كلمات عتب لروسيا الحليفة والصديقة

– لن تتأثر العلاقة التحالفية العميقة التي تجمع روسيا بسورية ودول وقوى محور المقاومة، بقيام موسكو بتسليم بقايا جثة جندي السلطان يعقوب، لحكومة كيان الاحتلال، خارج منظومة التنسيق، وموجبات التحالف، ومقتضيات احترام السيادة السورية. ومستلزمات الخصوصية التي يختزنها حدث بهذا الحجم ارتبط غالباً بمفاوضات تبادل ترتبط بها حرية الآلاف من الأسرى السوريين والفلسطينيين، لكن مقتضيات التحالف والحرص تقتضي المصارحة وتسجيل اللوم والعتب، وقوله علناً، طالما صار الأمر علناً، والرد من قلب العتب واللوم وربما الغضب، على كل الذين يحلو لهم تشويه صورة روسيا ورسم شبهات حول خلفياتها، أو ينخرطون منذ بدء الحرب على سورية بمحاولات النيل من صورتها كدولة سيّدة تتمسك بسيادتها.

– يعني الكثير أن تقول سورية إنها لم تكن على علم بقضية تسليم البقايا، بعد قول الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين أن استعادة الرفات تمّت بالتعاون بين العسكريين الروس والسوريين. وهذه رسالة سيادية كبيرة في قلب علاقة التحالف والصداقة، عنوانها أن ما جرى أكبر من أن يسهُل تمريره تحت الطاولة والاكتفاء بالحديث عنه في الغرف المغلقة التي تتمّ فيها مناقشة الخلافات بين الحلفاء. فالصورة التي نقلت عبر الفضاء ووصلت للأسرى في سجون الاحتلال وأشعرتهم بالغصّة والمرارة، تقتضي من الدولة السورية التبرؤ منها، وتستدعي القول لروسيا كحليف وصديق إن خطأ جسيماً تم ارتكابه بتوهم أن العلاقة التحالفية تحتمل تمرير أمر كهذا لتحقيق مكاسب إعلامية لصورة روسيا كدولة حريصة «إنسانياً» على استعادة رفات الجنود الذين يقتلون في الحروب وتسليمهم إلى ذويهم، وتقديم هذه الهدية لرئيس حكومة الاحتلال بنيامين نتنياهو عشية الانتخابات، ضمن تنافس أميركي روسي على الاستثمار في فوز نتنياهو الانتخابي.

– بات معلوماً أن «إسرائيل» أدارت قضية البحث عن الرفات بالتعاون مع الجماعات الإرهابية التي سيطرت على مخيم اليرموك، وأن مخابرات كيان الاحتلال فتحت باب التفاوض مع موسكو لتأمين نقل هذا الرفات إلى موسكو من ضمن التفاوض على انسحاب الجماعات المسلحة من مخيم اليرموك. وهنا لا صحة للكلام عن قيام روسيا من وراء ظهر الدولة السورية بعمليات البحث عن الرفات والقيام بنقله. كما لا صحة للكلام عن حسابات روسية أبعد من المكاسب الآنية، وكل ما ينسجه بعض الخيال المريض عن مشاريع تسويات روسية أميركية تتم تحت الطاولة على حساب سورية، وتتصل بأمن «إسرائيل»، منافٍ لحقيقة أن ما يقوله الروس هو أنهم وضعوا أمام نتنياهو شرط التوقف عن الغارات على سورية كثمن لهذا التعاون، وما تقوله وقائع الشهور الماضية أن روسيا قامت بترميم شبكات الدفاع الجوي السورية وأنها زودت سورية بالحديث والجديد منها، وما يقوله المنطق إن روسيا في وضع السيد القوي وليس ثمة ما يستدعي أن تتصرف بضعف أمام «إسرائيل»، وإن الأمور الجارية في المنطقة تؤكد صحة منطق الرئيس بوتين مع رئيس حكومة الاحتلال حول اتفاق فك الاشتباك الموقع عام 1974، والكلام منشور علناً، يربط هذا الاتفاق بقرارات الأمم المتحدة بعودة الجولان إلى سورية، ووقف أي عمل عسكري ضد سورية، وثمّة الكثير الذي يعرفه الروس وسيحدث على هذا الصعيد بعد الإعلان الأميركي الاعتراف بضم «إسرائيل» للجولان. – كان المطلوب ببساطة أن تصارح موسكو حليفتها دمشق بما يجري منذ بداية القضية، وأن تطلب تفويضها بإدارة مفاوضات لتسليم الرفات، بما يضمن مطالب روسية معينة، هي حق روسيا، لكنه يضمن الإفراج عن آلاف الأسرى السوريين والفلسطينيين، وإبلاغ تل أبيب عندما طلبت وساطة موسكو لتسلم الرفات ونقله، بأن القبول مشروط بقبول تل أبيب بهذا التفاوض المتعدد الأطراف، وما كانت حكومة نتنياهو قادرة على الرفض.

