Uprooted Palestinians are at the heart of the conflict in the M.E Palestinians uprooted by force of arms. Yet faced immense difficulties have survived, kept alive their history and culture, passed keys of family homes in occupied Palestine from one generation to the next.
Personal note: While there are many sincere and 100% idealistic ICRC delegates, especially the young ones (so-called “first mission” delegates), most of the folks sitting in Geneva are russophobic scum who care about only 2 things: their careers and money from their donors. Over 80% of the ICRC budget is paid for by governments. I was unable to find a list state by state (if you find it – please send it to me), but you can easily guess where the money comes from.
Israeli soldier slapped the 9-year-old boy three times on his face because he said he did not throw stones at Israeli soldiers Before taking me to the military jeep, one of the soldiers beat me in my head and chest several times until blood started flowing from my mouth and nose.
A nine-year-old Palestinian child speaks about how Israeli occupation soldiers kidnapped him, beat him, interrogated and tortured him. I was playing with my friends in an area near the Israeli Apartheid Wall at around 4pm when an Israeli patrol suddenly appeared. Two soldiers opened a gate in the Wall and started to chase us. We were scared and started to run but the soldiers ran faster and managed to catch up with us. They also fired stun grenades in our direction. When they caught one of my friends I stopped running and they caught me. They did not tell me why they detained me.
Shortly afterwards a military jeep arrived and I was put in the back of the jeep where they made me sit on the floor. I refused and wanted to sit on the seat but the soldiers forced me on the floor.
The jeep drove for about 30 minutes to Al-Jalama Checkpoint. The other boys who were arrested with me told me it was Al-Jalama.
I was taken to a courtyard where a soldier asked me for my name and age and then started to speak in Hebrew but I did not understand what he was saying.
When they recognised I did not understand, another soldier came and spoke in Arabic with me. He asked me why did I threw stones at Israeli soldiers? When I answered: I did not, he slapped me in the face three times and went out.
I remained in the courtyard for about 30 minutes and then I was taken to a dark room with other boys including my brother where I sat on the floor. I remained there for about two hours.
After two hours, I was taken with the other boys to another room which had cameras and computers. The soldiers blindfolded me and then brought some mattresses and told us to sleep. They also brought us some apples and bread.
I slept until around 1am when soldiers walked in and told me they were going to release me. But, before taking me to the military jeep, one of the soldiers beat me in my head and chest several times until blood started flowing from my mouth and nose.
A military doctor came and cleaned the blood in my face and clothes. He placed a bandage on my mouth and another small one inside my nose.
Then, they took me to the back of a jeep where I fell asleep. The jeep drove to Salem Checkpoint where I was handed over to the Palestinian police, where my father picked me up and took me home.
An official source at the Syrian Foreign and Expatriates Ministry lashed out at some Gulf states for lacking independent decision and acting like tools in the conspiracy against Syria.
In comments on the statement issued by the Gulf-British Summit and the stance it included on Syria, the source said “The Gulf states do not own their decision and lack the slightest sort of independent political strategy and only know how to act like mere tools spending the money of their people for conspiring against Syria.”
“That’s why these states have invited Britain’s Prime Minister to be their shield because they are afraid of what the US President-elect Donald Trump has threatened,” the source added.
As for Britain, the Foreign Ministry source said after leaving the European Union, Britain is trying to seize the opportunity of the absent U.S. role at this stage to “restore the glories of its empire” and exploit the sense of defeat and weakness of the Gulf sheikhs to “blackmail them into getting more of their fortunes,” practicing the ugliest forms of hypocrisy and sacrificing all the principles it claims to uphold.
The source concluded its comments by saying that the Syrian people and its brave army, who are making successive victories against the takfiri terrorist organizations and their regional and international backers, pay no heed to the crocodile tears shed by the hypocrite advocates of fake democracy and their agents in the Gulf.
These tears, the source added, are regarded by the Syrian people as tears of defeat and frustration with Syria’s victory over the conspiratorial project targeting it.
It’s 04:00 a.m. Damascus time as the overwhelming progress is constant along the wide front of Aleppo. News of surrender and hardcore collapse of gunmen are being spread as fast as the bullets of victory, accompanied by sudden explosions heard in the military air base southwestern of Mezze district.
It is no longer a mysterious tale. The Zionist entity once again showed his hatred as appeals by the militant groups were load enough to call him to intervene to strike the Syrian army so he may save them in the defeated fronts.
