Syria: Zionist Mobilization Kicks Into High Gear

Al-Jumhuriyyah al-Arabiyyah
as-Suriyyah, the Syrian
Arab Republic, is under
internal assault from
Zionist destabilization forces.
by Jonathan Azaziah

Editor's Note: WARNING - Photos and hyperlinks in the 'conclusion' section of this essay are of extremely graphic nature. They have been included in this piece due to their unequivocal importance to the overall view of what is taking place in Syria.

The hasbara (propaganda) that is spread throughout the Zionist-owned mainstream media is identical in nature to a house of cards. No matter how imposing the house may be, remove one card from the structure, and it shall immediately collapse in an almost glorious fashion. It is due to its foundation; its towering essence is overshadowed by its flimsiness. The Zionist media imposes its hasbara in terrorizing fashion; like the usurping Israeli entity’s bombs falling upon illegally besieged Gaza or Lebanon, the hasbara enters the psyche as an F-16 bombardment. But unlike the bombs, which are so unstoppably and menacingly destructive, the hasbara is weaker than the web of a spider coming in contact with a machete. Remove just one element, one detail from a news story laced with hasbara, like the house of cards, the aforesaid story will crash to the ground, broken and dismembered.

This house of cards is what has been built upon the events unfolding in Syria, where President Bashar al-Assad is facing an uprising not seen since his father’s days. The Zionist media, in partnership with ‘Arab’ media giant Al-Jazeera, painted a rosy picture of heroic, peaceful demonstrators rising up against the dictatorship that has ruled their nation repressively for more than four decades. But that is all that it is, a picture; a story not rooted in reality or fact. Al-Jazeera has finally admitted, that the opposition has lied and exaggerated about casualties and protest numbers (1), to ‘further its cause,’ of course, in typical hasbara fasion, but this small admission, this small card removed from the frame, brings the house of cards crashing down.

Al-Jazeera’s admission only gives further credence to what has already been exposed: the Zionist entity and the House of Saud, allied with the US, Turkey and Jordan, have launched a full-scale destabilization operation against Bashar al-Assad and his government. Mobilizing its forces from certain ‘hotspots,’ or joint operations rooms, the Zionist-Saudi axis has used its agents ex-Syrian VP Abdel-Halim Khaddam, AIPAC member Farid al-Ghadry, Brookings Institution Fellow Ammar AbdulHamid, State Dept giant Jeffrey Feltman and multiple Syrian Muslim Brotherhood leaders to fund, incite, train, guide, organize and direct its agents within Syria to drive the Assad leadership into the ground in hopes of replacing it with an anti-Iran, anti-Hezbollah regime subservient to the Zionist-Saudi axis. With weapons being provided by Jordan and armed operations initiated by Zionist agent Muthanna al-Dhari, Syria has been plunged into chaos (2). Feltman’s role is crucial, as he developed the final phase of this plot with Saudi National Security Advisor ‘Prince’ Bandar bin Sultan, spending $2 billion in the process (3).

The Zionist entity’s hopes of prolonging the ‘kiss of democratic death’ destablization operation and weakening Syria, prior to invading it, destroying it and colonizing it as it did with 13 years of sanctions against (occupied) Iraq, seem to have died down. It seems the next phase has already arrived. Events in the last week have spun out of control at lightning speed and Zionist mobilization has kicked into high gear.
Amnesty International,
tool of Zionist-globalist
hegemonic dominance,
has falsely accused
Syria of 'crimes against
humanity.'

Syrian Crimes Against Humanity: Fact or Pretext For Invasion?

Amnesty International (AI) has a long, disturbing history of collaborating with globalist powers to foment illegal wars and conquer indigenous resources and territory. A corporate member of the Chatham House and bankrolled by Zionist billionaire war criminal George Soros, AI is a ruthless organization that has fooled a great deal of people due to the mask of ‘human rights’ that it parades around in. Most infamously, in the ‘incubator babies’ scandal, it represented an integral wing of the Zionist operation against Iraq just prior to the criminal Gulf War, disseminating horrific propaganda across the globe, portraying Iraqis as animals and baby killers to justify the invasion. The story was revealed to be false on absolutely every level, but AI’s mission had already been accomplished: the Zionist war against Iraq had begun. Over the years, AI has directed mountains of hasbara against Syria, specifically towards Bashar al-Assad’s father, the late Hafez al-Assad (4).

On June 6th 2011, Amnesty International accused the Syrian government, under the direction of Bashar al-Assad and his top officials, of committing crimes against humanity in the town of Tell Kalakh. AI stated that ‘scores of men’ were arbitrarily arrested, tortured and at least 9 had died in custody. Seemingly infuriated, AI thundered in its report that the Syrian regime would respond to nothing but ‘concrete international measures.’ The report was a call to the UN Security Council and International Criminal Court to take action against Bashar al-Assad. A very gripping account indeed; one that pulls right at the heart strings in a whirlwind of emotion. A civilian population under siege at the hands of a monstrous dictator and his security apparatus. But a problem exists within this account; a very prominent, drastic problem. AI obtained all of the information from ‘eyewitnesses’ in Lebanon in addition to telephone conversations (5).

First and foremost, how can ‘crimes against humanity’ accusations be made without any physical evidence provided? Secondly, how can an ‘independent’ NGO have such power that it can demand action to be taken against the nation it is accusing of such crimes from the highest international bodies on earth and be taken seriously? Thirdly, with Amnesty International’s track record of fabricating ‘humanitarian crises’ for the benefit of Zionist hegemony, how can such accusations even be considered credible?

Soldiers shot dead and
wounded by Zionist-Saudi-backed
'protesters' in the Syrian town
of Tell Kalakh; not reported by
Amnesty International.
Fourthly, if villagers are armed and firing on soldiers and policemen, they are not civilians; ‘eyewitnesses’ be damned. And if they’re not civilians, ‘crimes against humanity’ are out of the question. On that note, why hasn’t AI reported on the hundreds of Syrian security forces shot dead across Syria by armed Syrian Muslim Brotherhood fighters (6)? Specifically, why hasn’t AI reported on the Syrian security forces shot dead in Tell Kalakh? At least 2 were killed and more than 7 were badly wounded (7). This crucial piece of evidence simply reaffirms that these are not peaceful protesters but gunmen. It reaffirms that what is unfolding in Syria is not a ‘peaceful uprising’ but an armed insurrection. And it reaffirms, that AI’s ‘crimes against humanity’ accusations against Syria are monstrously false.

With that said, who are these so-called ‘eyewitnesses’ that AI met in Lebanon? And why were the meetings held in Lebanon? Why not Cyprus, Greece, Turkey, the Zionist regime itself or any other neighboring entity? Were these ‘eyewitnesses’ provided to AI? If so, by whom? The reason why these particular questions are so vital, is because former Lebanese Prime Minister Sa’ad Hariri’s Future Movement has worked closely with Zionist Near East Affairs asset Jeffrey Feltman and US Ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro in organizing the press campaign against Syria (8), shaping public opinion in the region, and it would by no means be out of the ordinary if AI’s ‘Lebanese sources’ were provided by the Feltman-Hariri-Shapiro coordination, considering AI’s history of collaborating with Zionism and the role being played in Syria by the aforementioned three men.

Yet again, Amnesty International has been exposed manipulating and fabricating information to justify a take-down of what the Israeli entity and its allies commonly refer to as a ‘hostile environment.’ Yet again, Amnesty International shows that its true colors are not its typical yellow, but Israeli blue and white.

The US Ambassador to Syria was
recently in the Syrian town of
Hama with his French
counterpart, doing the
dirty work of Zionism.
Arrival of The Ambassadors: Incitement and Subversion

Just two days after Amnesty International submitted its (now-debunked) ludicrous claims of Syria committing crimes against humanity in Tell Kalakh, the US and French Ambassadors to Syria made an unauthorized trip to Hama, a stronghold of the Zionist-Saudi axis’ operations against the Bashar al-Assad government. The US State Department called the visit a ‘show of solidarity with the protesters.’ And the solidarity was reciprocated. ‘Protesters’ disgustingly placed olive branches and roses on the vehicles transporting the Western ambassadors as they chanted ‘down with the regime!’ The perturbed Syrian Foreign Ministry, rightfully, blasted the unauthorized visit as incitement. Also, it is not a coincidence that enemies of Al-Jumhuriyyah al-Arabiyyah as-Suriyyah would travel to an anti-government hub as the government prepared to hold a national dialogue and end the nightmarish unrest in the country (9).

