Ex-NATO Chief: “Our Allies Funded ISIL to Fight Hezbollah”

Local Editor

Former US General Wesely ClarkA former US General admitted that the Takfiri group operating in Iraq and Syria, ISIL, was funded by US’ allies in a bid to fight the Islamic resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah.

In an interview with the CNN earlier this week, General Wesely Clark, who was the Supreme Allied Commander of NATO, said that ISIL “got started through funding from our friends and allies.”

“People will tell you in the region that if you want somebody who will fight to the death against Hezbollah, you don’t put out a recruiting poster saying ‘sign up for us we’re gonna make a better world.’ You go after zealots and you go after these religious fundamentalists. That’s who fights Hezbollah. It’s like a Frankenstein.”

General Clark did not specify exactly which US allies were involved the creation of the ISIL.

He is known for his critical comments regarding Washington’s war plans.

In a book published in 2003, he said the US is pursuing a campaign of wars that already started in Iraq and later include Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and finally Iran.

Netanyahu Popularity Declining Among “Israelis”: Shameful PM

Local Editor
20-02-2015 | 15:40

Not only was the gap between Tel Aviv and Washington worsening - amidst "Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's upcoming Congressional speech in the US joint congress meeting - but also was the Zionist PM's popularity among the "Israeli" public.

netanyahu

Based on an "Israeli" media article, "In "Israel", leaders aren't ousted for shameful conduct"; Netanyahu was slammed in the published state comptroller's reportfor being a shameful Zionist PM.

The so-called "Israeli" comptroller's report revealed the misdoings that occurred in Netanyahu's household. The report did not refer to the "Israeli" PM's personal life, but rather to the spending in the PMO (Prime Minister's Office)."

Moreover, the report did not include shocking affairs, big thefts, and huge fraud, although it pointed out to a "possible criminal offense on some issues" as "Israeli" media mentioned.
The report also handed some of the material over to the Zionist Prosecutor's Office that had begun looking into it. The things revealed in the comptroller's report pointed to "inappropriate, deceptive behavior, not necessarily a behavior which justifies criminal charges" declared Zionist media.

"Israeli" media compared Netanyahu's misconducts to "a child caught pulling a 20-shekel note out of his mother's bag. The child committed an offense, but the shame is felt by the parents. The same is true when the child is 66 years old."

That is to say, the "Israeli" public was the side affected by their PM's"embarrassing and shameful" deeds.

Furthermore, purists believing that politicians must be completely righteous were many; but in reality, "Israeli" media suggested that the Zionist public settled for a politician who met the minimum requirements: "Speaks the truth and doesn't take a bribe."

The Zionist media explained, "A prime minister doesn't have to be an exemplary figure. The way people climb up to this high position makes it almost impossible. Exemplary figures don't gather money and gifts from dubious donors, don't incite against competitors and rivals, don't trick voters, don't elbow their way to the top, aren't full of themselves."

Hence, what the "Israeli" public expected from the politician was to acquire the characteristics of leadership: "to make reasonable decisions and make sure that they are implemented, to take responsibility for mistakes. To improve our situation, not worsen it; to direct his gaze towards his people."

Drawn from the issues mentioned, Netanyahu "should be given a failing report card for, not the way his household is being run."

Ahead of the report's publication, the Netanyahu household set up an operations room: lawyers, media advisors and political advisors were called up in order to face the political turmoil.

Netanyahu abided by a policy he had learned from former PM Ehud Barak that you shouldn't fight with the controlling system: "You put your head down, promise to fix things and let it go away."

As the "Israeli" elections neared, attacks on the Netanyahus intensified.

By means of a counter attack on behalf Netanyahu, a video was released presenting the prime minister's residence as a broken home: Joseph Shapira, the comptroller who was appointed by Netanyahu, was presented as negligent and as a liar, andMeniNaftali, the housekeeper who uncovered the couple's disgrace, was accused of spending money.
In addition, the comptroller's report exposed inflated expenses in the prime minister's homes compared to the expenses at the President's Residence. Conversely, the comparison between the two was false due to the differences in political obligations of both.