– هي غلطة… وغلطة الشاطر بألف، لكنها ليست خيانة ولا مؤامرة. وبين الحلفاء تحدث تباينات ويقع البعض بالتسرّع، ويتورط البعض بحسابات فئوية تُغري بالتجاوز، لكن التصحيح يجب أن يتم من ضمن منظومة التحالف، وروسيا ستبقى صديقاً وحليفاً وشريك الانتصارات الكبرى التي تغيّر العالم، و»إسرائيل» ستبقى العدو الذي تنتظره مقاومة في الجولان والذي سيدفع الثمن في مفاوضات تبادل لاحقة لبقايا جنوده الآخرين، حرية لآلاف الأسرى والمعتقلين.

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova’s Remarks on the Situation in Syria

Syria update

In the Idlib de-escalation zone, terrorists of Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham, a pro-Nusra alliance, continue to attack positions of the Syrian government forces. Towns and villages are continuously being shelled, resulting in Syrian civilian casualties. Over 350 shelling attacks were registered in March, which is twice more than in February.

The control of terrorists over the Idlib de-escalation zone naturally alienates and angers the civilian population there. Residents march in rallies, which are viciously suppressed by the militants, including with firearms. The jihadists’ aggressive actions are causing bloodshed and the deaths of women and children. Such incidents occurred as recently as late March.

As was noted earlier, terrorists in Idlib continue planning provocations involving chemical agents. On March 29, the Russian Centre for Reconciliation of the Opposing Sides released a detailed commentary on this matter, which was posted at the Russian Defence Ministry’s site. It points, in particular, to the complicity of the French and Belgian special services in staging such incidents, including selection of potential victims, preparation of medical facilities for recording videos, and deliveries of chemical agents to the Idlib de-escalation zone.

We have noted the briefing by a French Foreign Ministry official on April 1 in which we were accused of lying. I would like to say that there is nothing to comment on here. On a related note, I would like to once again draw your attention, including our French colleagues, to the fact that the Russian military covered the topic of preparations for chemical provocations in Idlid in a detailed and substantiated way and provided facts. It is a good idea for Paris to look through the documents before coming to the podium with improper accusations.

We call your attention again to the disastrous situation in the camp for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in al-Hawl, Hasakah Province. The camp is overcrowded, with a total of 73,000 people. Over 5,000 Syrians arrived there in the period of March 15 through 23 alone. Most of the refugees come from Baguz and other places where the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) with support from the US-led “Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS” continue mopping up remaining ISIS terrorists in the area.

Around 45 percent of al-Hawl residents come from Mosul, an Iraqi city that was liberated from ISIS in 2017 by the aforementioned anti-ISIS coalition. Let me remind you that back then “high-precision air strikes” by the US and its allies led to numerous casualties among Iraqi civilians, as well as considerable damage to the civilian infrastructure of the city. Thousands of residents were forced to leave their homes.

