Biden Supports “Israel”, Makes Fool of Himself in Speech to Rabbis

US Vice President Joe Biden spoke to Jewish leaders in Atlanta on Tuesday, stating he has never been more worried about "Israel", and assuring that no one has done more for "Israel's" fiscal security in recent times than the president.

Not only that, but he also typically got in trouble by letting his "motor mouth override" what should be his common sense, as stated some "Israeli" commentators.

According to "Israeli" sources, Biden, despite his supportive words to the "Israeli" entity, has always "had a serious case of "foot in mouth" disease."

Before starting his speech at an assembly which consists of 1,600 Conservative Rabbis, he did the sign of the cross, which made the attendees burst in laughter.

In the speech he gave at the Rabbinical Assembly's annual convention at the Westin Hotel in Sandy Springs for 40 minutes Tuesday morning, Biden stated "I am more worried today about "Israel" than I have been any time in my career because it's a different struggle. The same old struggle exists, and we have to be vigilant."

"There is an international effort to de-legitimize "Israel", Biden said. Yet, he added, "At every point in our administration , at every juncture, we have stood up for the legitimacy of the state of "Israel"," in an attempt to defend the Obama administration.

He also said that the United States would "prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons," and said President Barack Obama's commitment to "Israel" is unwavering.

According to sources, considering that "making the cross sign" gesture is Christian in nature - and seeing that Biden was in front of a massive audience of Jewish faith leaders - it's certainly a noteworthy occurrence.

"Vice President Joe Biden is known for his verbal outbursts, inappropriate commentary and occasional factual flaps," The Blaze news site said commenting on the incident.

Biden's gaffes are not uncommon. According to the Huffington Post, while praising Chicago's former Mayor Richard M. Daley and former White House Chief of Staff Bill Daley back in a speech in April, Biden told the audience, "I never had an interest in being a mayor 'cause that's a real job. You have to produce. That's why I was able to be a senator for 36 years."

The assembly said Biden was invited to speak because he has been a strong supporter of "Israel" for decades.

With his re-election campaign in full swing, Biden said he is very proud to serve the Obama administration, telling the crowd no one has done more for "Israel's" fiscal security in recent times than the president.
