Kerry visits Egypt to counter Iranian influence

Egypt-Flag-64[1]John Kerry, Obama’s new Crypto-Jew foreign secretary, landed in Cairo on March 2. Ahead of his arrival, Obama called his Egyptian counterpart Dr. Muhammad Morsi. Both leaders talked about Syria, Israel, Gaza, local economy and country’s democratic process.

“The two Presidents discussed regional security, and President Obama welcomed Egypt’s continued role in advancing regional peace and maintaining the ceasefire in Gaza,” said the statement issued by Morsi’s office.

John Kerry, on his part, is expected to tell the regime in Cairo about the decision by the Rome conference of The Friends of Syria to provide non-military support to the Syrian rebels, and discuss the UN plans to convene an international conference on making the Middle East free of weapons of mass destruction. The conference was originally due to take place in December 2012, but was postponed because the Zionist regime refused to attend the conference. The Islamic Republic has already held two such conferences in Tehran.

Billionaire John Kerry’s main agenda, however, is to sell IMF to the new Egyptian regime in order to keep Cairo dependent on pro-Israel western powers. According to US source, Kerry will stress that if Cairo accept $4.8 billion loan from the IMF, that would bring more funds from the US, EU and oil-rich Arab ‘royals’ like Saudi Arabia, Qatar and UAE – all western stooges.

Kerry met with Amr Moussa, top minister under former pro-Israel dictator Hosni Mubarak and current Arab League head Nabil Elaraby. However, former head of IAEA, Dr. Mohammed ElBaradei, a Nobel laureate, refused to meet Kerry. Kerry will meet president Morsi on Sunday.
I bet Kerry is going to warn Morsi never to equate Jews with vampires, apes and pigs, as he criticized his Turkish host Erdogan for equating Zionism with fascism recently.

During his first visit to Cairo in February 2013, Iranian president Dr. Ahmadinejad had renewed his country’s offer to provide a long-term loan to Egypt to help free herself of western economic slavery.

Washington-based columnist George Hishameh wrote at Jordan Times (February 21, 2013) that Obama will be visiting Israel in March just to please Jewish lobby groups at home even though he realizes that his chances of launching an urgently needed peaceful settlement between Israel and its Arab neighbors is limited.

Egypt has always been the center of Arab politics.

Five Egyptians Killed in Port Said Clashes

(AFP) / 4 March 2013

Five people including two policemen were killed in overnight clashes between security forces and protesters in Egypt’s restive canal city of Port Said, the health ministry said on Monday.

Hundreds were also injured in the clashes which began on Sunday after authorities decided to move prisoners awaiting a verdict over alleged involvement in a deadly football riot last year.

The two policemen died from gunshots to the head and neck, an interior ministry official said.
Of the 586 people were injured in the confrontations, 16 had been shot with live bullets and 27 from birdshot, according to Ahmed Sultan, head of emergency services.

A security official said earlier that protesters threw petrol bombs and stones at the police station in Port Said, where a general strike entered its third week. Police responded with tear gas.

Traffic in the Suez Canal, a vital waterway for global commerce, has not been disrupted, the canal authority said.

The interior ministry said it decided to move prisoners from Port Said, starting with the 39 remaining defendants over the February 2012 football violence, because it wanted to avoid unrest.

The court verdict, expected next Saturday, is for the 39 defendants in a case which resulted in death sentences in January for 21 other defendants, sparking clashes that killed at least 40 people.

Residents of Port Said and other canal cities have long complained that Cairo marginalises them.
Last year’s football riot which killed 74 people, mostly supporters of a visiting Cairo team, exacerbated Port Said’s isolation, residents of the city say.

Overnight clashes also erupted in Cairo between police and protesters near Tahrir Square.

Police fired tear gas to disperse the crowd as they approached a luxury hotel on the banks of the Nile which was damaged in clashes last month, a security official said.

Officials say calm has since been restored to the area.

Egypt has been gripped by nationwide unrest in recent months, with protesters taking to the streets to denounce Islamist President Mohamed Mursi for failing to address political and economic concerns.
Opponents accuse Mursi — elected in June last year after a turbulent period of military rule — of failing the revolution that brought him to the presidency and of consolidating power in the hands of his Muslim Brotherhood movement.

The Nile Delta has also seen its share of unrest, with a civil disobedience campaign declared in the province of Daqahliyah.