It is telling that the people who fled Mosul are unable to leave the al-Hawl camp and return to Iraq. The reason is that the SDF troops who control the camp do not let them out. Such an unconstructive position of the US-backed units causes grave concern. It appears that the US-controlled groups – whether in al-Hawl or in Rukban – are deliberately holding people and preventing them from returning to their places of permanent residence.

Meanwhile, according to UN data, al-Hawl is experiencing severe shortages of water and food, the camp lacks basic hygiene, there are shortages of medical staff, medical drugs and equipment. This leads to the spread of infectious diseases and aggravates the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the camp.

Unfortunately, the international community is unable to adequately respond to the misery of the refugees in al-Hawl. According to UN estimates, $27 million is needed for emergency aid. However, only $4 million have been raised so far. And this is happening against the backdrop of triumphant statements following the third Brussels Conference of international donors for Syria where the donors pledged a record breaking sum of $7 million. I would like to stress that we are talking about aid to a camp which is situated in the territory controlled by the US and its allies, with the involvement of UN mechanisms. It is a big question why such “generous” donors lack funds to save those people from their miserable state.

Syrian Democratic Forces’ proposal to establish international court on ISIS followers

According to media reports, Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) leaders are calling on the international community to establish a special international tribunal to prosecute foreign terrorist fighters (FTFs) as a successful conclusion to the operation to clear the eastern bank of the Euphrates from ISIS was announced.

Regarding the situation in Syria we would like to note that FTFs are present not only in the northeast of the country but also in the northwest. In particular, in the Idlib de-escalation zone where people from Europe, Central Asia and even Uighur Islamists from China are fighting with Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and other radical groups.

We proceed from the premise that foreign jihadists must ultimately bear the punishment they deserve for the crimes they committed. At present they can be prosecuted only at the national level in the countries from which those terrorists arrived.

As to establishing an international criminal tribunal, all responsible members of the international community should consider and work out the best response to this new FTF phenomenon and how they should be prosecuted. The formula must have a universal character and be applicable in different areas of armed conflict.

We draw your attention, once again, to the fact that Russia has on several occasions indicated its willingness to cooperate with all interested parties and partners in all areas of antiterrorism activities.

Question: The Syrian Foreign Minister said that Syria is not ruling out a military solution to the problem of the occupied Golan Heights; however, countering terrorism is a priority right now. How likely is a military scenario for the solution to the Golan Heights issue?

Maria Zakharova: In our opinion, this matter was laid down and specified in international legal documents. They were not adopted yesterday but many years ago, including as an alternative to a military solution to the problem. If at that time the international community, while having different approaches and views, including on the overall situation in the Middle East, did not find the strength to consolidate positions on this matter, perhaps we could speculate about various scenarios and options. At the moment, everybody relies on the international legal framework. This is why Washington’s demarche to recognise Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights was so risky as it erodes the international legal framework. I suppose we could say that the move by the United States struck a massive blow to the very international legal basis of a potential solution to this issue, and this is very dangerous. Moreover, I think that decades ago, the international community expressly asserted that there was no alternative to a political and diplomatic solution. The UN Security Council resolution is binding for all states.

Netanyahu: Trump Best Friend “Israel” Ever Had, Not to Evacuate One Settler Netanyahu Not to Evacuate ‘Single’ Settler from West Bank

“Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he had made clear to US President Donald Trump that he is not prepared to evacuate “a single person” from any West Bank settlements.

When asked if he knew the details of Trump’s “Deal of the Century,” Netanyahu told Channel 13 in an interview broadcast Friday that he knew what he had told Trump to include in the agreement.

“I know what I said: I said there can’t be the removal of even one settlement, and [that “Israel” insists on] our continued control of all the territory to the west of the Jordan,” Netanyahu said.

Asked in the interview, which was recorded on Wednesday, whether he had specified this to Trump personally, Netanyahu said he had set out the same positions to Trump and former US President Barack Obama. He elaborated that he had specified to Trump that he would not evacuate “a single person” from the settlements.

“You said that to Trump?” he was asked.