There is another element that the US State Department did not reveal to the public. An element behind the curtain, behind the 'solidarity.' The primary reason why US Ambassador to Syria Robert Ford traveled to Hama was to deliver tapping devices to the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood-dominated opposition. The devices were meant to capture images of their protests to later be amplified prior to airing them with the international Zionist media. The devices were also meant to spy on Syrian security forces, including the army and police in anti-Assad areas. While Syrian security forces dismantled a good deal of these apparatuses, many of them still exist in the Saudi-Zionist-backed opposition’s strongholds (10).

US Ambassador
to Syria,
Robert Ford.
This is simply another example of foreign powers meddling in the internal affairs of Syria to accomplish the mission of toppling Bashar al-Assad and replacing him with a puppet that will happily bow before the international dominance of Zionism. It is excessively important to document that this batch of incitement, while blatant, is nothing but the proverbial tip of the iceberg. Weapons, monies, intelligence and military support have been provided to the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood and its offshoots by the Zionist-occupied governments in the EU, US and Jordan to drown out the cries of the peaceful reformists who have been fully acknowledged by the Assad leadership (11).

The Ambassadors’ incitement and delivery of materials represents the culmination of more than 3 months of destabilization at the Zionist-led coalition’s hands; an overt act of subversion on top of all of the various covert operations. This infuriated the Syrian people, who have marched in the millions over the last few months in support of the Bashar al-Assad’s Resistance government (12). Their fury was expressed in the streets as hundreds marched to the US and French embassies in Damascus. Protesters broke the embassies’ windows and thunderously chanted against the Western regimes’ meddling (13).

Hillary Clinton,
seen here bowing before
AIPAC, says that
Bashar al-Assad has
'lost legitimacy.'
In the aftermath, avid Zionist and murderous war criminal Hillary Clinton responded to the rage of the Syrian people and sharpened her sword of rhetoric. She explicitly stated, “He (Bashar al-Assad) has lost legitimacy, he has failed to deliver on the promises he's made, he has sought and accepted aid from the Iranians as to how to repress his own people. He is not indispensable (14).” The arrogance of Clinton is nauseating; as if she and her government, who take their orders from the Zionist regime that has stolen al-Quds, have the right to dictate who will or who will not lead Syria; as if the majority of the Syrian people who support the Assad government and its Resistance don’t exist.

If the elements of the ‘Syrian Revolution’ that are calling for Bashar al-Assad’s ouster were actually indigenous, legitimate, honest, ‘pro-democracy’ protesters and not a militia-type force that is being armed and directed by an axis of foreign powers led by the Zionist entity and Saudi Arabia, why did they welcome the US and French Ambassadors to Syria with roses? Why would those who claim to represent the typical Resistance-based mindset that the righteous, dignified and strong Syrian people tend to have, show solidarity with nations that are enemies of Syria and are actively pursuing its downfall? And knowing that Syria has been a target perpetually locked in the crosshairs of Zionism and its allies, why would these ‘protesters’ pander to such powers? The answers to these questions are of course, rhetorical.

President Barack Obama, who has served the Zionist entity so well since being placed into office he has had an illegal settlement named after him (15), echoed the words of Hillary Clinton on July 13th as Western governments work closely to fight Russian and Chinese blocks and pass a resolution in the UN to take action against Syria (16). Though it would be an utterly devastating scenario for the Syrian people, it seems that another ‘humanitarian’ invasion is right around the corner.

Zionist asset
Bernard-Henri Lévy
helped bring about a
campaign of destruction
in Libya and is now
looking to produce
the same result in Syria.
Bernard-Henri Lévy: Globetrotting Zionist Asset

The French ‘intellectual and philosopher’ Bernard-Henri Lévy is no stranger to anti-Zionist writers and solidarity activists. He is known from one end of the globe to the next for infamously and disgracefully stating, “I have never seen such a democratic army (IOF), which asks itself so many moral questions (17).” Needless to say, Lévy is an ardent Zionist who is wholeheartedly dedicated to defending the criminal existence of the Israeli ‘state.’

Most recently, Lévy has been seen in Libya, playing an exceedingly prominent role, if not the most prominent role of all, in getting the West ‘involved’ in the murderous bombing of the oil-rich North African nation. Lévy single-handedly secured meetings for the CIA-proxy Libyan rebels with Zionist French President Nicolas Sarkozy and Hillary Clinton. He warned Sarkozy that if the West didn’t intervene, there would be a ‘bloodbath in Benghazi,’ Libya’s second largest city (18).

Thanks to the efforts of Lévy and the Zionists of the Foreign Policy Initiative who ordered President Obama to attack Libya (19), there isn’t just a bloodbath in Benghazi but a bloodbath across Libya. The NATO coalition led by the US, France and Britain has murdered at least 1,108 Libyan civilians and wounded over 4,537 others since the genocidal, colonial effort began at the end of March (20). Lévy, who is very good friends with mass murderer and Zionist war criminal (Israeli Prime Minister) Benjamin Netanyahu, conveyed to his friend that the Libyan rebels are ready to recognize the Zionist entity as a legitimate state and that they will be ‘concerned with Israeli security (21).’ Lévy’s high-level meddling in Libya has led to a scenario right out of Qaddafi’s worst nightmare: the CIA-proxy, Israeli-advised rebels are prepared to let the Zionist regime establish a base in eastern Cyrenaica on a 30-year lease (22). These activities confirm that Lévy is no mere Zionist; he is a high-level sayan (helper) doing the bidding of Tel Aviv.

With Libya now in complete disarray at the hands of NATO and Israel, the globetrotting Zionist Lévy has set his sights on Bashar al-Assad and Syria. Lévy led a conference last week in Paris's Cinema St. Germaine against the Assad government, likening Bashar al-Assad’s ‘crackdown on pro-democracy protesters’ to that of the Nazis. The conference was comprised of Zionists, former French officials, Syrian opposition figures and a Syrian Muslim Brotherhood representative. The point of Lévy’s conference was to mobilize the ex-French regime officials to lobby Russia and China in dropping their support for the Syrian Resistance government and getting both nations behind Libya-like resolutions against Bashar al-Assad. Lévy demanded that Syria be referred to an international tribunal (23).

Ammar Qurabi;
fake human rights activist,
closet Zionist.
The most disturbing of the attendees of Lévy’s meddlesome conference is a ‘Syrian opposition figure’ named Ammar Qurabi (24). Qurabi is the main source of information, statistics and rumors throughout the media institutions owned by the sheikhdoms of Qatar and Saudi Arabia and has repeatedly delivered fraudulent information and inflated protest numbers to the Zionist media (25). Qurabi’s wife writes for the London-based Saudi Arabia propaganda outlet, Elaph (26). He is frequently quoted as a ‘credible source’ by Western wire services like Reuters and AFP in regards to the ‘civilian death toll’ of the 'Syrian Revolution.' Qurabi however, is anything but credible. If the information initially presented doesn’t indicate that he is a stooge of the House of Saud, Qatar and Zionism, the following revelation most certainly will.

Prior to establishing Syria’s National Organization for Human Rights, Ammar Qurabi worked for Human Rights Watch and the Syrian Human Rights Committee. Human Rights Watch, handsomely funded to the tune of $100 million by billionaire Zionist war criminal George Soros, has a long history of working with Zionist think tanks and intelligence agencies in fostering war propaganda, specifically against the now ravaged nation of (occupied) Iraq. The Syrian Human Rights Committee is a promoter of Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International and an affiliate of the Patriotic Union Of Kurdistan, a Mossad-linked Zionist political party in northern Iraq with a militia trained by IOF (27). Do all 'human rights activists' work with elements of the Zionist war machine? Clearly, Qurabi is no ‘Syrian human rights advocate.’ He is an agent of the Zionist-Saudi axis’ destabilization operations against Syria.

With Ammar Qurabi keeping the lies flowing throughout Eastern and Western media and Tel Aviv’s ‘man in France’ Bernard-Henri Lévy upping the ante on the international front, Syria just cannot get a break from the Zionist entity’s mobilization.

Turkey’s Deadly Role In Syria Corroborated

The most diabolical character in Israel’s plot to take down Syria is the government of Turkey. In the two-part series on Syria preceding this piece, this author laid waste to the theory that Turkey represented Resistance in the region and exposed the Ankara regime as a willing participant in the ongoing destabilization operation in Syria, providing intelligence, military support, safe havens and meeting grounds to Syrian Muslim Brotherhood fighters, leaders and operatives and also facilitating contact between the Zionist-occupied American government and the Brotherhood. This treacherous, duplicitous behavior is part of a 1993 Turkish-Israeli Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that unites the two entities in military-intelligence cooperation on a large scale. The focus of this cooperation is to undermine Syria, Iran and Iraq; all enemies of the Zionist entity. The Zionist-run operations are funded with the billions in annual Turkish-Israeli bilateral trade (28).