"Israeli" media noted that for years that the Netanyahus were known as very frugal when it came to their own money. On the other hand, they were big spenders when it came to other people's money, including the Zionist entity's money, and even worse, the private money of hardworking employees.

Thus, this knowledge now became an official document, signed by the state comptroller; a fact related to Netanyahu that the "Israeli" public came to despise.

DECLARE WAR ON THE HASHEMITE DWARF KING OF JORDAN! DAMASCUS RATS EXTERMINATED

DER’AH:  It is no laughing matter.  The filth-merchant, Hashemite whore-mongering child molester and dwarf half-breed, Abdullah II, has all but declared war on us.  Now, it is time to make war against him and his rag-tag band of flea-infested bedouins.  There is no other conclusion to be drawn from the open collaboration with the Tay-Sachs breeding degenerate Zionist Ghetto State than that the British runt has thrown himself wholeheartedly into the fray with genocidal Erdoghan, the Saudi rat-monkeys, the Qatari cockroaches and the American war criminals.

Al-Mitaa’iyya on the Jordanian border:  In broad daylight, the “army” of Jordan gave a pack of rats belonging to Alqaeda logistical support as they penetrated Syrian sovereign territory between Control Post 62 and Control Post 63.  Armed with 5 American pickup trucks with 23mm cannons, GPS equipment, American satellite communications gear and maps provided by the Jordanians, the convoy came out of Samaa, Jordan and crashed into instant death because of the Big Surprise.  Monzer reports over 14 dead rodents lie in the wastelands between the 2 regions of Natural Syria with the carcasses rotting appropriately into the soil.  Many were able to rush back to Jordan where they were seen being met by Jordanian officers.  Make no mistake about it, we are at war with Jordan.

Der’ah City:  Masterfully planned raids were the order of the day here at the Media Building, the Main Post Office, Southwest of the SyriaTel Building, Al-Seeba Quarter and the Suwaydaan Neighborhood.  Over 20 rodents killed. I have no names.

Jaydoor:  With all fortifications now compromised, the SAA is advancing into this town and killing all remaining rodents.

Tal Al-‘Ulaaqiyya Village at the Dayr-Al-‘Adas-Kafr Naasij-Kafr Shams triangle, the SAA killed all these:

Ibraaheem Al-Hareeri
Khaleel Ibraaheem Al-Mubasbis
Saleem ‘Ali Salaama

Special Tribunal for Lebanon Refuses to Declassify Al-Akhbar Indictment

Al-Akhbar Editor-in-Chief Ibrahim al-Amin. Al-Akhbar/Haitham Moussawi
Published Friday, February 20, 2015
While the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) investigates the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, it continues to pursue a policy of secrecy in its public hearings. Now, its President David Baragwanath has stepped down to be succeeded by Judge Ivana Hrdlickova of the Czech Republic.
The STL’s Contempt Judge Nicola Lettieri has refused a request by Antonios Abou Kasm, the lawyer appointed by the tribunal to defend Al-Akhbar CEO Ibrahim al-Amin, asking the prosecution to hand over the indictment files against Amin and Al-Akhbar in the contempt case brought against them by the STL. Abou Kasm’s request was made as the spring hearing set for Amin and Al-Akhbar approaches.
Abu Kasm asked the STL to hand over the classified files via the STL’s office in Beirut, or the judge, so the defense can examine them. Judge Littieri, however, refused the request two days ago, saying that it is the defense lawyer’s duty to deliver the files to the defendant, at a time when there is no communication between Abu Kasm and Amin or Al-Akhbar, as the latter rejected the STL’s decision to appoint Abu Kasm as their defense lawyer.
Meanwhile, Al-Akhbar has learned that the former director general of the Internal Security Forces, Major-General Ali Hajj, sent three letters to the court, requesting copies of the statements made by witnesses who mentioned him during their testimonies, in the past as well as during recent hearings. According to available information, Hajj’s letters stressed that what the witnesses said in recent hearings “were political positions unrelated to the crime.”
At the STL, the judges of the Appeals Chamber elected Judge Hrdlickova as STL president succeeding Judge Sir David Baragwanath of New Zealand, who has served as STL president since October 2011. According to an STL statement, the judges re-elected Judge Ralph Riachi as vice president.
The statement said that Hrdlickova was elected for a period of 18 months, starting March 1, 2015. The election of the president and the vice president is in accordance with Article 8(2) of the STL Statute and Rule 31 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence. Judge Baragwanath will continue to serve as an Appeals Chamber Judge.
The STL statement said, “Judge Hrdlickova began her career as a judge in 1990 and has presided over both civil and criminal cases.” She holds a Ph.D. from the law faculty of Charles University in Prague in Shariah law and speaks Arabic. She was appointed an Appeals Chamber Judge in November 2012.
The president of the STL has a wide range of responsibilities, including oversight of the effective functioning of the STL and the good administration of justice, as well as representing the STL in relations with states, the United Nations, and other entities, the STL statement said.

