GAZA, (PIC)-- Dr. Salah al-Bardawil, a Hamas leader and member of the PLC, said on Tuesday, that all information published lately about the negotiations over a prisoner-exchange deal were test balloons through which the enemy tries to gauge Hamas's position, no more.
He added that there is a certain team within the movement which is dealing with the Palestinian captives issue, no one else was allowed to talk about it and that Hamas's spokesmen did not possess the information or the authority to talk about the deal.
He continued: "Thus, all the information being circulated about the deal is just test balloons to get to know Hamas's position, no more, no less."
Bardawil refused to comment news of the Israeli government saying that 980 Palestinian captives will be released in two stages in exchange for the release of IOF soldier Gilad Shalit.
