
They noted that the base includes training centers, and it is the last bastion for Saudi-sponsored forces in the southern part of Marib.
The sources went on to say that the withdrawal of Saudi mercenaries from Um Reesh base came after the Yemeni army soldiers and Popular Committees fighters targeted the military site with ballistic missiles and heavy artillery rounds.
The fall of Umm Reesh means quickened the advance of Yemeni army forces and their allies towards Safar region, where oil and gas fields of Marib province are located.
The Yemeni military sources highlighted that fierce clashes between the two sides continue in several highlands overlooking al-Khashina base. Neither side has managed to score any field progress yet.
A high-ranking member of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council has denounced the United States over approving a 650-million-dollar sale of air-to-air missiles to Saudi Arabia.
Mohammed Ali al-Houthi stated that the major weapons deal with the Gulf kingdom shows that the administration of President Joe Biden is not committed at all to Yemen peace, and in contrast supports the Saudi war on the impoverished Arab country.
He stressed in a post published on his Twitter page that the deal clearly shows Washington’s lack of seriousness and credibility to stop the ongoing devastating onslaught against Yemen, and will adversely prolong starvation and suffering of the Yemeni nation.
In a statement on Thursday, the Pentagon said the US State Department had approved the sale of air-to-air missiles to Riyadh.
It added that Massachusetts-based firm Raytheon would be the “principal contractor” for the sale of AIM-120C-7/C-8 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles [AMRAAM] and related equipment.
The sale comes months after Biden said he would end US support for Saudi Arabia’s “offensive operations” in Yemen, including “relevant arms sales.”
Saudi Arabia, backed by the US and regional allies, launched the war on Yemen in March 2015, with the goal of bringing the Hadi government back to power and crushing Ansarullah. The war has left hundreds of thousands of Yemenis martyred, and displaced millions more. It has also destroyed Yemen’s infrastructure and spread famine and infectious diseases.
Yemeni armed forces and the Popular Committees have grown steadily in strength against the Saudi-led invaders, and left Riyadh and its allies bogged down in the country.
The Iraqi people’s objective of regaining their sovereignty from the US occupation will be reached only through gun barrels, said Iraqi resistance group Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba Secretary General Sheikh Akram al-Kaabi.
“The Iraqi nation’s decision to restore their sovereignty will be implemented only through the barrels of a gun whose roaring sound will save Iraq from the clutches of the occupier,” al-Kaabi said in a statement published via his Twitter account.
The Iraqi resistance commander also noted that the occupiers have looted Iraq’s resources and blatantly interfered in the country’s affairs to foment unrest.
Condemning the continued US occupation of Iraq, he stressed that despite the Iraqi government’s declaration of a deadline for American forces to leave Iraq in late December of the current year, nothing has happened toward that end.
Back in July, US President Joe Biden and Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi declared that the US mission in Iraq will transition from combat to “advisory” role by the end of the year.
“The delegations decided, following recent technical talks, that the security relationship will fully transition to a training, advising, assisting, and intelligence-sharing role, and that there will be no US forces with a combat role in Iraq by December 31, 2021,” Baghdad and Washington said in a joint statement on July 26.
The agreement, which has effectively given a mere new name to the US military occupation in Iraq, has enraged Iraqi resistance groups, which have played a significant role in defeating Daesh [the Arabic acronym for terrorist ‘ISIS/ISIL’ group] in Iraq in 2017.
“The evil US government, through its bullying, arrogance, and disrespect, continues to oppose the decision of the Iraqi people, and demonstrations by millions of [Iraqi] people [are] to expel all foreign forces from the country,” al-Kaabi said.
“The information we receive shows us that the occupying forces have changed some of their illegal routes to enter Iraq,” he said, explaining that they enter Iraq en masse through airliners from Egypt.
The Nujaba SG also said some of the US’ defeated forces in Afghanistan have been already transferred to Iraq.
“This means that the political negotiations with the evil United States have once again proved to be a failure,” he added.
Iraqi resistance groups have persistently demanded the withdrawal of all American forces from the Arab country over their destabilizing activities.
The demand is in line with a law adopted by the parliament in January 2020 in the aftermath of the US military’s assassination of two key commanders of the fight against Daesh, namely Iranian General Qassem Soleimani and Iraq’s Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, in Baghdad on January 3 of that year.