One person was killed and dozens injured in clashes over the weekend between police and protesters in Mansura, the province capital.

The fraud of the "chosen ones"

Zionists design myth of jewish genome to usurp palestine

By Jim W. Dean

They perpetrated the fraud solely to support the bogus biblical claim to Palestine which was anchored in their being a separate people. This distinguished them from all others because they claimed a land title in their blood. They bet the farm on this DNA proof of purchase, a God given bar coded passport to the Palestine. Dr. Ehaik just erased the bar code. It was just stamped on anyway, because it was never in the blood.

Related Interviews:

'Zionists dictate policy to Harper govt.'
    'Many people find Zionism unacceptable'

On Decemever 14, 2012, Dr. Eran Elhaik turned almost two generations of Jewish genome research upside down. But he went even further. The young Israeli-Ameican geneticist has charged former researchers with academic fraud, and he has the research to back it up.

How could those those eminent Jewish scientist before him have been so wrong? Easy says Dr. Elhaik, “First these researchers decided what conclusions they wanted to find, and then they set off to find evidence to support it.” I was not bashing Jewish scientists. What Elhaik has described is a slam dunk fraud.

But why? Why would Jews who take such pride in the academic achievement risk exposing themselves to a group deception which was bound to be discovered later? Dr. Elhaik does not delve into the quicksand of the politics, but I will gladly do so.

Why, why did they do it? The second half of the answer not revealed in his research was that you had a bunch of atheist, communist Jews shoot their way into taking over the Land with the sole moral cover that 'God gave it us only'.

Before I had a bookcase of Judacia in my library I must say I was a bit suspicious of these atheist Jews whipping out God's dual land title and passport. It was propaganda of course. It always was. And the story for another day is why did an entire academic community who should have known better, cower down and debase themselves in their own community by allowing the fraud to not only be birthed, but continued?

Arthur Koestler's The Thirteen Tribe was a major influence in cracking the fraud. It was published in the day when Zionist propagandist were very savvy in not attacking an esteemed Jewish author. They had no fear from the academic community, already neutralized, and Kostler's book did not generate a moral tipping point challenge to the Zionist false claim on the Land.

Dr. Elhaik literally nails the fraudsters to the cross, “....[they] assumed that the Jews constitute a group that is genetically isolated from other nations.”...That's because Jews were never genetically isolated, making all those other studies fatally flawed and very often contradictory.

I was wondering what weapon of mass destruction that the Jewish Lobby bullies would unleash upon the young Israeli-American geneticist. I expected to be reading about Alan Dershowitz denouncing him as a self hating Jew, when actually that is what Dershowitz is. He and Abe Foxman compete for the most negative Jewish stereotype/best bully competition award annually.

But there has been no attack. The 32 year old Dr.Elhaid is getting the Arthur Koestler treatment, in spades. What do I mean? Well, his research paper was published by the Oxford University Press, in the prestigious journal Genome Biology and Evolution. But do you think a bunch of savvy Zionist propagandists are going to worry about the mass public ever hearing a thing about his research? Of course not. And are these same pretend-a-Jews going to risk giving his work a 100 times more exposure by attacking him publicly?

Let's get back to Dr. Elhaik hammering the nails in, “First these researchers decided what conclusion they wanted to find, and then they set off to find evidence to support it...It is my impression that their results were written before they began the research. First they shot the arrow - and then the painted a bull's-eye around it.”

Take a moment to ponder what he said there, folks. Does that sound like someone trembling in fear of Jewish Lobby power in America, or someone thinking that his career is over and committing hari-kari? No. That 'painted a bull's-eye around it' was not an off the cuff remark, but one he had chosen to use in a Haaretz interview. This is a young man who is NOT standing on the shoulders of the fraudsters who have gone before him. On the contrary he wants to stand on their academic bones by exposing them, and he has.

More from his Haaretz interview, “The various groups of Jews in the world today do not share a common genetic origin. We are talking here about groups that are very heterogeneous and which are connected solely by religion...[the] genome of European Jews is a mosaic of ancient peoples and its origin is largely Khazar.”

Now onto some of the science highlights. Dr. Elhaik's research shows that the dominant element in the genetic makeup of European Jews is Khazar. For Central European Jews it is 38%, while for East Europeans it is 30%. To that you can add his findings that in both groups their genome is mostly Western European. Surprise, surprise.