“Like that,” he said, adding that it had been recorded.

Were the US plan to contradict those positions, he indicated, it would not be viable. “As far as I am concerned, [the evacuation of settlements] won’t be there [in the plan], and if it is [in the plan], it won’t [happen].”

Trump, he said, “is the best friend “Israel” has had” in the White House, and respects his position, “as I respect his,” when he insists on something.

“All the settlements, without exception, those that are in blocs and those that aren’t, need to remain under “Israeli” sovereignty,” Netanyahu told interviewers Rani Rahav and Sharon Gal, adding that this would “eventually” happen.

Netanyahu highlighted his longtime personal connections to other world leaders in the interview, saying he speaks “eye-to-eye” with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Our neighbors, and the Iranians, hope to destroy us. The peace that you can get, it’s only from a position of power,” he said.

Saving Venezuela

The Russians and the Americans chose a luxury hotel room in Rome for their discrete diplomatic exchange on Venezuela’s political crisis.

The March 19 meeting between US Special Envoy for Venezuela Elliott Abrams and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov came on the heels of a series of events that set off alarm bells in the Kremlin.

In late February, the US attempted to use humanitarian aid shipments to instigate a confrontation between Venezuelan security forces and opposition factions.

Almost simultaneously, American-backed, self-proclaimed President Juan Guaido called for a foreign intervention while the party line in Washington remained unchanged – all options were still on the table.

Finally, Venezuela was struck by the first of two massive blackouts, which many suspect are the result of US cyber attacks.

Although the details of the tete-a-tete between Abrams and Ryabkov remain a secret, the latter did reveal that he articulated Moscow’s ‘red lines’ during the Rome meeting.

Ryabkov said that the American side was warned “against any temptation to resort to military power” in Venezuela.

“We assume that Washington treats our priorities seriously,” he added.

But the talks in Rome had clearly failed to compel Washington to change course, or as Abrams so eloquently put it, the two sides “did not come to a meeting of the minds”.

And so, just a few days later, Moscow offered proof that Ryabkov’s warnings were more than just a mere boasting exercise.

From Moscow to Caracas via Syria

On March 23, two Russian air force planes, carrying nearly a hundred troops and 35 tons of equipment, touched down in Venezuela’s capital Caracas.

Just like the details of the Ryabkov-Abrams meeting, the exact contents of the Russian shipment to Venezuela remain unknown to the public.

But the snippets of information released are meant to highlight the Kremlin’s readiness to confront the US-backed regime change operation against President Nicolas Maduro.

For starters, the man leading the Russian contingent in the Latin American state is the First Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Land Forces, Colonel General Vasily Tonkoshkurov.

Interestingly, Tonkoshkurov and his team passed through Syria on route to Venezuela.

The passenger aircraft landed in Damascus, while the heavy transport plane, which was carrying the equipment, flew via the Russian military’s Khmeimim air base outpost.

A few hours later, the men getting off the planes on the tarmac in Caracas were photographed wearing desert camouflage uniforms, similar to those worn by Russian personnel in Syria.

Although Moscow claims the deployment is the result of existing “contracts on military and technical cooperation”, it is doubtful that the Russians traveled to the Bolivarian Republic just to school the Venezuelans on how to use armaments that have been in their possession for years.

Instead, Russia insiders maintain that the men dispatched to Venezuela have spent years fighting back American attacks in Syria, which includes the shooting down of Tomahawk missiles.

Their expertise is a key component in readying Venezuela for any potential American military adventure.

Meanwhile, speculation is rife that the tons of cargo did not include weapons, but advanced technological equipment for data gathering and electronic warfare.

These are not only useful in direct military confrontations, but also in counterinsurgency warfare and in subverting so-called activism by the opposition.

Talking priorities

The arrival of the Russians in Venezuela may already be putting the wind in Maduro’s sails.

The Venezuelan leader, who exercised a great deal of restraint over the years when dealing with destabilizing forces in his country, now appears to be positioning himself to move against Guaido.

