The Vultures over Syria

Three Arab client states, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain have recalled their ambassadors from Damascus to show their solidarity with US-Israel to destablize Syria. The other fools in the US-Israel game of creating another client state no matter even if Muslim Brotherhood heads it – are Damascus’ old allies, Turkey and Russia. Contrary to that, both Tehran and Beirut are fully supporting Bashar Assad’s leadership.

Recently, former British MP, George Gallowy, had claimed that Syrian regime is under foreign attack because they “have supported the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance and rejected any surrender to Israel”. In late June 2011, one of longest serving US lawmakers, Dennis Kucinich , after meeting Bashar Assad in Damascus, had blasted US media for fabricating propaganda lies about Syrian regime.

The Zionist hasbara lead by Rupert Murdoch’s ‘jingoism’ is making the same laughable accusations against Bashar Assad, which they have parroted against Qaddafi, Ahmadinejad, Chavez and Saddam Hussein in the past. I may point out two of many of the ‘inside’ sources quoted by western media to build-up its new crusade against Muslim world. It’s now welknown that the ‘A Gay Girl in Damascus’ blog was in fact run by a pro-Israeli American Tom MacMaster studying in Scotland.

The other is the Syrian “dissident” Ammar Abdulhami, a former ‘research scholar’ at the ‘Saban Center for Middle East Policy’ at the ‘Brookings Institute’ – established by Zionist Jew billionaire Haim Saban.

Professor Ahmad Moussalli, political analyst from Beirut told Press TV that foreign powers (the US, Israel, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Lebanese Opposition) are behind the riots in Syria and want Syrian regime to collapse.
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu meet President Bashar Assad the other day in Damascus. He urged Syrian government “to bring an end immediately to acts of violence and campaigns by the security forces against civilians”. A similar statement was made by Arab League secretary-general Nabil al-Arabi. Interesting the advice comes from Turkey which has a very notorious record of human rights abuses against its largest Kurd ethnic minority (over 25 million). Furthermore, Turkey, even a member of NATO is so insignificant player in the West that it has failed to receive an apology from Israel for killing nine Turk aid workers on board Gaza Flotilla, May 31, 2010.

Alaeddin Borujerdi, head of Iran’s Majlis’ foreign affair committee is visiting Egypt for the first time since the fall of pro-Israel Hosni Mubarak. He told Arab League’s chairman Nabil al-Arabi during a meeting between the two: “We must help Syria so we do not allow the United States to interfere in regional affairs”.

Here are two interesting articles on the situation in Syria, written by two independent journalists – Stephen Lendman, here and Matt Johnson, here.
