DAMASCUS, (PIC)-- Maher Al-Taher, politburo member of the popular front for the liberation of Palestine, has said that the negotiations with the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) only served the IOA and the USA.
He said in a press release on Thursday that there is no Palestinian or Arab interest achieved in those negotiations, calling for dropping such futile talks from the Arab and Palestinian options.
Taher championed a new Palestinian working strategy for the next stage, describing any statement on a peaceful settlement or peace process as "deceptive" and allowing the IOA more time to go ahead in its aggressive program against the Palestinian people.
He said that Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu's recent statement about building more settlements constituted a blatant challenge to the Palestinians, Arab and Muslims.

He advocated revoking the Oslo accords and closing the file of the peace process.
