Syrian Arab Army Forces redeploy units around Jisr al-Shughour, destroy terrorists’ vehicle convoy coming across Turkish border

IDLEB, 25 April، 2015 ~ The army has redeployed its combatant units in the surroundings of Jist al-Shughour city in Idleb province to avoid any victims among the civilians and fortified its defensive posts in the city’s vicinity, while it launches airstrikes against groups of terrorists and their supply routes in the city, a military source said on Saturday.

The source added that the army units have since Friday morning been fighting fierce battles in Jisr al-Shughour region against terrorist organizations that flow, with large numbers, across the Turkish borders into the city.

The army aircraft destroyed a convoy of terrorists’ vehicles coming across the Turkish border at al-Qeniyeh-al-Janoudiyeh axis in the countryside of the norther province.

It also targeted another vehicle convoy for terrorists at the axis of Nahla church and al-Mualaqa area in eastern Jisr al-Shughour city, leaving dozens of vehicles with terrorists on board destroyed.

Dozens of more vehicles for terrorists were destroyed in army airstrikes in Bashlamoun, Ein al-Bardeh and Ein al-Souda in Jisr al-Shughour area.

Meanhwhile, terrorist organizations acknowledged on social media the loss of scores of their members in the ongoing battles in Jisr al-Shughour. Most of the killed are said to be from the Security Council-listed Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization.

The terrorists’ pages posted the names of many of their dead, including a Sudanese named Mohammad Makki.