Earlier this week, Venezuela’s National Constituent Assembly backed the nation’s Supreme Court request to strip Guaido of his immunity.

The decision paves the way for possible legal proceedings against the 35-year-old over charges of inciting violence and engaging in illicit financial activity.

Naturally the news prompted a fresh round of threats from Washington, where officials promised that the “US will not stand idly by”.

Similar warnings followed the Russian deployment, too.

The US national security adviser, John Bolton, said that foreign military assets in Venezuela would be treated “as a direct threat to international peace and security in the region.”

But beneath all the chest beating lies the realization that Washington’s options in Venezuela have become extremely limited.

The acting Pentagon chief Patrick Shanahan has even openly hinted that the US is not considering military action as a way to resolve the Venezuelan crisis.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump – who initially told the Russians to “get out” – explained last Friday that his strategy involves “talking about a lot to a lot of people, perhaps President Putin.”

Whatever “priorities” Abrams ignored in Rome last month, he is sure to be listening now.

Irony Dome for Britain NOW!

An Israeli magician who bought himself a reputation as a spoon bender is now determined to bend British politics or at least the water pipes in parliament. Uri Geller, who vowed last month to stop Brexit by telepathic means, admitted on Thursday that he ‘telepathically’ burst pipes in the House of Commons.

Tweeting to the House of Commons on Thursday, Geller said he would not apologise.

“Yes I did it @HouseofCommons! I bent the pipes, and I won’t apologise, you all deserve it! #brexit #startfromscratch,” Geller wrote.

It is understood that water began pouring into the press gallery in what some have described as an “apocalyptic metaphor for Brexit”.

I do not think that anyone in Britain takes Geller seriously, however, since in current-day Britain people are charged and even imprisoned for expressing thoughts, I wonder how the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) is going to deal with an Israeli man who openly and unapologetically claims responsibility for vandalizing British public property?

If Geller continues to interfere with British politics telepathically, I would expect the Ministry of Defence (MOD) to advise the British public as well as the government on how it plans to counter this form of foreign intervention. Since Geller lives in Israel, I would believe that an Irony Dome made of an electro-magnetic shield could provide the nation with the necessary protection.

Meanwhile, Brits can feel safe in their dwellings as the Commons’ spokesman was quick to confirm that the water dripping last Thursday was actually caused by a leaky roof.

It may as well be possible that Geller is getting old and is seeing his supernatural abilities deflate. He probably aimed to bend some pipes but ended up breaking some roof tiles instead.

Pakistani PM Slams India over ‘Whipping up War Hysteria’ amid F-16 Tensions

Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has slammed India’s governing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for purportedly trying to use false claims of Pakistan using an F-16 in an aerial incident between the two states at the end of February to promote “war hysteria”.

He further criticized the Indian government for allegedly trying to lie about downing a Pakistani F-16, something that a recent inspection by Pentagon officials ruled out.

“BJP’s attempt to win elections through whipping up war hysteria and false claims of downing a Pak F 16 has backfired with US Defense officials also confirming that no F16 was missing from Pakistan’s fleet”, he said.

Commenting on the US inspectors’ report, which said that none of the F-16s in Pakistan’s possession were missing, Khan noted that “the truth always prevails and is always the best policy”.

مقاربة أخرى للقرار الأميركي حول الجولان

تتسم المقاربة الغالبة للقرار الأميركي الاعتراف بضمّ «إسرائيل» للجولان، بالتركيز على بطلان الضمّ والاعتراف معاً قانوناً، وتتناول المقاربة تشريحاً للموقف الأميركي الذي يضرب عرض الحائط بالمعايير والمواثيق الدولية، وتؤكد عروبة الجولان وهويته السورية وحق سورية باستعادته. وكثيراً ما تريد هذه المقاربات القول إنّ واشنطن وتل أبيب تتقدّمان خطوة إضافية نحو العدوان ووضع اليد على الحقوق العربية، فيرتبط ضمّ الجولان والاعتراف به بإعلان القدس عاصمة لكيان الاحتلال، ويرتبطان معاً بما يُسمّى بصفقة القرن، كمشروع يهدف لتصفية القضية الفلسطينية.