This fact was openly aired by a Zionist media outlet that host Fahd Al-Masri, a spokesman for the so-called “National Salvation Front,” one of the Zionism cantons employed across the world.

“The new Syria will not be hostile to any State or any regional, Arab or international power, and the territory of the Syrian state in any way will neither be a base nor a crossing, nor a training, support or transit station for weapons, extremism or cross-border terrorism,” Masri promised one of the Zionist televisions in a direct message to the Israeli enemy.
When Proxy Fails, Principal Acts
Dr. Nabil Kanna, a political analyst from Damascus, told Al-Manar website that the war on Syria is a scheme made by the Zionists themselves. He linked the war with Wahhabism and the forces of Western arrogance at the same time, proved by that whenever the Syrian army achieves a progress on the frontline, the Zionist enemy wantonly interfered to lift the morals of the armed groups.
“Takfiris who are fighting the Syrian government on the ground are just tools of the Zionist enemy in the Syrian territory,” Kanna stressed, indicating that the same incident was repeated several times, especially lately, when Zionist bombing of Syrian military positions in Quneitra, rural Damascus and Mezze coincided with the army’s victories achieved in Aleppo.
Kanna touched on the direct Zionist intervention in Syria as the entity hosts people counted themselves as “Syrian opposition” living outside the country, including Al-Labwani and his ilk, who gave the entity assurances in case they [opposition] take power in Syria, stressing that the illusions of those people will remain illusions, and will go with the wind as the war on Syria ends and the country achieves victory.
Syria Will Triumph and That’s It!
The political analyst stressed in his interview with Al-Manar website that the war has reached its ends and the Western-Zionist- US-takfiri project in the region has doomed to failure.
“Therefore, this fiasco called upon the Zionist direct intervention in several areas and in several stages, as if the owners of this failed project are scrambling with their last end,” he elaborated.
In his words on Syria’s victory, Kanna compared Aleppo to Stalingrad when the Russians defeated the Nazist threat and saved the world, underlying that when Syrian army and allies are defending Syria, they are defending the whole world against the threat of terrorism.
In fact, it seems there is need to declare any victory made by the Syrian army in its war on terrorism, because the Zionist anger alone is enough to inform the world that the Syrian army and its allied forces are making consecutive successes in significant fronts, crushing the “Islamitized” tools of the Zionist entity in the region.
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said victory in the battle for the city of Aleppo will be “a huge step” in bringing the war in Syria to an end.
Al-Assad said the full liberation of Aleppo in northwestern Syria would deal a huge blow to the regional and international supporters of militant groups, al-Mayadeen television station said, citing an interview with al-Watan newspaper published on Thursday.
“It’s true that Aleppo will be a win for us, but let’s be realistic, it won’t mean the end of the war in Syria,” Assad said.
“But it will be a huge step towards this end.”
The Syrian president further said in response to a question about the possibility of a ceasefire in Aleppo that such a possibility was “practically non-existent, of course.”
“The Americans in particular are insisting on demanding a truce, because their terrorist agents are now in a difficult situation,” he said.
Washington would have no more trump cards to show if Aleppo is liberated, the Syrian president added.
Al-Assad said Aleppo was the “last hope” of militants and their supporters, “after their failure in the battles of Damascus and Homs.”
The Syrian president said the militants’ defeat in Aleppo would fully change the course of battle in Syria.
“The decision to liberate all of Syria is taken and Aleppo is part of it,” al-Mayadeen quoted the president as saying.
Al-Assad also stated that Turkey had done its best to protect the militant stronghold in Aleppo, but it has failed.
The Syrian government has been making advances in militant-held areas in eastern Aleppo, with recent reports saying that the military and its allies have managed to retake two-thirds of the territory that used to be under the control of the militants.
The conflict in Syria, which flared up in March 2011, has claimed the lives of more than 400,000 people, according to an estimate by UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura.
Syrian Mufti Ahmad Badreddin Hassoun is part of a delegation of Syrians currently visiting Ireland. The delegation consists of medical professionals as well as religious leaders. The above video shows Mufti Hassoun giving a talk before the Irish Parliament on December 1, comments in which he discusses the toll the war has exacted upon the Syrian people as a whole as well as a personal tragedy in his own family, with the death of his son.
The delegation’s visit reportedly also included a visit to Trinity College Dublin, and the visit has been reported on by a Catholic website (see article below).