The Roman empire is the dominant lineage there, those that settled on the frontier, like retired soldiers, and the locals with whom they produced families. There were some Jewish merchants there as Elhaik did find some Middle Eastern roots which he suspects are Mesopotamian and a bit of biblical Israel.

But here comes the slam dunk...the Israel connection is such a tiny part of their overall genome that it cancels out their DNA title claim to the Land. The good doctor would not wander into this swamp but I will, by calling a spade a spade. What Dr. Elhaik has discovered folks is a 'reverse holocaust', the inventing of huge numbers of pseudo-Jews who have no more a blood claim to the land of Palestine than I do, even if I converted.

What I have just stated in no way challenges a religious or cultural affiliation. But as we all know, most Jews are not religious, including in Israel where way more than most are not. Subtracting that, then all you have is the tribe, the DNA, which unites them to a shared history of persecution. But that folks, is now all gone. Poof...gone.

Who among use does not have some genetic make up of a people who had suffered in ancient times, even numbers of different peoples, five or ten different ones? Why should we allow the pretend-a-Jews to send all of our gene pool to the back of the historical suffering bus as Club Med ancestors who enjoyed the 'all inclusive' treatment. I find that just a bit too convenient.

So these 'Jews', are they then just a gang, united to be against all those not in the gang? Have they invented the whole story in a way like gang members take an oath and defend territory? And is that not where Herzl and others before him saw an opening, that the Land could be a territory bond to unite Jews who were always fighting like cats and dogs amongst each other?

And is not the 2000 years of persecution claimed mostly by those who are not really descended from those actual people? Who really has holocausted whom here, and why? We had Golda Meir's instant holocausting of the Palestinian people with her infamous, “There are no Palestinian people.”

Is this not poetic justice from Dr. Elhiak, that he brings us scientific proof of there being no biblical Jewish people as such as they have presented themselves? And does this not also make a fraud of the historical 'anti-semite' smear, by a people who aren't even semites?

I think it might be time to start setting things straight on the Founding Myths. I must admit that I never expected to get a free ticket to the truth from a smart young Iaraeli doctor from John Hopkins who has his moral rudder deep in the water. He is not a gangster, whoever his ancestors were. We call this...leadership, with maybe a touch of Moses parting the Founding Myth waters for those who want to walk through to the other side.

We shall now see if others choose to be free, or to run with the gang. The militant Israelis, they always knew this day was coming. That is what their nukes have been for, always. They knew. They never believed it themselves.

US budget cuts wouldn’t affect USAID to Israel

On Friday, Barack Obama signed the so-called “Sequestration (automatic cuts) bill” after he and Congressional leaders failed to find an alternative budget plan. Originally put in place in 2011, the automatic cuts can only be halted by an agreement between the President and the Congress.
The Sequestration bill projects a $1.2 trillion budget cuts during next ten years. It will reduce US annual spending by $85 billion during March-October 2013. If carried out across the board, it will reduce US financial aid by $175 million, excluding $3.075 billion annual military aid to Israel. However, if the powerful Jewish lobby groups have their way – the automatic cuts will not affect the Zionist regime.

Douglas Bloomfield, former AIPAC chief lobbyist, wrote in the New York Jewish Week on February 27, 2013 – that AIPAC will be sending 13,000 of its activists to Capitol Hill telling pro-Israel Congress majority not to touch Israel’s $3 billion-plus US aid to Israel.

“At a time when sequestration is about to take a big bite out of the Pentagon budget, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) will be sending 13,000 of its citizen lobbyists to Capitol Hill next week to make sure Israel is exempted from any spending cuts,” wrote Bloomfield.

Most American taxpayers are not aware of the fact that Israel with the help of its controlled Senators and Congressmen has stolen over $3 trillion from them since 1970s. A tiny fraction of billions of dollars Israel receives, it invest through AIPAC to buy the loyalties of the US lawmakers. Several AIPAC officials are on record admitting that the lobby pushed America into war against Saddam Hussein. Now, AIPAC is the front-runner in Israel’s campaign for war in Iran.

On Friday, new secretary of defense, Chuck Hagel, and his deputy Ashton Carter criticized the automatic cuts, by saying: “The impending across-the-board cuts will continue to cause this department to put at risk our ability to be effective and fulfill all our missions“. To put it simply; ”No more wars for Israel.

The Zionist regime is due to receive $211 million from Washington this year to buy more Iron Dome batteries (Pentagon has already replaced the batteries Jewish army lost against Hamas rockets in November 2012), and $268 million for the current US-Israeli missile programs.