يجري ذلك بعيداً عن تفاهة حديث البعض عن بيع الجولان، وعن صفقة حول القرار الأميركي تقايض الاعتراف الأميركي الافتراضي بانتصارات سورية مقابل تخليها المفترض عن الجولان. وهذه التفاهة يكذب وجودها الرفض العالمي والعربي للقرار الأميركي، وهو ما كان يفترض أن تحلّ مكانه المباركة لو كان تعبيراً عن مثل هذه الصفقة المتوهّمة والمزعومة، أو بالأحرى المفبركة للتشويه والتشويش وإلحاق الأذى بسمعة سورية وانتصاراتها، التي ستكرّس بنتيجتها جهدها صوب الجولان، وهو ما يخشاه ولا يريده أصحاب قرار الضمّ ويخشاه من اعترف لهم بنتائجه، ويرتعد منه من يصوّره صفقة.

بين الموقف المبدئي والقانوني من القرار الأميركي بخلفية الدفاع عن موقف سورية وحقوقها، ومحاولات التلاعب السياسي لتوظيفه في مشروع تشويه سورية والتشويش عليها، تجب الإضاءة على عناصر مقاربة أخرى لا يجب تجاهلها، مقاربة تفهم وتتفهّم ضرورة التمسك بالبعد القانوني في التصدّي للقرار الأميركي، لكنها لا ترى القرار الأميركي والحال الإسرائيلية في وضعية القادر على الهجوم، والتقدّم خطوات جديدة في مسار العدوان، والمقصود مقاربة تنظر للقرار الأميركي في سياق حركة الصراع الدائرة في المنطقة منذ عقدين، والتي يشكل أمن «إسرائيل» وشرعنة وجودها العنوان الأهمّ فيها، منذ نجاح مشروع المقاومة المدعوم من سورية وإيران بتحرير جنوب لبنان.

النقطة الأولى هنا، هي أنه لو كانت لصفقة القرن فرصة حياة لما كان الإعلان الأميركي عن القدس أو عن الجولان منفرداً، بل لكان انتظر نضج قدرة الشريك العربي المفترض في الصفقة، ليكون لوقع الإعلان وتأثيره قيمة في تغيير وجهة الصراع والإعلان عن طي صفحة الصراع العربي الإسرائيلي، لحساب وجه جديد من الصراع هو التحالف العربي الإسرائيلي بوجه إيران وقوى المقاومة. وما صدر من قمة تونس العربية عن هذا الشريك العربي المفترض يقول إنّ الإعلان الأميركي، هو إعلان يأس من القدرة على تمرير صفقة القرن، يأس فرضه نهوض محور المقاومة وانتصاراته، وما خلقه من مناخ شعبي رادع لكلّ مشاريع التصفية التي تستهدف القضية الفلسطينية، ردع تكفل بشلّ قدرة الراغبين بارتكاب الخيانة على ارتكابها.