Back in August I put up a post on a visit to Syria by a US delegation of peace activists, who had a chance to meet with Mufti Hassoun while they were in the country. Upon returning to the US, the delegation gave a presentation at the UN. You can find more on that here.

In Ireland, Doctors, Church Leaders Tell Horrors of Life in Syria
DUBLIN (CNS) — Fifty percent of Syria’s hospitals and medical centers have been destroyed or looted and their staff kidnapped, tortured or slaughtered, a leading Syrian surgeon told members of the Irish Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee.
Dr. Bashir Mohammad, a cardiologist, was part of a delegation of high-profile Syrian medical and religious leaders who appealed Dec. 1 for an end to punitive European Union sanctions against his country.
Mohammad was accompanied by Melkite Catholic Patriarch Gregoire III Laham; Syriac Orthodox Patriarch Ignatius Aphrem II; Syria’s grand mufti, Ahmad Badreddin Hassoun; and Dr. Ahmad al Khaddour, a cardiothoracic surgeon.
Khaddour, a professor of medicine at Damascus University, explained that the group had come to Ireland “to pass the message that Syria needs help.”
“The European sanctions have affected our medical system very badly. We have a shortage of medical supplies on a daily basis. We have children dying because there is no medicine and children suffering because there is no fuel for heating.”
He highlighted how the sanctions had depleted Syria’s “capacity and capability in a very devastating way to manufacture medicines and to treat our patients.”
“The sanctions have killed more people than ISIS,” he said, referring to the Islamic State.
Prior to 2011, when the conflict in Syria erupted, hospitals had always been a safe place, but they became a “soft target,” and the country’s pharmaceutical industry was now no longer able to meet Syria’s medical needs, Mohammad explained.
He contrasted this to the situation five years ago when the country was able to meet up to 95 percent of its own medical needs and was exporting its products to more than 54 countries.
Syria is now “reliant on medication from the black market and, with the weak purchase power of our currency, we are unable to buy medication,” he said.
He told Catholic News Service: “We have lost half of our hospitals and three-quarters of our factories for medication — lift the sanctions please. We are friends to America and to the West.”
Patriarch Laham described the delegation as “ambassadors for peace.” He also asked, “as patriarch, that the bishops’ conferences of Europe gather together to raise their voice for peace.”
Speaking to CNS, the 83-year-old indicated his own personal exhaustion with the conflict. “It is war, war, war. Enough war!”
Referring to the 1,435 years in which Christians and Muslims co-existed together in Syria, Patriarch Laham stressed that faith is “part of the solution” to Syria’s war.
“Faith can really help us to make peace in the world. My slogan is ‘We should stay together to build a new world; we can stay together to build the world; we want to stay together to build a new world,” he told the Foreign Affairs Committee.
Patriarch Ignatius told the committee, “We feel sometimes we are abandoned by the international community because all they talk about are the rebels and what the rebels are suffering. But nobody is talking about the real Syrian people who are under government-controlled areas and what they are suffering.”
“Suffering has gone beyond all bounds,” Patriarch Ignatius said.
The Orthodox patriarch, who escaped a suicide bomb attack last June, spoke about the difficulty of trying to live life in such a dangerous context.
“I live in Old Damascus, not far from the street where St. Paul was led to be baptized. Occasionally we get bombs thrown on us by rebels who live about 2 kilometers away. There is no safe place left in Syria for anyone, and all Syrians need peace.
“We want a new Syria — for all Syrians — that respects diversity and gives a chance to every Syrian to serve Syria. I don’t think that having an opposition that is armed will help Syria; no country in the world would accept that, be it a moderate or unmoderate opposition. Obama and the U.S. government trained thousands of people and spent $500 million on the so-called moderate opposition, but they all joined Daesh (Islamic State) or al Nusra — except for maybe four or five groups.”
As to the situation of Christians in Syria, he confirmed that, along with other people of faith, Christians were being targeted because they were not willing to take sides.
“Our archbishops have been kidnapped and we don’t know anything about them; there are many priests who have been killed and many churches have been destroyed and Islamic scholars are also being killed. All people of faith are being targeted because Daesh and others act in the name of Islam, but they do not represent the real Islam,” he said.
Hassoun, the grand mufti, recalled how when the conflict erupted in 2011, he was told to leave but refused because he wanted to be a “bridge of peace between the opposition and the regime.”