Holocaust: ‘Only Jews can make fun of it’!

The old-dam of US show-business, Joan River (Russian Jewish Joan Alexandra Molinsky), has refused to apologize for making joke about the Holocaust on her TV show “Fashion Police”, insisting that was just part of her Jewish humor to remind the public about Holocaust. I think, River was making fun of president Barack Obama who in his speech at the UN General Assembly, last year, called Holocaust as sacred as the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and Jesus (as).

River’s “antisemitic” joke involved a dress worn by German supermodel Heidi Klum during Monday’s Oscars episode of her show, saying: “The last time a German looked this hot was when they were pushing Jews into the ovens“. The joke made Israel lobbyist Abraham Foxman jump on his seat. He slammed Joan River with a statement, saying: “Of all people, Joan Rivers should know better. This remark is so vulgar and offensive to Jews and Holocaust survivors, and indeed to all Americans, that we cannot believe it made it to the airwaves“. So the Guru is telling us that all 300 million Americans are Jewish!

After learning that Joan River is no Hillary Clinton, Abe Foxman, wrote a letter to Suzanne Kolb, President of E! Entertainment Television, urging the network to prevail upon Ms. Rivers to issue a formal apology, and to remove the segment from future broadcast. A similar request made by Abe Foxman in the past, have resulted in River’s telling Foxman’s organization ADL to, “shut the f-ck up”.

In 2011, French Jewish historian, Dr. Roger Dommergue Polacco de Menasce, issued an open letter to Hollywood’s top Jewish producer, Steven Spielberg, saying: “No Sir, you will not find ONE witness who saw 6 millions Jews slaughtered. You will not find ONE witness of Zyclon- B- gas chambers to exterminate 1000 or 2000 people at a time, close to the crematoria. See my ‘Shoa Sherlockholmised’ herewith: it is the summary of 20 years study on the subject. The ‘6-million-gas-chambers myth ‘is an arithmetic and technical nonsense“.

German comedian Oliver Polak is not ashamed to tell his audience on stage that he doesn’t believe in Zionist narrative of the Holocaust; ‘Six Million Died’. Polaks, known as ”the only German Jew comedian“ has been criticized by Israel lobby groups for making fun of the new Jewish religion. Polak response has always been: “I’m allowed to do that. I’m a Jew“. Sometime, Polak even has made fun of the Central Council of Jews in Germany, whose leaders have slammed Polak’s Gentile audience more than the comedian for laughing at his anti-Holocaust jokes instead of showing their guilt for what their Nazi ancestors had done to the European Jews.

Recently, Israeli TV program “Eretz Nehederet” aka “A Wonderful Country” portrayed a group of Israeli high-school students on a visit to a Nazi ‘death camp’ in Poland. They made funny remarks about the Holocaust narrative. The skit amused many but also offended some who asked: “How dare a humor and satire program poke fun at the Holocaust and its symbols?

Dr. Hajo Meyer, an Auschwitz camp survivor, in 2010, claimed that Israeli Jews are carrying out Palestinian Holocaust. Dr. Norman Finkelstein quoted his mother making a similar statement in his book, ‘The Holocaust Industry’.

American Jewish writer and blogger, Roger Tucker, refuses to accept the “six million” numbers and the existence of gas chambers. He says the myth was created by Zionists for the survival of Israel. “The subject is important because there would be no Israel if it weren’t for the general acceptance of the official holocaust narrative. If historians are able to cast sufficient doubt on these elements of this story then whatever justification there has been for the existence of this bizarre “state” will disappear – and good riddance,” wrote Tucker.

Let us not forget British Jewish writer and blogger, Paul Eisen, who is not ashamed to claim that he doesn’t believe in Holocaust.

John Kerry “ignores” Israel during his foreign tour

Kerry with Brothers
Two week ago, John Kerry began his nine foreign nations (Germany, Britain, France, Italy, Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and UAE – all pro-USrael and anti-Syria) tour as Obama’s new foreign secretary. Kerry’s choice of those nations in Europe and the Middle East shows Obama administration’s concerns over America’s dwindling prestige and hegemony in the region.