State Department's Nuland Threw a Fit over Merkel-Hollande in Minsk

Victoria Nuland | Photo: ®REUTERSWants to "fight against the Europeans", is railing against EU's "defeatism"

This article originally appeared at Deep Resource

There are increasingly signs that Merkel and Hollande operated behind the backs of the Americans, when they travelled to Minsk last week, in an attempt to reach an agreement between the warring factions.

During a closed-door meeting at the Munich Security Summit, Nuland fumed that the Europeans needed to be fought:
Der Spiegel described a closed-door meeting, apparently reported on anonymously both to it and to the Bild newspaper, held by Assistant Secretary of State Nuland at the Munich Security Conference one week ago, with “perhaps two dozen U.S. diplomats and Senators.”
There Nuland gave instructions to “fight against the Europeans” on the issue of arming Ukraine to fight Russia.
She was described as “bitterly” referring to the German Chancellor’s and French President Hollande’s meeting with Russian President Putin as “Merkel’s Moscow junk,” and “Moscow bullshit,” and she welcomed a Senator’s calling German Defense Minister Ursula von der Leyen the “Defeatism Minister.”
We guess that “defeatism minister” has replaced “cheese-eating surrender monkey“. But apparently William Engdahl was right when he remarked that Merkel and Hollande had committed insubordination. And that is a good sign.
Now come on Francois, pick up the phone and call to Saint-Nazaire harbor and give permission for these chopper carriers to sail to Petersburg, Murmansk or Sevastopol. Perhaps the little monster will explode.
Nuland does not need not stinking peace, she wants a major conflict with Russia. But we 500 million Europeans need Nuland like the plague and should treat her as such.

Crimea and Palestine: Muslim Genocide by Jews

The current conflict in Ukraine has Jewish agenda written all over it. However, the history of the Native Crimean Muslim Tartars just like the Native Palestinian Muslims, is totally ignored by the Jewish-controlled media on both sides.
The Muslim nationalities of Eastern Europe have been victims of numerous ethnic cleansing campaigns since the late 18th century. Among those nationalities expelled en masse during the 19th century from their homelands were the Bulgarian Muslims, Circassians, and Abkhazians. The Imperial Russian government was involved in all these mass expulsions.
Under Jewish-controlled Soviet government, the genocide of Muslim reached to its peak. Crimean Tatars suffered from Joseph Stalin’s economic and political policies. Crimean Tatars had their first Nakba began in 1929-1931 when thousands of Crimean Tatars were deported to Northern Russia and the Urals. The forced collectivization of agriculture in the Crimea devastated the vineyards, orchards, and farms of the Crimean Tatars. This devastation contributed greatly to the 1932-1933 famine in the region. As the 1930s progressed Stalin began to curtail the cultural autonomy of the Crimean Tatars and persecute their intelligentsia. During 1937 and 1938, the Stalin’s Jewish dominated regime, executed a large number of Crimean Tatar intellectuals.
Contrary to Stalin’s oppressive policy toward Muslim Tatars, he established firstJewish state of Birobidjan in Soviet Russia.
The Nakba of the Crimean Muslim Tatars began in 1944, when the Red Army drove the Germans out of the lush and beautiful Crimean peninsula. After establishing control, the Russians began to load the natives onto trains and deport them to Central Asia. They accused the Tatars of collaborating with the Nazi enemy, though among them there were many brave and distinguished soldiers who had fought on the Russian side against the Nazis. The Soviets dealt with them as arbitrarily as did the Americans with their own native tribes: some two hundred thousand people, 15 or 20 per cent of the total Crimean population, were declared ‘hostile traitors’ and shipped away.
Palestinians suffered a similar fate at the hands of European after Ottoman Empire’s defeat in World War One. After the creation of the Zionist entity in Palestine by Jewish-ruled Soviet Russia, United States and Britain in 1948 – Over700,000 Native Palestinians were forced out of their ancestral homes by militant Jew terrorist gangs. This genocide in 1948 is known as the Nakba, which is Arabic for catastrophe.
The Tatars make up only 15% of the Crimean population, and yet are found at every level of economic life: they drive taxis, teach, practice medicine and grow vegetables. In short, these people have successfully integrated with the local population of Crimea with a minimum of fuss. Someday the deportation will be remembered as little more than a bad dream. Israelis should learn a lesson from Crimean Muslims that al Awda (right of return) does not have to be a disaster, but can be a new opportunity. Perhaps now Israeli readers will be able to stomach the line I wrote twenty years ago: “Inshallah the Palestinian refugees will also find their way back to their villages” - Israel Shamir said.