As documented in the previous sections with the vital role of Bernard-Henri Lévy and the incitement operation in Hama carried out by the French Ambassador to Syria, as well as in the aforementioned series with France leading the European charge in sanctioning Syria, the government of Nicolas Sarkozy has played a major part in fomenting the violent unrest in Syria. Sarkozy did excessive spy work for Mossad in the 1980s and remains a high-level sayan to this day (29); his allegiance to Zionism is undeniable. Multiple sources have now confirmed to Mask of Zion that the French and Turkish governments have drawn up their own MOU, to strengthen the 1993 Turkish-Israeli MOU and to focus more intimate cooperation in toppling Bashar al-Assad. The leaked MOU document was initially provided to Mask of Zion in French and then translated by a second source. The French-Turkish MOU is between PM Erdogan himself and French Foreign Minister Alain Juppé.

Below is the document in its entirety, which fully corroborates the evidence revealed in the ‘Kiss of Democratic Death’ series:

The Juppé - Erdogan Agreement:

France, through its Foreign Minister Alain Juppé, attentively views that Turkey joining the European Union will greatly serve an important role in the Middle East. Only France has decided to provide the necessary support to the entry of Turkey into the European Union. This support was to be provided after a documented promise was made via the implementation of this agreement which serves the regional and international interests of Turkey, France and the European Union.

1. France provides the necessary support to Turkey to facilitate its entry into the EU before the end of 2012.

2. Turkey is to provide support to France on its strategic position in the Middle East, particularly Lebanon, Syria and Israel.

3. Leaving Turkey and Israel to continue military activities in Turkey as per the 1993 MOU while France provides support to both of the military units.

4. France will in turn provide the necessary support to Erdogan's upcoming parliamentary elections, to change the Turkish Constitution to serve the process of joining the European Union.

5. Turkey to facilitate the work of the Syrian opposition by organizing meetings of the Syrian opposition in Turkey and France, under the supervision of the representative of the European Union.

6. Turkey is ready to impose pressure on the Syrian regime to control the Middle East and bring down the Assad regime’s rejection of what it views as corrupt international policy in the Middle East.

7. Turkey to facilitate the entry of the Syrians displaced and allow the French media, or any other media allies, access to Syria.

8. Enable Turkey to control the regions of Aleppo and Idlib, northern Syria in exchange for France and Britain to control the rest of the occupied Syrian territorties.

9. Despite reluctance, Turkey is to help establish a U.S. military base in the east of Deir Al-Zour, Syria and France will provide the necessary support for this.

10. France is enjoying its status within the European Union to adopt a UN resolution on the Kurds of Turkey and to propose the creation of a Kurdish state in northern Iraq as a solution for them under the direct supervision of Turkey and France.

11. France is committed to using the veto on the costs of rights of Turkey as it deems appropriate boundaries between themselves and the alleged Kurdish state established in northern Iraq.

12. Facilitate business operations through Turkish territory to Syria and Lebanon, and not check the contents of the French tanks’ transit from Turkey to Syria and Lebanon.

13. The ongoing commitment of Turkey to the Convention on the Turkish-French business in Lebanon.

14. France provides the necessary support to Turkey and unconditional support on the outstanding issues between Turkey and Cyprus.

15. France to give Turkey $45 billion in the accounts of the European Union to support development operations in Turkey after Turkey's commitment to the provisions of this Agreement and such amounts will be disbursed in tranches based on Turkey's obligations to the provisions of this Agreement.

Turkey and France:
United in carrying
out Zionist objectives
in Syria.
The document clearly (and disturbingly) speaks for itself. It is interesting to note, that like Turkish-Israeli trade, French-Israeli trade is just as lucrative, with annual profits skyrocketing to over 2 billion Euros ($2.8 billion) last year (30). The money funding the operations of the Tel Aviv-Ankara-Paris axis in Syria is awash in innocent blood, as every cent of it has passed through Zionist hands. Undoubtedly paid for by this blood money and as per number 5 in the Juppé-Erdogan Agreement, Turkey recently hosted yet another Syrian opposition conference in Istanbul on July 13th, 2011. While spouting usual, malicious rhetoric against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Lebanese Resistance movement of Hezbollah, this meeting soared to new heights and is arguably the most dangerous to date, as attendees flamboyantly called on the Syrian armed forces to turn on Bashar al-Assad and help ‘the people’ overthrow the regime (31). As the Juppé-Erdogan Agreement and all of the evidence provided here display, it is not ‘the people’ doing anything, but a murderous nexus with the illegitimate Israeli regime sitting at its head.

13-year old
Hamza Ali
al-Khatib; the story
of his death as
reported by the Zionist
media is a grossly
exaggerated farce.
Conclusion: A Tale Of Two Children

Over the course of the last several months, one story that has permeated nearly all of the Zionist media’s coverage on Syria is that of 13-year old Hamza Ali al-Khatib, the first boy in this ‘tale of two children.’ He has become the ‘face of the Syrian Revolution,’ as many news outlets, including Zionist-created Al-Jazeera, have declared. The story goes something like this: seeking freedom and dignity like every other Syrian participating in the ‘peaceful, pro-democracy’ protests in the Dara’a Governorate, little 13-year old Hamza Ali al-Khatib hit the streets of Saida Village on April 29th, or the streets of Jiza Village, as ‘eyewitnesses’ can’t seem to be able to make up their minds. He was picked up by Syrian security forces in a routine ‘crackdown’ operation and tortured in custody for almost a month before being delivered back to his family with lacerations, bruises and burns to his elbows, face, knees, chest and feet, bullet wounds and castrated (32). Another sensational, shocking tragedy brought to the world by the Syrian Revolution.

The information, extracted from a Youtube video, is said to be congruent with reports from Human Rights Watch (HRW) about the types of torture used by Syrian security forces. HRW, all of its media glory and hype aside, has been exposed as nothing more than a tool of Zionist-globalist hegemony, fabricating reports whenever the Zionist entity and its allies need justification to prepare an ‘enemy’ country for regime change (as aforementioned), so how can any claim made by such an organization be taken seriously?

How can this Soros-funded band of propagandists and liars possess an almost infallible credibility when the foundation of its ‘legitimacy’ rests on pure illusion? In simpler terms, reports from HRW can’t be congruent with anything because HRW doesn’t tell the truth. The nail in HRW’s coffin comes with placing its senior researcher on Syrian Affairs, Nadim Houry, under a microscope: he’s also done work for the Rothschild-founded mega think tank, the Council on Foreign Relations, and he previously worked for the law firm Sherman and Sterling LLP, a group admittedly dedicated to furthering the interests of international bankers through privatization and globalization (33). What kind of human rights advocate also works for organizations solely dedicated to wiping out human rights worldwide through criminal wars and occupations? That is yet another rhetorical question.

Beyond that, a closer look at the Youtube video reveals that there is no evidence of torture at all, and most certainly not at the hands of Syrian security forces. The body is so discolored and disfigured from the discoloration, that one cannot be sure that it is even the body of 13-year old Hamza. It certainly looks to be someone else entirely. The video is definitely graphic, but at no point does the video show that the body has been castrated. Most bizarrely, the Arabic-speaking narrators of the video continue repeating ridiculous slogans about freedom and dignity. Where is the emotion and outrage of what has supposedly been done to the child? Where is the indignation? And casting further doubt on the entire matter, at the end of the video, the narrators call on the UN and Amnesty International to take action against Syria. Suspicious does not begin to describe this footage.

Contrary to reports in
the Zionist Western press and
Al-Jazeera, this is NOT the body
of Hamza Ali al-Khatib.
There is an alternative view of what happened to Hamza Ali al-Khatib, a view that has not even been given a fraction of the coverage that the mainstream (i.e. Zionist) view has. The alternative view is: Hamza indeed did take part in 'pro-reform' protests in the Dara’a Governorate and was indeed killed. However, the boy was not ‘murdered’ by Syrian security forces. He was caught in the crossfire of Saudi-Zionist-trained armed fighters and Syrian security officials at the Saida military housing compound. The armed brigade captured several children, including Hamza, and led them to the compound at gunpoint. They then opened fire on army, police, security forces and civilians. In the April 29th battle, a Syrian security chief was gunned down along with several others. Hamza’s body was taken to the hospital and once he was identified, he was transferred back to his family. Bashar al-Assad himself traveled to the family’s home to offer his condolences. The body in the now-infamous Youtube video belonged to that of a still unidentified man in his 20s, which was photographed and taped by Syrian opposition members (34).

This information is quite congruent with previous documentation regarding opposition attacks on Syrian government targets. This information would also mean that the opposition lied about Hamza Ali al-Khatib, which is also congruent with previous documentation. Zionist-backed Syrian opposition forces have already played this game before by faking the death of a 10-year boy named “Ayham al-Ahmad.” The video quality was so poor however that the international media did not pay it any mind (35). A week and a half after the Ayham story failed, the news of Hamza, much more brutal, sensational and heart-wrenching, emerged on the international scene. Psychological warfare is the name of the game and it must not be forgotten that Mossad’s psychological warfare unit, LAP, maintains a cozy working relationship with the Zionist media (36).