John Kerry’s scheduled trip ahead of Obama’s visit to Israel was postponed, according Kerry’s Jewish spokeswoman Victoria Noland – because Kerry would escort Obama during his pilgrimage to the Wailing Wall. However, as expected, Kerry’s antisemitic action was criticized by Israel’s several propaganda media organs – from Brookings to BizPac Review to Wilson Center.

Marvin Kalb compared Kerry’s action at Brookings (February 22, 2013) with Barack Obama’s “historic” visit to Cairo (Egypt) in June 2009 when Obama avoided to visit Tel Aviv. “Obama got off on the wrong foot in his dealing with Israel, and nothing much happened in the US-Israel relations for the next four years,” wrote Kalb. He also asserted that “Kerry, by skipping Israel, is missing an opportunity to create a better relationship with Israel. That’s too bad, because Kerry could have done what his boss did not do at the beginning of his first administration. Without Israel’s cooperation or atleast understanding, the United States cannot do very much to advance Palestinian issue“.

Alan Bergstein was more paranoid at the BizPac Review (February 22, 2013). He said that while John Kerry is visiting nine nations – “instead of stepping foot in Israel, he will give it the middle finger“. Then Bergstein explained why Kerry’s action made him very mad. “He has called for a shared Jerusalem, the reurn of Golan Heights, a two-state solution and destruction of the settlements. His family’s Jewish history is also a bit of an embarrassment. Marrying into millionaire-billionaire family and hobnobbing with stiffed-neck (Jewish) Boston crowd doesn’t go well with the family’s original name of Kohn. For all he’s worth to Israelis, Kerry could avoid visiting Israel for his entire stay in office. That would be refreshing“, wrote Bergstein.

One reason I can think of Kerry’s not visiting the Zionist entity at this moment is – that both Kerry and his boss believe Netanyahu, at the moment, is too obsessed with Iran’s nuclear program to discuss any other issue. As Aaron David Miller wrote in the New Republic (February 7, 2013): “The inconvenient truth is that if you put Benjamin Netanyahu and Mahmoud Abbas in a room tomorrow, their talks would fail galatically“. Miller said that ”an imploding Syria and the mullah’s spinning centrifuges” are on Kerry’s mind now. “Ignore the Israelis and Palestinians for now; it will be good for them,” added the cunning Zionist Jew.

May be that’s why John Kerry told reporters that president Barack Obama, during his visit to Israel this month would not be discussing Palestinian issue with Israeli leaders.

To make the situation even worse, The Times of Israel reported on February 28, 2013 that Obama may call-off his March 20 trip to Israel – if Netanyahu fails to form a new governing coalition by March 16. Because in that case both Obama and Kerry will not have Israeli counterpart to conduct meaningful talks.

Foreign imposed "Regime Change" illegal under International Law

“Foreign imposed ‘Regime-Change’ violates the UN Charter in letter and spirit”

“Actions outside the Security Council would be illegal interventions and constituted crimes against peace or else aggressive acts, and those who decide on them would have to be brought to justice accordingly”

Interview with Professor Dr phil. et iur. Alfred de Zayas

thk. Syria was the dominant topic during the first days of the UN Human Rights Council session. Already on the second day of the spring session the Western states urged for a special meeting to deal with the events in Syria. The extremely biased media reports about the situation in Syria were mirrored by the statements of several countries. Similar to their unambiguous position in the Security Council Russia and China took a clear stance inspired by international law, bringing reason to this emotional debate that way. Obviously the West aims for another «Regime-Change» following the Libyan recipe and human rights violations are meant to provide justification for an intervention. In the following interview, US-American international law expert Professor Alfred de Zayas judges the situation in the Near East from the viewpoint of international law and also talks about the war preparations against Iran.

Zeit-Fragen: Some countries especially from the West, keep issuing statements about Syria at the Human Rights Council here in Geneva. As it seems, the West is urging for a mandate to militarily intervene like in Libya. How should we see that from a standpoint of international law?

Professor de Zayas: When we are talking about Syria, we should bear in mind why the United Nations were founded in the first place. We learn from the preamble that the objective of the UN is to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war, to protect people from conflicts and to solve conflicts peacefully. The principles and aims are made very clear in the UN Charter. This includes the policy of non-intervention. But what was at stake here was a conversion, a revolution, a corruption of the United Nations. The transformation of an organization of peace, a peace-promoting and peace-keeping organization into an organization engaging in «Regime-Change» this is totally against meaning and spirit of the UN Charter.
The Libya resolution was meant to protect the Libyan civilian population; however it was interpreted in a completely different way. The resolution was abused as a pretext to wage war and to overthrow the government. This is a turning point. The Russians and Chinese drew their consequences from this. If one intends to interfere in a civil war in order to protect the civilian population, this can be debated. But this resolution was abused; therefore China and Russia won’t put up with it any longer.