Turkey Attempting to Thwart Syrian Army Operation in the Aleppo Countryside

An armed fighter is seen before he attacks Syrian government forces in Melah region, on the north side of Aleppo, Syria on February 17, 2015. Anadolu Agency/Salih Mahmud Leyla
Published Thursday, February 19, 2015
Turkey has now involved itself in the battle raging in Aleppo’s northern countryside. Further, Turkey is said to be attempting to thwart the Syrian army’s attempts to cut off the road between the city of Aleppo and Turkish territories and break the siege around the towns of Nubl and al-Zahraa. Ankara opened the border to fighters and supplied them with what they need to preempt a new military reality in the area, where the Turkish state wants to establish a buffer zone.
Aleppo — Upon seizing control of the towns of Bashkoy, Ratyan and Hardetneen in Aleppo’s northern countryside, the Syrian army retreated in Ratyan. Government sources say that this retreat came in response to opposition groups mobilizing forces from the Aleppo countryside and, indeed, from within Turkish territory. The army began to reinforce its positions in Bashkoy, Hardetneen and the neighborhood it still controls in Ratyan. The same sources said that improvement in the weather conditions would allow them to resume the attack and encircle the neighborhoods under opposition control in the city of Aleppo, and so lift the siege imposed on Nubl and al-Zahraa (Aleppo’s northern countryside) since July 2012.

Regime sources say that the defining characteristic of yesterday’s “ferocious” battle was Turkish support for the armed groups, as evidenced by the transfer of fighters and military supplies from inside Turkey to Aleppo’s northern countryside.