14-year old Malik
Ahmed Suleiman
after he was
strangled to
death for supporting
Bashar al-Assad.
The second boy in this ‘tale of two children,’ is one that the greater majority of those who follow mainstream news and even those claim to be activists have never heard of. This boy isn’t marketable, nor is he profitable and unlike Hamza, his story cannot be manipulated, mutated and transformed into a media fiasco. This boy’s name is Malik Ahmed Suleiman. He was only 14 years old. Young Malik was from the city of Homs, a major battleground between the Zionist-Saudi axis’ destablization operatives and supporters of President Bashar al-Assad. He was the son of Syrian Army Colonel Ahmed Suleiman, a supporter of President Assad and a staunch Syrian nationalist. On May 29th, while the world was incessantly clamoring about the false stories regarding Hamza al-Khatib, Malik Ahmed Suleiman was strangled to death with a belt in front of his home for holding up a picture of Bashar al-Assad during an anti-government protest.

Young Malik was targeted because his family had rejected the ‘Syrian Revolution’ and stood in solidarity with the majority of the Syrian people in their support for Bashar al-Assad. Why hasn’t this heinous murder been spoken about by mainstream media? Firstly, because the Suleiman family stands with the Resistance. And secondly, because Malik Ahmed Suleiman’s tragic story would invalidate the Zionist narrative regarding Syria’s ‘peaceful revolution.’

Al-Jazeera:
An 'island' of
Zionist
propaganda.
What about Al-Jazeera? Why hasn’t Al-Jazeera reported on this horrific crime? Because Al-Jazeera is nothing more than the Arab wing of the Zionist media and since 2004 alone, it has suppressed hundreds of stories of Zionist atrocities in occupied Palestine and it deliberately ignored the Zionist regime’s admission of dropping millions of cluster bombs on Lebanon during the genocidal July War (37). Ghassan Bin Jeddo, who stepped down from his post as Al-Jazeera’s Beirut Bureau Chief because the network launched a ‘smear campaign against Syria,’ said, “Al-Jazeera has resorted to gutter journalism. It is now an operations room for incitement and mobilization (38).” Malik Ahmed Suleiman doesn’t help Al-Jazeera ‘incite and mobilize’ against Syria, he blocks it.

What unites Malik Ahmed Suleiman and Hamza Ali al-Khatib is that they are both victims of a deadly, ominous destabilization campaign launched against Syria by the Zionist entity and the House of Saud. It is a campaign that has claimed the lives of police, civilians and soldiers alike and like a shark that smells blood in the water, it will not stop until it reaches its prey: Bashar al-Assad.

Malik Ahmed
Suleiman before
he was murdered
by Zionist-Saudi
destablization
forces.
The Zionist end game is to fracture Syria into multiple states of ethnic-sectarian distinction (39), ripping apart the unified fabric of the society that has prospered under the leadership of the Assad family for decades. The means of achieving this end lies within the savage opposition, a creature of Zionist-Saudi cooperation. This creature must be exposed for the Israeli-engineered beast that it is and the plot that it represents now more than ever as Zionist mobilization continues its climb towards all-out invasion. It must be exposed for Malik. It must be exposed for Hamza. And it must be exposed for the millions of other Syrians and their children whose lives are very much at stake. It is up to the people of conscience to reject the status quo, break free from the mainstream shackles and do so.

Enough Jihad by Email — When Will We March for Palestine?

 by Dr. Mohamed Khodr

“Human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable… Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individuals –Martin Luther King, Jr.
(WASHINGTON D.C.) – No just cause has been so unclaimed by humanity than the cause of Palestine.

No just cause for the freedom of a subjugated people has been the blind spot of humanity for so long than the cause of Palestine.

No just cause has generated more words and less action than the cause of Palestine.

World history can be divided into eras of ideas; ideas that have elevated humanity to the summit of greatness and justice or plummet it to the depths of an abyss, an inferno of injustice and cruelty.
Our modern era is acutely and tragically defined by dumb politicians, smart bombs, and an apathetic world detached from the machinations of corrupt, greedy, selfish and cruel elites who view the world as their playground for power and the entitled theft of nations and their resources.

In pursuit of their wealth they have callously and without any semblance of conscience committed holocausts and genocides that in the 20th Century alone have killed over 170 Million people, ethnically cleansed mass populations across the globe, and committed untold war crimes and crimes against humanity[1]

They believe that innocent populations living in their own lands are simply expendable to be exterminated and removed from their very earth to seize their homeland and its resources.
The powerful elite not only admit their craven bloodthirsty disregard for human life but are supremely proud of their deadly evil deeds.

“We belong to the superior race and civilization… The basic justification of conquest over native peoples is the conviction of our superiority – not just economic and military but also moral…That quality underlies our right to direct the rest of humanity” — Jules Harmand, French Colonialist, 1910
“We in the rich world live in comparative comfort only because of the inordinate power our governments wield and the inordinate wealth which flows from that power…Global democracy means ensuring that the world is run for our benefit”’ George Orwell, 1932

No greater sense of narcissistic and paranoid entitlement topped with a heaped sense of superiority and supremacy exists in today’s world than in Israel and its shadow political and economic elites in western capitols.
Due to such inordinate Zionist power Khazarian Jews, mainly from Russia and Eastern Europe, were gifted a land they neither owned nor had any legitimate claim to as a homeland to solve the Anti-Jewish problem of Europe. Palestine was stolen by force, its people ethnically cleansed, massacred by Jewish terrorism, and now enduring the longest most brutal occupation of all aspects of their lives for decades.

This tragic oppression and dispossession was publicly supported by the governments of the United States and Europe. Is it possible that such free democratic societies were complicit and supportive of Israel’s Apartheid Fascist existence and rule over an entire population, the Palestinians? It can’t be, after all, they are the beacon of hope, liberty, freedom, self determination, equality and justice for all, and the spreaders of democratic human rights values around the world by peaceful means.
God allows these murderous oppressors time to either repent or hang themselves by their own weapons.

Thus divine time cures all injustices against all His creations. The end times for these “democratic” oppressive empires is fast approaching.

Prophet Muhammad taught:
“God has no mercy on one who has no mercy for others”
As a Muslim and a human being I am commanded by God to fight oppression anywhere against anyone who attacks and subjugates an innocent people, a people created free by God to live in peace and harmony with one another. (To comfort the doubters I have repeatedly called upon Muslim peoples to fight and exterminate Muslim terrorism)
“O mankind! We created you from a single soul, male and female, and made you into nations and tribes, so that you may come to know one another. Truly, the most honored of you in God’s sight is the greatest of you in piety. God is All-Knowing, All Aware” (Qur’an: 49:13)

Hence my overwhelming passion to fight for the rights of the oppressed people of Palestine until their dream of freedom from Israel, a western colony that ironically is the master of the west, is realized.
Yet, I must admit my failure to have made an iota of difference in the life of Palestinian children who simply want to sleep, if for one night, in peace and quiet in their hope and prayers to live to see another day with their entire family still alive, none killed, or imprisoned.

My sole contribution to the freedom of Palestine is my keyboard and my weapon of mouse distribution of emails to others of like mind and heart.

I send out words in the hope they will touch someone, anyone; that they will move someone, anyone; that they will impact someone, anyone; that they may generate a mass gathering, a march, a rallying cry; anything that ends the inhumane suffering of the children of Gaza, Jenin, and East Jerusalem that they may see the light and warmth of freedom and awaken from their nightmare to live in a free independent Palestine..

Alas, my own dismal struggle for the Palestinian cause is limited to a Jihad by Email; a cyber struggle, words sent out with a click of a mouse and not with a thump of my feet banging across pavements that lead to our occupied centers of power.

There are many honorable men and women around the world of all faiths and races who like me toil against the Apartheid occupation of Palestine with their own Jihad by Email, their own struggle to enlighten the world that gross injustice exists under the very feet of the western invention of a “democratic Jewish only State” called Israel.

So few have the courage and motivation to physically stand up and protest around the western capitols raising their voices to free Palestine on behalf of the voiceless faceless Palestinians.

Despite their small numbers they are shining light on the Palestinian struggle to end their occupation and gain their freedom.

But why are their numbers small? Where is the rest of humanity that believes in justice, freedom, equality, and human rights? Are they afraid of Israel, its Mossad, AIPAC, and Anti Defamation League’s attacks, threats to their lives, and media smears? Are they afraid of being harassed by the FBI, CIA, NSA, and every other soup alphabet? Are they afraid for their safety and loss of jobs?

