Traitors Torture Palestinians in PA Jails

Haneyya gov't: 26 detainees tortured in PA jails

[ 26/10/2008 - 03:36 PM ]

GAZA, (PIC)-- The Palestinian government headed by premier Ismail Haneyya on Saturday held the PA-affiliated preventive security and intelligence apparatuses in the West Bank fully responsible for the lives of 26 political detainees who have been exposed to brutal torture for 40 days in their jails.

In a statement received by the PIC, Taher Al-Nunu, the spokesman for the government, said that the detainees do not see the sunlight during their detention, pointing out that there are a number of imams among the detainees.

Nunu reviewed forms of torture practiced against political prisoners in PA jails such as tying prisoners' hands behind their back, then suspending them from the ceiling, filling the cells with water so detainees cannot sit for long hours, or torturing them with electricity on sensitive areas of their bodies.

The spokesman underlined that the continuing torture of prisoners in PA jails and the daily arrest campaigns against Palestinian citizens in the West Bank refer to the absence of any genuine desire to render the Egyptian and Arab dialog efforts successful.

The Hugs and Kisses did not help Abbas , hopefully (he thinks) going after the resistance will be able to help him and get the israelis to approve of him , his Security Agents are doing just that , while the Settlers hurt the Palestinians in the open . when the Israeli soldiers attack Hebron , Jenin or Ramallah the Security Agents simply Vanish but they show their muscles )like we say in Arabic , towards Helpless Palestinians . shame on the quizzlings .

Abbas not to attend Palestinian national dialogue "because he will be busy in arranging Fatah's internal affairs," said the official, who declined to give his name.

But, he issued a decree to include his media advisor Ahmed Abdel Rahman in the delegation.

...stormed at dawn Monday a civilian house in the Yatta town, south of the city, and opened fire at a 12-year old Palestinian child in the house, ... then chased the little Salah and took him to an unknown destination.