His refusal to leave resulted in his son’s assassination outside his university. Later, his son’s remains were dug out of his grave by the rebels and have never been recovered.
“This is the revolution in Syria — if it were a revolution to reform the regime I would have been with them, but it is a revolution to kill men,” he said, urging legislators to go to Syria and see for themselves “what they have done to us.”

The goals of the visit are to firstly send a fact-finding medical, religious, political and humanitarian mission to the Syrian Arab Republic from Ireland, as well as from other independent-minded countries; to encourage Irish charity and NGO groups to send aid to Damascus via Trócaire/Caritas and other transparent and credible conduits Syria’s venerable religious leaders recommend and to lay the foundations for a major international fact-finding and medical delegation to visit Damascus and environs on March 17th 2017, St Patrick’s Day.
The situation in Syria, as East Aleppo’s human shields show, remains very grave for all Syrians. Although this visit is strictly non-political it must be clearly stated that EU sanctions, in which Ireland is fully complicit, are responsible for more deaths than even ISIS. The bulk of the Irish people do not accept that rampant collusion or that of our media, which is a crimson blight on our neutrality.
Activists fear Israel is becoming a safe haven for paedophiles thanks to the country’s unique Law of Return for the world’s Jewish people.
A Jewish person from anywhere across the globe can be fast-tracked for citizenship in Israel, as well as their spouse, children and grandchildren.
An 1954 amendment to the law bans “a person with a criminal past, likely to endanger public welfare” but campaigners say sex abusers are slipping through the net.
“Israel is becoming a safe haven for paedophiles due to the unique opportunity available to all Jews from anywhere in the world to immigrate there,” said child abuse survivor Manny Waks, founder of child sex abuse advocacy group Kol V’Oz, speaking to The Independent.
Syrian soldiers standing atop the liberated walls of the Citadel hoist the Syrian flag and scoff at the huddled, terrified rodents begging for amnesty.
ALEPPO: We are on a roll. The rats are contacting the Syrian military authorities, bypassing their own chain of command, and asking for a 5-day respite for “humanitarian reasons”. The rats now know the SAA is in control of 75% of East Aleppo with a crushing, final haymaker still coming for them. The Syrian government has rejected any talk of ceasefire unless and until the rodents are ready to commit to withdraw out of the city completely to Idlib, surrender or die. Those are their only options.
Over 1000 citizens have returned during the last 24 hours to their homes in liberated areas of East Aleppo. In one area, it was reported that 10 former terrorists carrying Syrian identification were granted amnesty from prosecution after they laid down their arms and agreed to a debriefing by security services. There are negotiations afoot besides the talk of a 5-day ceasefire. Terrorists inside Turkey have initiated talks with the Syrian Army about a total withdrawal from Aleppo and redeployment near the Turk border. The SAA has reportedly rejected any talk of sending additional rodents to the Turkish terrorists fighting both the YPG, PKK and the SAA. That is now off the table.
In the meantime, SyrPer can confirm the liberation of all these areas of East Aleppo which occurred during the last 24 hours:
Aghyoor
Baab Al-Hadeed
Qaadhi ‘Askar
Nooreddeen Al-Zangi Avenue
Karm Al-Jabal
Al-Faraafira
Al-Mashshaateen
Baab Al-Nasr Avenue
Al-Khandaq Boulevard
Al-Hameediyya
200 citizens have been rescued by the SAA with all asking for medical treatment. Rodents in the areas mentioned above submitted to arrest in an effort to secure some kind of amnesty. All foreigners have left the area due to the unfortunate likelihood of being executed on the spot by militiamen.
As Canthama reported yesterday, the following areas have been totally cleansed of rodents:
Al-Sha’aar
Karm Al-Qaatirji
Tallat Al-Shurta
Al-Marja
Al-Shaykh Lutfi

Al-Tal: Just liberated, as we reported. 500 hyenas and 1,500 family members left Al-Tal for Idlib where they will either die or find some way to Europe.
Hawsh Al-Zhawaaria Farms: The SAA is advancing remarkably here. At the farms, the SAA destroyed all fortifications and bunkers built up by the savages killing a reported 17 and wounding scores. This area will be liberated within the next 48 hours.
Al-Mazza Airbase west of Damascus: Several Zionist missiles fired from west of Abu Al-Nadaa in Occupied Palestine’s West Bank struck this base last night at 3:00 a.m. No reported casualties. A fire did start causing fuel to explode. No other damage reported.