If yes, than that’s all the more reason to unite and oppose these forces by protesting around the country and in other western capitols that the powers of our government are meant to serve us not oppress us.
We have the most powerful weapon ever invented by man: the VOTE. No amount of special interest money can overcome our votes, our voices, our demands.

They must hear this loudly: SERVE THE PEOPLE or YOU’RE FIRED.

Jihad by Email has given each of us some semblance of comfort that we’re participating in a just struggle for Palestinian freedom but only massive peaceful protests and marches will bring about the revolution of change in our nation’s subservient slavish surrender to Israel and its Zionists.
We must launch a rebellion of peaceful protests to reclaim our government and nation from the elite that enriches itself at the expense of the American people and sends our youth to die for corporate greed and Israel.

It is time to instill the fear of God in them, our government and Israel’s lobbies, such as AIPAC.
It is time for them to be afraid, really afraid.

As Friedrich Nietzsche said:
“The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.”

History has always changed due to heavenly revelations, individual ideas and principles whether in the arena of politics, economics, science and technology, social, cultural norms and traditions. Such change has come by either violent revolutions or peaceful civil disobedience. We the people of conscience will reclaim our nation in a totally peaceful manner, via protesting and voting.

History is a journey of ideas; some meant for progress of humanity others meant to hinder and destroy humanity, hence the clash of man’s free will for good or evil.

This time in history is our time. The time when humanity finally declares In unison—no more injustice, no more wars for oil and Israel, no more oppression of man’s free will, no more enslavement or subjugation of peoples, especially women and children, around the world; no more corporate welfare, no more monopoly and accumulation of wealth by only 2% of the world’s population, no more freedom to pollute our earth, no more hunger in an rich world, no more deaths due to lack of vaccines and drugs, and most importantly an END TO ISRAEL’S OCCUPATION OF PALESTINE AND WASHINGTON D.C.

Ideas alone can only succeed when voices are heard above the lies and propaganda of the elite, and when feet march to the beat of a drum crying for freedom.

Thus I call upon myself and all who dare to march to unite in Washington D.C. and New York City this September to demand freedom for Palestine and its recognition as a free and independent State; an end to the Zionist occupation of our corrupt bribed and frightened Congress that funds Israel’s occupation, illegal settlements, and atrocities, while cutting funding for lunch programs in schools for America’s poor children

Only a strong coordinated effort by people and organizations across this country can bring this protest into fruition. The question is who will lead this effort and who among us will respond physically and financially to secure the dream of a free Palestine, a free Washington D.C., and a free world?
Israel has succeeded in intimidating, frightening, and wearing down our minds and energies. But as Martin Luther King said, no one can ride your back unless your back is bent. Palestine fatigue has begun to set in precisely because of Israel’s power and dominance of our government and media. We are fatigued because of their successful decade’s long refusal to abide by international law frustrating a world paralyzed by fear of America’s wrath against those who dare to oppose Israel. In private Americans detest Israel and its chokehold on this nation but publicly dare not speak. .
A superpower afraid to speak against a small nation it created, funds, supports, and protects. That’s an American tragedy.

But with God’s help Goliath will be crushed by a stone thrown by a Palestinian child.
Failure is a good probability for this effort but I’d rather try and fail then die a failed man with no legacy of any contribution to my fellow man.

“The probability that we may fail in the struggle ought not to deter us from the support of a cause we believe to be just” –Abraham Lincoln

It is easy and tempting to surrender and walk away, but if we do, did we really have the passion and commitment in the first place to any just cause?

Enough “Jihad by Email”—Time to March

After all the very existence and purpose of all life is to struggle for truth and justice. Can we overcome our inertia? I strongly believe we can, but only time will be the judge of this moment, this era, and our brief inhabitance of this world. http://www.hawaii.edu/powerkills/DBG.CHAP1.HTM

Sayyed Nasrallah: No Red Lines Anymore ..

Eslam al-Rihani
On July 16, 2006, the Zionist military machine continued its aggression on Lebanon. The southern Dahyeh suburb was pounded heavily, witnessing a high level of destruction not seen even during the 1982 Zionist invasion of Lebanon, while warships and warplanes were bombing different regions and villages in the south, the Bekaa and the north.

The Resistance responded by targeting vital places in the city of Haifa, where the train station was bombed. Enemy media sources confirmed the death of 9 residents and dozens more wounded.

Later on the day, Zionist fighter jets went too far in attacks. Hezbollah’s Mujahedeen launched rockets targeting areas beyond Haifa, "Raad-1 & -2"- type rockets were for the first time falling in areas near Afula, Upper Nazareth and Givat Ela.
AGGRESSION
More blood was shed on Sunday, July 16, 2006. More citizens were killed during the violent assault on Dahye, over the regions of Haret Hriek, Beir al-Abd and Ghobeiry.

Al Manar Channel building was targeted and completely leveled. The broadcast had been cut after the Israeli raid, however it soon returned after few moments.

The ports of Beirut, Tripoli and Jounieh were hit by the fire of Zionist submarines, as well as the Beacon Ras Beirut. Baalbeck city was also bombed.
Marwaheen Massacre -
July war on Lebanon 2006.
Turning to south Lebanon, Zionist warplanes and submarines bombed the cities of Sidon, Tyre, Bent Jbeil, Nabateih and Marjeoun, alond side with the towns of Houla, Markaba, Kfarshouba, Taibe, and several other villages like Marwaheen, where dozens were killed in the Israeli massacre. The bombardment led to the destruction of houses, schools, hospitals and amusement parks.

All the Lebanese coastal radars were completely destructed. The number of martyrs who fell in the south on this day alone reached 50.
At the end of the day, 116 Lebanese citizens were killed, and 316 others wounded.

POLITICS

The then Lebanese President Emile Lahoud accused Israel on Sunday of using banned weapons against civilians in its military offensive Lebanon.
“Israeli forces have fired phosphorus incendiary bombs, which are a blatant violation of international laws," Lahoud said.
Speaker Nabih Berri slammed as well the Arab passiveness towards the ‘Israeli’ aggression on Lebanon. While the then Lebanese PM Foad Siniora declared Lebanon a devastated country and called on the world states for assistance. Finance Minister Jihad Azour said the country’s economy had lost till that day half a billion dollars.

MUJAHEDEEN RESPONSE

Zionist government closed all facilities located northern Occupied Territories in anticipation of the fall of Resistance rockets. Hezbollah launch its missiles over Keryat Shmoneh, Karmael, Nihariya, Tiberias, Lower Galilee, Safad, Amiad and many other vital points.
For the first time since the Gulf war, IOF deployed two Patriot batteries in Haifa, and declared the state of alert in “Tel Aviv” and southern of the Occupied Territories. Residents in “Tel Aviv” were asked to go down to shelters, where those in Haifa complained of the lack of shelters to protect them from Mujahedeen’s anger.
Zionist channel reported that Hezbollah had succeeded in hitting one of the vital facilities in Haifa, where heavy displacement witnessed from northern Occupied Territories to the south. The death toll in Haifa rose to 9, along with 40 others wounded.

AL-SAYYED

On the same day, Hezbollah Secretary General delivered a televised speech, in which he stressed that the “enemy targeting civil infrastructure signifies its inability to face the Mujahedeen.”
His eminence stated “we (the Resistance) are managing our operations in an unexpected way,” adding that “we have no red line in confronting the enemy anymore.”

Sayyed Nasrallah promised Zionist army that it would be surprised on land, just like it had been surprised in sea.

On July 16, 2006, the second surprise was declared: Haifa is not a red line anymore ...

US Congress Loves Being Lied to about the Israel-Palestine Conflict…

when the truth is so easy to discover

There is only one thing worse that being lied to, Congress. And that’s acting on a lie.

Hamas prime minister, Ismail Haniyeh, within days of being elected, offered long-term peace if Israel recognised Palestine as an independent state on 1967 borders.

by Stuart Littlewood

Here in the UK we have so many craven politicians paying homage to the likes of Murdoch and playing stooge to the pro-Israel lobby that there’s little time to take much interest in US politics. So I apologise to American friends for briefly intruding on their grief; but somebody has sent me a copy of a letter from a US Congresswoman Colleen Hanabusa to one of her constituents.