Syrian army forces managed to infiltrate the two towns yesterday at dawn, but the battle intensified in Ratyan. Opposition groups (al-Nusra Front, al-Shamia Front, Hazm Movement and their allies) mobilized hundred of fighters to prevent the army from controlling it. Further, regime forces attacked the neighboring town of Bianoon in preparation for breaking the siege around Nubl and al-Zahraa, and cutting off the international road connecting Aleppo with Turkey through Azaz. This road is as good as blocked, even if the army does not reach it, because of the fighting going on there, which subsided yesterday night due to unstable weather conditions. But cutting off the international road near al-Zahraa does not prevent heavy reinforcements from reaching the battleground via Turkey. The border between Aleppo’s northern countryside and Turkey is still wide open, allowing the transfer yesterday of military and human reinforcements to the fighters in the vicinity of Nubl and al-Zahraa, and evacuating al-Nusra and its allies’ wounded to Turkish hospitals through the Bab al-Salam border crossing.
Regime sources say that the defining characteristic of yesterday’s “ferocious” battle was Turkish support for the armed groups, as evidenced by the transfer of fighters and military supplies from inside Turkey to Aleppo’s northern countryside, including Caucasian fighters who answer directly to Turkish intelligence.
According to information from the border city of Azaz, Turkish authorities opened up the Bab al-Salam border crossing near the city to fighters in an unprecedented way. Turkish involvement comes amid disagreements between armed groups, and the withdrawal of the Hazm Movement from the battlefronts, in addition to al-Nusra’s public message to al-Shamia Front asking it to withdraw support for Hazm. The Revolutionary Military Council of Aleppo accused al-Nusra and al-Shamia of harassing Hazm and leaking information to the Syrian army, which allowed the latter’s forces to advance along three fronts in Aleppo’s northern countryside. The Council announced in a statement its objection to al-Shamia’s military plans.
Army forces holed up in the eastern side of Ratyan, after withdrawing from other parts of the town. To the east of it, armed groups tried to infiltrate the towns of Hardetneen and Bashkoy to reassert control over them, after they fell into the hands of the army on Tuesday. But their attempts failed as they suffered many casualties at the hands of the Syrian army.
In the first action taken in this battle by the Popular Committees in the two besieged towns, they targeted two opposition transport vehicles near the entrance of Bianoon killing everyone on board. Syrian warplanes bombed a convoy of fighters on the international road, on the Turkish side, while another army unit consisting of 25 soldiers infiltrated Nubl and al-Zahraa yesterday at dawn, after 43 soldiers had reached the two towns the day before yesterday.
Flanked by al-Quds Brigade (consisting of Palestinian fighters from the Handarat refugee camp and fighters from Aleppo’s southern countryside), the Syrian army managed to advance in Mazare al-Mallah (al-Mallah Farms) and al-Maamel area towards the Castello Crossing to which the Aleppo-Haritan-Azaz-Turkey road is connected. Opposition groups tried to storm the southern farms but the army repelled the attack.
Inside the city of Aleppo, the Syrian army clashed with fighters in the area of Bani Zeid, while other fronts remained quiet, as the army withdrew from the buildings it entered in the vicinity of the Air Force Intelligence at Jamiat al-Zahraa front, after it booby trapped these buildings to prevent fighters from entering them. In addition, a number of civilians died when armed groups hit neighborhoods with mortar bombs.
How did the recent operation by the army affect access to Aleppan neighborhoods under opposition control? Which ways are open to get to these neighborhoods, as the army advances further?
Although the army has not closed the ring around Aleppo’s eastern neighborhoods, it has now become a lot more difficult to access the town by car. The last road through al-Jandoul Roundabout-Castello-Mazare-Haritan and Ratyan all the way to Azaz is no longer safe for fighters after army units advanced, and will not be open to civilians either as battles in the area rage.

Although the army has not closed the ring around Aleppo’s eastern neighborhoods, it has now become a lot more difficult to access the town by car.

With the army’s control of Aleppo’s Central Prison last May, Muslimieh road (the northern countryside’s main entryway) is no longer under opposition control. In addition, army control of the Handarat Hill last October put al-Jandoul Roundabout within the army’s range of fire, denying access to fighters. It remained open to civilians who, on their way to the Azaz highway, have to take a right before reaching al-Lirmon Roundabout — the site of constant clashes between the army and fighters — and to take agricultural roads through Castello and al-Mazare all the way to Haritan. The latter became an alternative roundabout to al-Lirmon Roundabout, where those coming from Aleppo’s western countryside and Idlib cross paths with those coming from Aleppo’s northern and eastern countrysides.
After recent operations, and as the army approaches the Northern Highway, fighters’ defenses retreated to buildings located to its south. This will deny people, who are going to and from the eastern neighborhoods, the ability to use the highway through al-Jandoul Roundabout. Instead, they have to disembark from their cars and cross Quwaik River at Bustan al-Sheikh Ruz — because the makeshift bridge built over the river is no longer safe for cars — to get to Sheikh Maksoud neighborhood and from there to al-Sakan al-Shababi north of Ashrafieh, then use dirt roads all the way to Castello and cross the Northern Highway through agricultural and dirt roads towards Haritan.
This is the only path to and from eastern Aleppo that is currently open. It’s the only geographical area left before the Syrian army closes the ring around the city.
In addition, large-load trucks cannot enter the city via the dirt roads, which get muddy in the winter. Food stuff and goods are often brought in on tiny trucks, commonly referred to as “Suzuki,” or slightly larger trucks.