النقطة الثانية هي أنّ الاعتراف الأميركي بضم الجولان يختلف عن الإعلان الأميركي عن القدس عاصمة لكيان الاحتلال. فإعلان القدس هو إيضاح لشرط أيّ تسوية تقبل واشنطن برعايتها لحلّ القضية الفلسطينية، وإعلان الجولان هو إعلان نهاية فرص هذه التسوية، وبجمع الإعلانين معادلة جديدة جوهرها ما قد لا ننتبه له في العمق، وهو سقوط مرحلة كان الصراع فيها مع كيان الاحتلال قد تحوّل إلى صراع على الحدود على قاعدة الاستعداد للاعتراف بالوجود، أيّ مرحلة تنتظر فيها واشنطن اعترافاً بشرعية احتلال فلسطين وخصوصاً الأراضي المحتلة عام 1948 مقابل أن تعترف للجانب العربي بالضفة الغربية والقدس الشرقية والجولان. فالرفض الأميركي لضمّ «إسرائيل» للجولان كان انتظاراً لاعتراف سوري بشرعية احتلال فلسطين، وقد بلغ اليأس من الحصول على مثل هذا الاعتراف مداه مع الانتصارات التي حققتها سورية، فسقط مبرّر المزيد من الانتظار، فتمّ الاعتراف بضمّ الجولان لكيان الاحتلال. والسؤال البديهي هل نقبل الاعتراف الأميركي بضمّ الأراضي المحتلة العام 1948 ولا يضيرنا إلا الاعتراف بضمّ القدس الشرقية أو الجولان، بصفتهما الجزء المعروض للتفاوض كعنوان للتراجع «الإسرائيلي» في المفهوم المعروض نظرياً من الجانب الأميركي، من مشروع التسوية القائم على منظومة صراع الحدود لا صراع الوجود.

ثالثاً وعملياً تقول واشنطن اليوم بوحدة مصير الأراضي المحتلة، تلك التي تمّ احتلالها عام 1948 وتلك التي تمّ احتلالها عام 1967. فهي تقول إن الحقبة التي كان الرهان فيها على ميزان قوى عربي يسمح بانتزاع الاعتراف بشرعنة «إسرائيل» قد ولّى، وان زمن صفقة القرن، قد سقط، وإن انتصار سورية ومحور المقاومة قد أسقط مع الشريط الحدودي الذي أقامه كيان الاحتلال مع تنظيم القاعدة على حدود الجولان، كل رهان على قوة الشريك العربي لـ»إسرائيل» ولواشنطن من ورائها في تضييع وتمييع الصراع مع كيان الاحتلال، وأن الثقل يعود عربياً بعودة سورية وتعافيها إلى تحكمها بالقرار العربي المتصل بمستقبل الصراع مع «إسرائيل»، وأن النتيجة الأولى لهذا التحول هي عودة صراع الوجود إلى الواجهة بعدما تمّ طي صفحة صراع الحدود. فنموذج التسوية التي ترعاها واشنطن هو كامب ديفيد. الاعتراف بالسيادة المصرية المنقوصة على سيناء مقابل اعتراف مصر غير المنقوص بالسيادة الإسرائيلية على فلسطين كل فلسطين. وهذا الزمن قد سقط عربياً بانتصار سورية حيث نموذج التسوية المقبول هو نموذج جنوب لبنان، انسحاب إسرائيلي غير مشروط دون مقابل ودون تفاوض.

Iranian MPs Vow Countermeasure to Any US Action against IRGC

A number of 255 members of Iranian Parliament in a joint statement on Sunday said any action taken by the US administration against Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) would be responded with a countermeasure.

While throwing their weight behind the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, they [members of Parliaments] emphasized that “any move taken by US against IRGC will be responded with a countermeasure.

A part of the statement, which was read by Parliament Presiding Board Member Ahmad Amirabadi in today’s plenary session, states, “Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is one of the salient and great achievements of the noble nation of Iran. According to the Article 150 of the Constitution, IRGC is one of the powerful armed forces which has always stood by the Army forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In its glorious lifetime including eight years of Sacred Defense (Iraqi Baath regime’s imposed war against Iran in 1980-1988), IRGC has taken giant strides in the field of reconstructing and helping the regional governments in the fight against terrorism. The national security of Iranian nation and its armed forces is the Parliament’s redline. In case of any move taken by the US President Donald Trump or any other entity against IRGC, Iranian Parliament will take retaliatory measures.”

It is more likely that US government will put IRGC in terrorist list on Monday, Wall Street Journal quoted US officials.

Reacting to the US possible act against IRGC, Chairman of National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iranian Parliament Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh also said that double-urgency bill has been prepared to designate US military forces as terrorists.

“If Americans make this mistake and put IRGC in terror list, this double-urgency bill will be approved in the Iranian Parliament,” the senior MP told MNA today.