It says:

“As the only democracy in the region, I believe that the United States has a special relationship with Israel… During my time in the House of Representatives, I will support our funding our ally and help to forward Israel’s efforts to keep their citizens safe, which currently stands at $2.8 billion in general foreign aid, and another $280 million for a missile defense system…
“Our foreign aid to Palestine is intended to create a virtuous cycle of stability and prosperity in the West Bank that inclines Palestinians towards peaceful coexistence with Israel and prepares them for self-governance. Continued failure to reach a two-state solution, combined with lack of consensus on any of the alternatives, may also mean that the status quo in the West Bank and Gaza could continue indefinitely. In addition, with the West Bank and Gaza currently controlled by Hamas, an entity listed as a terrorist organization by U.S. State Department and many other world governments, this may ultimately impact future aid our nation will provide.
“Most recently, I became a co-sponsor of House Resolution 268, which reaffirms our support for a negotiated solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict resulting in two states. This resolution also opposition to a unilateral declaration of a Palestinian state, as well as outlined consequences for Palestinian efforts to circumvent direct negotiations. This bill passed in the House on July 7, 2011 by a vote of 407 – 6…”

Resolution 268 ctually states that “Palestinian efforts to gain recognition of a state outside direct negotiations demonstrates absence of a good faith commitment to peace negotiations”. It threatens withholding US foreign aid to the Palestinian National Authority if it presses ahead with an application for statehood in the United Nations in September. It also calls for the Palestinian unity government to “publicly and formally forswear terrorism, accept Israel’s right to exist, and reaffirm previous agreements made with the Government of Israel.”

Senator Ben Cardin, who initiated the resolution, announced: “The Senate has delivered a clear message to the international community that United Nations recognition of a Palestinian state at this time does not further the peace process.”

Israel is the only democracy in the region? The West Bank and Gaza are controlled by Hamas? An application to the UN for Palestinian statehood is “circumventing” the peace process? Rep Colleen Hanabusa’s letter shows that she is poorly briefed. There is nothing on her website to suggest that she has a special interest in foreign affairs, let alone the Middle East. So why does this nice lady lawmaker from Hawaii suddenly find herself co-sponsoring a resolution that’s designed to scupper the hopes for freedom of another people halfway round the world, who have suffered betrayal and brutal military occupation for 63 years?

Disinformation is a recurring feature of US foreign policy discourse, and I’m reminded of the twisted comments of Alejandro Wolff, US Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, when he faced journalists’ questions at the Security Council on that infamous day, 3 January 2009, when Israel’s tanks rolled into Gaza to deal further death and destruction to a community that had already been air-blitzed for 8 days and suffered siege and blockade for nearly 30 months before that.

Reporter: Mr. Ambassador, you made no mention, sir, of any Israeli violation of those agreements that you’ve referred to, particularly in the opening of the crossings. And then there is a major development today, which is Israel’s land attack and that’s threatening to kill hundreds of civilians. Doesn’t this deserve some request for Israel… to stop its ground military attacks, sir?

Ambassador Wolff: Well, again, we’re not going to equate the actions of Israel, a member state of the United Nations, with the actions of the terrorist group Hamas. There is no equivalence there. This Council has spoken on many times about the concerns we had about Hamas’s military attacks on Israel. The charter of this organization [the UN] respects the right of every member state to exercise its self-defense, and Israel’s self-defense is not negotiable…. The plight of the Palestinian people in Gaza is directly attributable to Hamas.

Reporter: But Hamas represents the people, because they voted, over 70 percent of them, for Hamas in the last election.

Ambassador Wolff: Hamas usurped the legitimate authority of the Palestinian Authority in Gaza.
Even US ambassadors should know that Hamas was and still is the legitimate authority. Hamas was democratically elected in 2006 in a contest judged by international observers to be clean. The result didn’t suit Israel or its protector America so, together with the UK and the EU, they set about trashing Palestine’s embryonic democracy. Losers Fatah, a corrupt faction rejected by the people for that reason, was recruited and funded to do the dirty work, for which they were well suited. As John Pilger has pointed out, when Hamas foiled a CIA-inspired coup in 2007 the event was reported in the western media as ‘Hamas’s seizure of power’.

Hamas simply took the action necessary to establish its democratic authority against Fatah’s US-funded militia. Which angered the US and Israel even more.

For Mrs Hanabusa’s information, thanks to America’s meddling Fatah controls the West Bank but has no democratic legitimacy while Hamas is holed up in Gaza. And Israel is far from being the full-blown western style democracy that many think.

“No equivalence” between Israel and terrorist Hamas?

The US uses a perfectly good form of words to brand, outlaw and crush any organization, individual or country it doesn’t like. Under Executive Order 13224 (“Blocking Property and prohibiting Transactions with Persons who commit, threaten to commit, or support Terrorism”), Section 3, the term “terrorism” means an activity that —
(i) involves a violent act or an act dangerous to human life, property, or infrastructure; and (ii) appears to be intended
(a) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;
(b) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or
(c) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, kidnapping, or hostage-taking.”

The order was signed 23 September 2001 by George W Bush. Its definition of terrorism fits the conduct of the United States and its bosom-buddy Israel like a glove, the irony of which seems totally lost on Congress.

Let us also look at Netanyahu’s definition since he runs Israel’s current government. His book Terrorism: How the West Can Win defines terror as the “deliberate and systematic murder, maiming and menacing of the innocent to inspire fear for political ends”.

In an interview with Jennifer Byrne in February 2002, he said: “Terrorism is defined by one thing and one thing alone, the nature of the act. It is the deliberate systematic assault on civilians that defines terrorism.”

It’s like he’s signing his own arrest warrant.

If terror is unjustifiable, then it is unjustifiable across the board. The Palestinians had no history of violence until their lands were threatened then partitioned and overrun by a brutal intruder whose greed is never satisfied. Demands for Palestinians to cease their terror campaign (if you buy the idea that resistance = terror) must be linked to demands for Israel to do the same.

As for the resistance movement Hamas, its charter is objectionable and the leadership are foolish not to have re-written it in tune with modern diplomacy. Nevertheless the Hamas prime minister, Ismail Haniyeh, within days of being elected, offered long-term peace if Israel recognised Palestine as an independent state on 1967 borders. Previously the PLO had unwisely “recognised” Israel without any reciprocal recognition of a Palestinian state. The Oslo Accords were supposed to end the Occupation and give Palestine independence. “What we’ve got instead are more settlements, more occupation, more roadblocks, more poverty and more repression,” he said.

Omar Abdul Razek, Hamas’s finance minister, when interviewed by Aljazeera in May 2006, asked: “Which Israel would you want me to recognise? Is it Israel from the Nile to the Euphrates? Israel with the occupied Golan Heights? Israel with East Jerusalem? Israel with the settlements? I challenge you to tell me where Israel’s borders lie.”

Interviewer: “… the 1967 borders.”

Razek: “Does Israel recognise the 1967 borders? Can you tell me of one Israeli government that ever voiced willingness to withdraw to the 1967 borders?”

So the question remains: why should Hamas or any other Palestinian party renounce violence against a foreign power that violently occupies their homeland, bulldozes their homes at gun-point, uproots their beautiful olive groves, sets up hundreds of armed checkpoints to disrupt normal life, batters down villagers’ front doors in the dead of night, builds an illegal ‘separation’ wall to annex their territory, divide families, steal their water and isolate their communities, and blockades exports and imports to cause economic ruin… and now plans to steal Gaza’s offshore gas?

Palestinians too have a right to defend themselves, and their self-defence, like Israel’s, is non-negotiable.

As for recognizing Israel right to exist, no Palestinian is likely to do that while under Israel’s jackboot. Nor should they be expected to. It would simply serve to legitimize the occupation, which is what Israel wants above all and what Israel wants Israel must get, even if the US has to make a complete fool of itself.

The terror that stalks the Holy Land

American and Israeli politicians love quoting the number of garden-shed rockets launched from Gaza towards Sderot. But can they say how many (US-supplied) bombs, shells and rockets have been delivered by F-16s, helicopter gun-ships, tanks, drones and navy vessels into the tightly-packed humanity of Gaza?

But at least we have an idea of the death-toll over the last 10 years. B’Tselem, the Israeli Information Centre for Human Rights, keeps a close check.

In the period between the start of the second Intifada (September 2000) up to Operation Cast Lead (26 December 2008) 4,836 Palestinians were killed by Israelis in the Occupied Territories, including 951 children. 235 of these were targeted killings (i.e. assassinations) while 2,186 were killed during targeted killings although they were not taking part in hostilities. 581 Israelis, including 84 children, were killed by Palestinians in Israel.

During Operation Cast Lead (27 December 2008 to 18 January 2009) 1,396 Palestinians including 345 children were killed by Israelis. In Gaza itself they killed 344 children, 110 women and 117 elderly people. Only 4 Israelis were killed by Palestinians in this period, no children.

Since Operation Cast Lead and up to the end of May 2011 Israelis killed 197 Palestinians in the Occupied Territories, including 26 children. 5 were targeted killings during which 65 non-participants were killed. In the same period 3 Israelis were killed by Palestinians in Israel including 1 child.
I make that 6,429 to the Israelis and 589 to the Palestinians – a kill rate of 11 to 1. When it comes to snuffing out children Israel is even more proficient with a kill-rate of over 14 to 1.