Is it fair to say that the veto of Russians and Chinese strengthened international law?

Absolutely. There was a real threat here for the principle of non-intervention, the principle of non-violence. To break down. It is also a vote for legal security. If resolutions get abused as in the case of Libya, one has to make it very clear to those responsible for the abuse that it is unacceptable, that it will not happen again. Should they wish to act outside the UN this would constitute a crime. It is a crime as defined by the ICC statute member states according to Article 5 of the International Criminal Court. If it had taken place outside the Security Council, it would immediately have been regarded as a crime and aggressive act, and those who decided upon this would have to be brought to justice accordingly.

In this line of argument any intervention bypassing the UN is definitely a war crime?

The question is, whether NATO would dare to intervene in Syria without resolution of the Security Council the same way as they did in the case of Yugoslavia. Syria is in geographical proximity to Russia and Russia will not put up with that. It is well-known that the Russians will take certain protective measures in such a situation. NATO has to think very carefully how this could escalate. At the time of the NATO intervention in Serbia, Russia was relatively weak. The reemergence of the Russians was still to come. I believe it is a totally different situation today as compared with the year 1999; it is not so easy any more to intervene. The intervention of NATO or rather of the so-called «coalition of the willing» in Iraq in 2003 would prove much more difficult today.

What is the task then of the UN in this situation?

The UN functions as a moderator for dialogue. We have all bodies for a reasonable and peaceful settlement of differences between states, such as the Human Rights Council in Geneva, the Security Council and the General Assembly in the USA. These are all arenas where differences between states may be articulated without engaging in violence. Article II para 4 of the UN charter is a legal proposition; it rules that the use of violence is prohibited, even the threat or aggressive gesture.

At the moment it is not only Syria, where we have an escalation...

If I look at Syria, the situation in Iran worries me even more. Whether Iran aims for the atomic bomb or not, is something we cannot tell any better than the International Atomic Energy Agency. Of course we would like to prevent the proliferation of nuclear weapons, which is exactly why the Non-proliferation Treaty (NPT) was introduced.

What was the objective behind it?

According to Article 6 of the NPT, this is quite explicit: nuclear disarmament. Total disarmament of all nuclear states. That is the USA, France, Britain, Russia and China. Considering that a number of nuclear states who possess nuclear weapons have never signed the Non-proliferation Treaty, namely India, Pakistan and Israel, one should not get hysterical about the possibility of Iran perhaps one day owning nuclear weapons, too. Even if Iran had them, they could never use them. As soon as Iran would use a nuclear bomb, it would face total annihilation. The Iranian government knows that very well. It is the same what we have already known in the 1960s, 70s and 80s, the possible nuclear destruction. The question, whether Iran has an atomic bomb or not, should not drive the world community into hysteria.

There are already thousands of atomic weapons around in the established nuclear states, and those weapons are not getting used. Why should one expect Iran to start a nuclear war? Actually, this would be quite obvious for any reasonable politician and hardly comprehensible.

Is that not further warmongering?

A cool analysis of the situation in Iran is one thing, another one is the agitation against Iran which can be read anywhere in the media today. Taking into account that this kind of war propaganda is actually prohibited by Article 20 of the UN Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, it is striking to note, that the press in the USA, in Great Britain and partially also in Germany is doing just that – engaging in war propaganda against Iran, using lies, half-information emotionalizations among other things, which cannot really stand up to serious scrutiny. Nevertheless an atmosphere is created in the USA by constantly repeated messages via FOX News and CNN, programming peoples’ minds into thinking that Iran poses the greatest threat to world peace. I think this can easily be pushed aside. It is what we in the USA call a «red herring», a method to fool people.

How could these tensions be solved?

A real disarmament of the region should be the priority. Basically, disarmament of the world would be desirable. Let us begin with the Near East. If we achieved a nuclear disarmament and a conventional one in the Near East, this would be a brave act. Israel would also join in because there is no international law at leisure, there is no sideway which is open to one state, but not for the other.

This would mean to comply with the Non-proliferation Treaty?