And it’s not just the dead. The Cast Lead assault on Gaza is reported to have injured and maimed some 5,450. Israel also destroyed or damaged 58,000 homes, 280 schools, 1,500 factories and water and sewage installations. And it used prohibited weapons like depleted uranium and white phosphorus shells.

Assassination has been official Israeli policy since 1999. Their preferred method is the air-strike, which is often messy as demonstrated in 2002 when Israeli F-16 warplanes bombed the house of Sheikh Salah Shehadeh, the military commander of Hamas, in Gaza City killing not just him but at least 11 other Palestinians including seven children, and wounding 120 others.

I’m told resistance ‘terrorists’ like Hamas account for less than a thousand victims a year worldwide, while ‘good guy’ state terrorists slaughter civilians by the hundreds of thousands… some say millions.
The long list of Israeli attacks on Palestinian civilians – attacks that cannot be justified on grounds of defence or security and are so disproportionate as to constitute grave violations of human rights – puts Israel near the top of the state terrorist league. The demolition of thousands of Palestinian homes in the West Bank for “administrative” and planning reasons, the wholesale destruction of businesses and infrastructure, the impoverishment and displacement of Palestinians through land expropriation and closure, the abductions and imprisonments, the assassinations, and especially that 22-day blitzkrieg on the civilian population of Gaza who had nowhere to run… all this add up to mega-terrorism on the part of America’s “special friend”, according to their own definitions.

Negotiations? “We have spoken to Israel for more than 18 years and the result has been zero.”

Ismail Haniyeh and Fr. Manuel Musallam
Finally, what is this nonsense about Palestinians lacking good faith and somehow “isolating Israel” by applying for UN recognition rather than wasting more time on fruitless negotiations? Israel obtained its statehood by accepting the borders of the UN’s 1947 partition, which was agreed without even consulting the Palestinians whose land was being carved up. The Jews didn’t stop to “negotiate”. Well before the ink was dry Jewish terror groups had ethnically cleansed and driven off hundreds of thousands of Palestinian Arabs from their lands and villages so that the new state’s already generous boundaries were immediately expanded (example, Najd now Sderot). The land-grab had started and Israel’s borders have been ‘fluid’ ever since.

Why are US lawmakers now trying to thwart the Palestinians’ dream of their own independent state? No-one is demanding the 1947 borders. They are willing to accept the 1967 armistice lines recognized in numerous UN resolutions and generally accepted by the international community. Even Hamas has agreed. So what is the problem?

The problem is that the Israeli occupation should have collapsed long ago under the weight of its illegality, but Israel shows no willingness to return the stolen lands or relinquish enough control for a viable Palestinian state.

Netanyahu heads Israel’s Likud party, which is the embodiment of greed, racist ambition, lawlessness and callous disregard for other people’s rights. In any other country it would be banned and its leaders locked up. Yet he is welcomed like a hero in the US and given 29 standing ovations by Congress.
Likud intends to make the seizure of Jerusalem permanent and establish Israel’s capital there. It will “act with vigor” to ensure Jewish sovereignty in East Jerusalem (which still officially belongs to the Palestinians as does the Old City). The illegal settlements are “the realization of Zionist values and a clear expression of the unassailable right of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel”. They will be strengthened and expanded. As for the Palestinians, they can run their lives in a framework of self-rule “but not as an independent and sovereign state”.

So we can see where he’s coming from.

Kadima, the party of Livni, Olmert and Barak, is little better and has also pledged to preserve the larger settlement blocs and steal Jerusalem.

In the 1947 UN partition Jerusalem was designated an international city under independent administration to avoid all this aggravation.

Rather than force compliance with international law and UN resolutions the international community, led by the US, has let matters slide by insisting on a solution based on lop-sided power negotiations in which the Palestinians are at a serious disadvantage. During this dragged-out failed process Israel has been allowed to strengthen its occupation by establishing more and more ‘facts on the ground’, and its violations of human rights and international law have escalated with impunity. And that is what this dirty game is all about – Israel needs more time to make its occupation permanent.

Funny how we never hear the US talking about law and justice. It’s always “negotiations” or “talks”, buying time for Israel.

What the situation is crying out for is justice, and it’s all set down in UN resolutions, international law and humanitarian law. Once both sides are in compliance negotiations can commence… if there’s anything left to negotiate.

Fr Manuel Musallam, for many years the Latin Catholic priest in Gaza, recently told members of the Irish government: “We have spoken to Israel for more than 18 years and the result has been zero. We have signed agreements here and there at various times and then when there is a change in the Government of Israel we have to start again from the beginning. We ask for our life and to be given back our Jerusalem, to be given our state and for since 1990.”

Indeed, when I met Fr Manuel four years ago he had been effectively trapped in Gaza for 9 years unable to visit his family a few miles away in the West Bank. Had he set foot outside Gaza the Israelis would not have allowed him back in to re-join his flock. So he stayed put until he retired. This is just a tiny part of the ugly reality that America supports and applauds.

If Mrs Hanabusa and the rest of Congress were in the Palestinians’ shoes would they bog themselves down yet again in discredited negotiations with a gun to their heads?

Or would they apply to the UN for long overdue enforcement of its resolutions and international law?
There is only one thing worse that being lied to, Congress. And that’s acting on a lie.

Kurds eagerly watch South Sudan’s independence

by Dr. Ashraf Ezzat on July 16, 2011
The Kurdish Globe
By Qassim Khidjir &
Ramazan Partew

“The declaration of South Sudan is a great lesson that no force can oppress the rights of a nation.”
”Arabs should look at their serious blunders and moral failures by facing the fact that the South Sudanese are an oppressed people whose grievances were against Arab rule and not against Western domination”

On the day when the world’s youngest nation, South Sudan emerged, most of the editorials in the Kurdish media in Iraqi Kurdistan Region were about South Sudan. This was not because Kurds are particularly interested in Africa’s affairs, but because Kurds believe they have similar history as the South Sudanese. They both faced decades of struggle, genocide and ethnic cleansing.

“Today is a bright day, not only for the history of South Sudanese, but also for all nations that struggled for a long time for their independence,” said Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barzani in a congratulatory letter to South Sudan President Salva Kiir. Barzani pointed out, “this is living proof that any nation with an independence movement can one day reach their goal.”

Barzani expressed his admiration to the leaders of the Republic of Sudan for respecting the decision of South Sudanese people. In a referendum last January, 98 percent of South Sudanese people voted to break away from Sudan. In the meantime, Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Barham Salih, in a letter to Kiir said, “The declaration of South Sudan is a great lesson that no power can oppress the rights of a nation.”

Member of the Kurdistan Parliament Omer Nuradini explained that the Kurds were excited about the independence of South Sudan more than the independence of other nations because South Sudan, like Kurdistan, is in the Arab region. He also noted Sudan like Iraq was a British colony; Sudan like Iraq is a multi-ethnic and religious country; and South Sudan like Kurdistan Region took arms to gain liberation.
Mosad sent me Kurdistan to help the Kurds"
Another Kurdish MP, Abdul Salam Barwari, said the difference between Kurdistan Region and South Sudan is when South Sudan got federalism, it was submitted in the constitution that South Sudan has the right to hold a referendum to decide whether they want to be part of Sudan or break away. But in the Iraqi Constitution, it is not mentioned that Kurdistan Region has right to hold a similar referendum.

Iraqi Kurds weren’t the only ones celebrating South Sudan’s independence. Kurdish politicians and thinkers in Turkey’s Kurdish areas also celebrated. Former chief of pro-Kurdish Rights and Freedom party in Turkey, Sertaç Bucak, said until 1989, the United Nations and Western countries considered the minority issue to be an internal affair. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, minority issues became an international issue. Furthermore, Bucak told the Globe the referendum in Sudan was the first time the U.N. observed this type of referendum. Remarkably, Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir respected the results of the referendum and attended the celebration of the independence of South Sudan. “South Sudan has showed the world that every nation has the right for self-determination.”

A Kurdish politician and writer in Turkey, Îbrahîm Guçlu, believes now it is the era for oppressed nations to get their rights. “I hope the South Sudan model will be repeated for all the oppressed nations, particularly the Kurdish nation.”

Pan-Arabism and political Islam have failed in South Sudan

Iraqi Arab leaders barely made a statement about the independence of South Sudan. Observers believe the Arab world has to draw the right lessons from it wants to avoid other Arab states breaking apart into ethnic and sectarian enclaves. The birth of South Sudan is first and foremost a testimony to the failure of the official Arab order, pan-Arabism, and especially the Islamic political projects to provide civil and equal rights to ethnic and religious minorities in the Arab world. The jubilation that swept the people of South Sudan at their independence from the predominantly Arab and Muslim north attests to the long-standing feelings of repression and alienation by a people, the majority of whom were born into the post-independence Arab world.