This is clearly the disarmament, as stipulated in Article 6 of the Treaty. This means that all states possessing nuclear weapons undertake to disarm. They have not done so far. This violation of the NPT is a much more blatant violation on the side of the nuclear powers than on the side of Iran. According to Article 3 of the treaty, Iran has been given the right to peaceful use of nuclear energy and even the right to international assistance in order to achieve the peaceful use of nuclear power. It is just a matter relating to Article 4, if the IAEA inspections are thorough, or whether the inspections have been undermined. It is a matter of argument, but it has never been a casus belli or a reason to provoke a quarrel or preemptive war. It should also be mentioned that the UN Charter concerning Article 51 is very clear: The right to self-defense exists, but there is no pre-emptive right to do so. I cannot say that Iran poses a potential threat, ergo you may attack Iran. It applies only when a country has been attacked and had no time to address the Security Council in order to get the UN involved directly; only in this case you have the right to immediate counter-measures, i.e. war, until the Security Council has become involved. The very moment, in which the Security Council takes over, defensive measures have to stop. That is, what Article 51 of the UN Charter means. It is not to be understood as a lex specialis that discards or replaces everything else. It represents a very limited possibility under very restricted conditions. If not, it is a crime against peace as defined by the Nuremberg Verdict and as described in Article 5 of the ICC Statute.    •

Israeli transport authorities claim that Palestinians entering “mixed buses” with Israelis will not be thrown off. However, several bus drivers say Palestinians will be only allowed to travel on the ‘Palestinian-only buses.’
The Israeli transportation ministry says it has launched ‘Palestinian-only buses’ as the Tel Aviv regime continues with its apartheid policies.

The ministry said the bus lines, which were launched on Sunday, would only give service to Palestinian passengers commuting from the West Bank to central Tel Aviv. The buses only stop in Palestinian villages.

Israeli transport authorities claim that Palestinians entering “mixed buses” with Israelis will not be thrown off. However, several bus drivers say Palestinians will be only allowed to travel on the ‘Palestinian-only buses.’
“We are not allowed to refuse service and we will not order anyone to get off the bus, but from what we were told, starting next week, there will be checks at the checkpoint, and Palestinians will be asked to board their own buses,” said an Israeli bus driver.

“It was the result of reports and complaints saying that the buses traveling in the area were overcrowded and rife with tensions between the Jewish and Arab passengers,” Israeli media quoted the transportation ministry as saying in defense of the plan.

Israeli security forces have been put on high alert to counter possible protests by Palestinians in the region over the racist move.

"Hundreds of foreign jihadis seen leaving Syria on Tuesday through Turkey"

FLC

DAMASCUS, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- "Hundreds of foreign jihadist fighters joining the battles against the Syrian troops were seen leaving Syria on Tuesday through borders with neighboring Turkey, the opposition Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported.
The reason behind the withdrawal is still vague, said the Observatory, citing one fighter as saying that his comrades "have been pulled out of Syria to join jihadists in Mali."
The Observatory said the fighters pulled out from Syria's northwestern province of Idlib, a main hotspot in Syria's long- standing conflict.
The Syrian government has for long accused Turkey of making its lands as routes for the foreign radical fighters in order to fight against the Syrian administration.
Meantime, the Syrian air force shelled the town of Kureen in Idlib earlier in the day, said the Observatory....
In the Kurdish-dominated district of Ashrafieh, clashes erupted earlier in the day between rebel fighters and Kurdish local committees, the Observatory continued...."

al Maliki: "Victory of the Syrian opposition means civil wars in Iraq & Lebanon, and instability in Jordan!"

FLC

BAGHDAD (AP) —" Iraq's prime minister warned Wednesday that a victory for rebels in the Syrian civil war would create a new extremist haven and destabilize the wider Middle East, sparking sectarian wars in his own country and in Lebanon.Nouri al-Maliki stopped short of voicing outright support for Syrian President Bashar Assad's embattled regime. But his comments in a wide-ranging interview with The Associated Press marked one of his strongest warnings yet about the turmoil that the collapse of the Syrian government could create...
"If the world does not agree to support a peaceful solution through dialogue ... then I see no light at the end of the tunnel," al-Maliki said in his office in a Saddam Hussein-era palace inside Baghdad's heavily guarded Green Zone.
"Neither the opposition nor the regime can finish each other off," he continued. "The most dangerous thing in this process is that if the opposition is victorious, there will be a civil war in Lebanon, divisions in Jordan and a sectarian war in Iraq."