Lamis Andoni, an analyst and commentator on Middle Eastern and Palestinian affairs, wrote to Al-Jazeera and said Intellectuals in the Arab world should not comfort themselves by pointing — even though rightly so — to Western hypocrisy and double standards in supporting, embracing and recognizing the new state of South Sudan while effectively blocking the emergence of an independent Palestinian state. Arabs should look at their serious blunders and moral failures by facing the fact that the South Sudanese are an oppressed people whose grievances were against Arab rule and not against Western domination. It is true the people of South Sudan may still find themselves prey to greedy Western governments interested in their rich natural resources, but that does not change the reality that people of the new state celebrated the end of what they viewed as oppression by an Arab and Muslim elite.

“Pan-Arabism was initially an anti-colonial movement, some of its branches — especially the Baath Arab parties that ruled Syria and Iraq — demonstrated and practiced destructive racist policies and actions against other ethnic groups and nationalities. The case of the Kurds in both Syria and Iraq testify to different degrees of exclusivist, supremacist and racist policies by both Baathist political parties,” said Andoni.

“The Arab uprisings have already exposed the utter political and financial corruption of Arab leaders and the absence of freedom and justice. The Arab order has not only failed minorities and its non-Arab components, but the Arab masses as well,” she concluded.

“Israel’s” Ambitions in Lebanese Waters and the Balance of Power

Naziha Saleh
In the 1950's, the well known Lebanese scientist, Ghassan Kanso, discovered that Lebanon is swimming on a sea of oil.
During the 1960's, an American University of Beirut (AUB) graduate had said that a visiting Iranian geologist at the AUB revealed that there is a cavity that starts from the Mediterranean east shore to the eastern parts of Iran, and is full of oil and gas.

Dr. Ghassan Kanso in many newspaper interviews said there had been drilling for oil in Lebanon in 1953 which proved without a shadow of a doubt that Lebanon is rich in oil, mineral resources, and natural gas. He pointed out that during the drilling; a well in "Yohmor" was discovered but was later buried for political reasons as most Lebanese believed.

In 1960, A German Company dug wells on behalf of the Lebanese company for oil in the town of "Sohmor". This exploration was in search for natural gas at a depth of 180 meters underground on the same geological layer, parallel to the gas wells in Syria, Turkey and Iraq. The company also drilled wells in "Adloun" south Lebanon and stopped for a political reason.

The Lebanese Army Magazine mentioned in its August 2010 issue the following:
The Italian company drilled two wells in 1963, one in the area of ‘Tel Znoob' and the other one in ‘Sohmor'. German companies also conducted geophysical studies in ‘Hermel' in the middle of the last century and indicated the presence of oil and gas. Later in 1982, Bulgarian company re-explored oil near ‘Hermel-Qamua' and this was confirmed by reports from the Lebanese internal security forces, specifically that the Bulgarian team had found oil at a depth of 380 meters. One could suspect that political reasons are behind stopping those drilling too.

Going back to the Scientist Ghassan Kanso, he stated that it is possible to find minerals in the following places:

• Iron: Margie, Akkar, Qamua, Hrar Hawla, Dahr el-Baydar, Western Bekaa, Beit Din, Ain Aar, bsharry and balousy (hundreds of millions of tons of iron).
• Gold: Laqlouq, Brital, and Hatchit.
• Aluminum: Hesron, Hmlaya, Wady ljamajim, Tarshish and Jeita.
• Phosphates: West Bekaa, Lypaya, Nahly and Sidon.
• Coal: Beit Din, Hator, Zhalta, Arsoun, Zibdin, Qornayel, Jezzine, Mayrouba, bsharry
• copper: Brital was sure rich in gold, silver, marble, clay and the expensive onyx
As it is known from the history of countries rich in oil, oil plays a major role in international politics, and much of the policies in the region are affected by oil politics. That is why Lebanon should be prepared to face a lot of pressure and threats by Israel and the countries supporting it; as the USA and the European Union. The reason behind this is that the "international community" has not blessed any kind of self development of the Arab countries.

After the Oil law was drafted by the Lebanese parliament on the 17th of August 2010, and after so many years, the current Lebanese government (Mikati cabinet) has decided to reopen the file and begin working on this matter. This move has put Lebanon on the oil map despite the expectations that Israel would put pressure on Lebanon to deprive it from its oil. This pressure is not only to stop the Lebanese from development, but also to revenge their defeat in the 2006 July war. In addition, Lebanese oil would imply Lebanese economic growth, which is something "Israel" would not favor.

Lebanon announced the discovery of the Leviathan and Tamar oil sites in its territorial waters; a fortune estimated to be worth $40 billion. In this context, the "Israeli" minister of national infrastructure, Uzi Landau, threatened last June in an interview with the Bloomberg news agency, "Israel is willing to use force in order to protect the natural gas reserves discovered off the northern shores".
"We will not hesitate to use our force and strength to protect the gas not only by the rule of law but by the international maritime law (although "Israel" is not a maritime law signatory), our very existence here is a matter of occupation for them. These areas are within the economic waters of "Israel"", he further claimed.

Under all this pressure, the recent Lebanese government, and as a national priority, has proceeded in building up the data which was discussed with experts in the field.
Energy and Water Minister Gibran Basil confirmed in the opening of the first international conference held in Lebanon in the beginning of June 2011, "Lebanon will rise and will be a country among the industrial countries." The conference included the participation of 85 companies from major local and international companies specialized in the oil sector. Basil stressed on the importance of the conference saying, "It gives the first indication of the seriousness of Lebanon and designs the final stages to allow it to be an exporter and extractor of oil and gas, and not just a consuming country as it used to be".

This decision was made inspite of knowing that there is an international decision to avoid the development of the third world countries which are in a state of war with "Israel", and only "Israel" has the right in development in the Middle East. Despite the fact that there was an experience in the exploration for oil in Lebanon at the beginning of the last century and was banned because it is related to development, the current Lebanese government decided to face all these pressures, and work on achieving Lebanese rights in oil and natural resources.

Some analysts have said that after the Ethiopian air crash in Beirut Airport, some French, British, Cypriot and American warships joined the efforts to search for the victims, and prevented the Lebanese army from searching because it was related to the exploration of oil. At that time, all the ships that came did not give any answer about the Ethiopian plane, but were here to search on behalf of "Israel" to make sure that the field under the Lebanese water is full of gas as well as the one in Palestine. In this case one may ask many questions about what and who was behind the crash?
We are waiting to see what the plan of the Lebanese government will be in the next phase, and what will the next step be in the relation with Cyprus; whether it will or will not respond to the Lebanese government's request to correct the mistake of the demarcation and give Lebanon back the five kilometers.
"Israel" will keep threatening Lebanon with international laws, which "Israel" does not abide by, in order to halt Lebanon's drillings and discovering of its resources under the sea. The "Israeli" aggressor will put so much pressure on the countries and companies which have accepted to drill in Lebanon. However, what we know for sure is that Lebanon will face another kind of resistance other than the military and Political resistance.

Lebanon now has to prepare its "economic muscles" to resist "Israel". It has to believe in its right as the military resistance did to gain the battle against "Israel" so far, and has made a big change in the region's balance of power.

Former CIA Officer: Israel Will Bomb Iran in September

Robert Baer, a longtime CIA officer who spent 21 years in the Middle East, told a Los Angeles radio station Saturday that he predicts that Israel may mount a strike against Iran in the fall, before vote on a Palestinian state.

While the CIA former officer didn't reveal the sources behind his prediction, he referred to former Mossad chief Meir Dagan's warnings of an Israeli attack on Iran as "no bluff."

Baer told the KPFK Los Angeles show Background Briefing that previous comments made by Dagan that an Israeli attack on Iran could lead to a regional war tell with near certainty that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is planning an attack. "In as much as I can guess when it's going to be, it's probably going to be in September before a vote on the Palestinian state," he said.

He added that Netanyahu is "also hoping to draw the United States into the conflict, and in fact there's a warning order inside the Pentagon to prepare for conflict with Iran."
The senior CIA officer warned, meanwhile, that such a move will drag the United States into another major war and endangering US military and civilian personnel throughout the Middle East and beyond.
He predicted a scenario in which Israel would attack the Natanz nuclear facility as well as a couple of others to degrade their capabilities. "The Iranians will strike back where they can: Basra, Baghdad," effectively forcing the US to "jump into the fight" with attacks on Iranian targets, he added.
"Our special forces are already looking at Iranian targets in Iraq and across the border (in Iran) which we would strike. What we're facing here is an escalation, rather than a planned out-and-out war...it's a nightmare scenario. We don't have enough troops in the Middle East to fight a war like that. I think we are looking into the abyss," he said.