'Turkey is harming US interests in Syria'

FLC

"...AMERICA’S ... rosy vision of a moderate and secular Syria after Mr. Assad’s downfall will not be achieved if the United States continues to depend on regional allies that have little interest in such an outcome.President Obama has relied heavily on Turkey in seeking to oust Mr. Assad and Secretary of State John Kerry is scheduled to visit the Turkish capital, Ankara, later this week. But Turkey is part of the problem. It is exacerbating Syria’s sectarian strife, rather than contributing to a peaceful and pluralistic solution.
While the Obama administration has encouraged a broad Syrian opposition coalition, in which the influence of Islamists would be circumscribed, Turkey has not been of any assistance whatsoever. Instead, the Turkish government has continued to throw its weight behind the Muslim Brotherhood. The Brotherhood dominated the Syrian National Council, which is headquartered in Istanbul, and has succeeded in eclipsing other groups within the new opposition coalition, effectively thwarting the American effort to empower non-Islamists.
Moreover, while sponsoring the Sunni cause in Syria, the Turkish government has made no attempt to show sympathy for the fears of the country’s Alawite, Christian and Kurdish minorities. The Alawites and the Christians have backed the government in large numbers and fear retribution if Mr. Assad is toppled.
Turkey has provided a crucial sanctuary for the Sunni rebels fighting Mr. Assad and has helped to arm and train them. Even more ominously, Turkey is turning a blind eye to the presence of jihadists on its territory, and has even used them to suppress the aspirations of Kurds in Syria. Last November, Islamist rebels from Jabhet al-Nusra, which has reputed links to Al Qaeda in Iraq, entered the Syrian town of Ras al-Ain from Turkey and attacked fighters from the Kurdish Democratic Union Party, known as the P.Y.D., which had wrested control of parts of northeastern Syria. The Nusra fighters were initially repelled, but have continued to cross into Syria from their safe haven in Turkey.
...... America can’t expect the Sunni Arab autocracies that have financed the Syrian uprising, like Saudi Arabia and Qatar, to help empower secular and moderate leaders in Syria. However, Turkey, a NATO ally, should be expected to promote a pluralistic, post-Assad Syria. It has not.
The Obama administration must therefore reassess the assumption that Turkey is playing a constructive role in ending the violence in Syria; it must also take a hard look at its own role in contributing to religious strife.
America’s policy of punitive sanctions and not-so-veiled military threats toward Iran has encouraged Turkey to assert itself as a Sunni power. The perception that Turkey enjoys American “cover” for a foreign policy that directly confronts Iranian interests emboldened the Turkish government to throw its weight behind the armed Sunni rebellion against Mr. Assad, Iran’s main regional ally.
Turkey quickly abandoned its stated ambition to have “zero problems with neighbors” and decided to join the United States in confronting Iran. It agreed to the deployment of parts of NATO’s antimissile shield, which is meant to neutralize a supposed Iranian missile threat.
Turkey’s shift flowed from the belief that it would gain power and stature and reap the benefits if America succeeded in rolling back Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
All of this suited the United States. Washington no longer had to fear that Turkey might be “drifting eastward,” as it did during the short-lived Turkish-Iranian rapprochement a few years ago, when Turkey broke ranks with its Western partners over the Iranian nuclear issue. Turkey also appeared to be an American asset insofar as it could potentially offset the influence of more conservative Sunni powers like Saudi Arabia.
But the Syrian crisis has had a radicalizing effect on all parties, including Turkey’s more moderate Islamist government. Under more peaceful circumstances, Mr. Erdogan might be able to live up to American expectations and promote a pluralistic vision for the Middle East. That won’t happen if the region is increasingly torn apart by violent religious conflict and its leaders believe that playing the sectarian card will enhance their power.
Removing Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq in 2003 had the undesirable consequence of empowering Iran. A decade later, America’s effort to remove Mr. Assad is partly an attempt to remedy this geopolitical setback. But, as in Iraq, it has had unwelcome consequences. Moreover, American policy toward Iran is encouraging opportunistic Sunni assertiveness that threatens to trigger Shiite retaliation.
The United States must beware of doing the bidding of Sunni powers — especially Turkey — that are advancing sectarian agendas that run counter to America’s interest of promoting pluralism and tolerance. Left unchecked, rising sectarianism could lead to a dangerous regional war. ..."
