The Syrian army operation against the terrorist organizations continued on Monday targeting their positions, hideouts and movement axes in many areas across the country, state-run SANA news agency reported.
Moreover, the Russian Air Force carried out 33 sorties targeting 49 sites for terrorist organizations in the rural areas of Damascus, Aleppo, Idleb, Lattakia, and Hama province during the past 24 hours.
A military source said the Russian airstrikes resulted in destroying 32 bases and camps for terrorists, 8 of their fortified defensive positions, two command centers, 3 weapons and ammo depot, a lab for manufacturing narcotics, a workshop for manufacturing weapons and explosive devices in Aleppo, and two fortified underground sites in Hama, in addition to destroying a camp for the so-called 'Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant' (ISIL) takfiri group used for training snipers in Deir al-Akrad in Lattakia countryside.
According to the source, the airstrikes also resulted in destroying command centers for terrorists in the Eastern Ghouta area in Damascus Countryside, sending large numbers of terrorists fleeing, and at the same time terrorist Zahran Alloush announced a “general mobilization” following the airstrikes that destroyed terrorists’ gatherings in towns and villages in Eastern Ghouta.
The source said that reconnaissance revealed that ISIL is forcing its members to continue fighting using various methods, such as executing dissenters and injecting terrorists with narcotics to prepare them to carry out suicide attacks.
In Deir Ezzor, a number of vehicles and varied ammunition belonging to the ISIS terrorists were destroyed and scores of them were killed in operations carried out by the army and the armed forces on Monday morning against their dens in al-Hwaiqa neighborhood and al-Husseiniya village in Deir Ezzor province, according to field sources.
The sources added that an army unit bombarded with a rocket the so-called House of Vehicles in al-Hwaiqa neighborhood on the northern outskirts of Deir Ezzor City as it was completely destroyed.
The House of Vehicles is one of the biggest gatherings of ISIL vehicles and contains the headquarters of ISIL leaders, a large number of varied vehicles and huge amounts of weapons and ammunition.
A unit of the army also carried out concentrated strikes with heavy machineguns against positions of ISIL terrorists in al-Husseiniya village, 5 km to the north of Deir Ezzor City.
A number of terrorists were killed in the operation and others were injured and one of their machinegun-equipped vehicles was completely destroyed.
In the countryside of Idleb northern province, a unit of the army carried out bombardments against positions of al-Nusra Front terrorists in the surroundings of al-Taman’aa town in the southeastern countryside of the northern Idleb province, according to field sources.
The sources added that 4 terrorists were killed in the bombardments and a SUV was destroyed.
A vehicle equipped with anti-aircraft machinegun belonging to terrorists from the so-called Jaish al-Fatih was also destroyed by an army unit near al-Habit town, 8 km to the west of Khan Sheikhoun.
Later, a military source said the Syrian Army’s Air Force destroyed terrorists’ dens and vehicles in al-Tamane’a in Idleb countryside.
In the northwestern countryside of the neighboring Hama province, units of the army carried out special operations against dens and positions of al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations in Tal Zajram and to the east of al-Mansoura village.
Two of the terrorists’ machinegun-equipped vehicles were destroyed and all terrorists on board were killed.
Later, a military source told SANA that the Syrian Army’s Air Force destroyed dens and vehicles for terrorist organizations in Khatamlo and Um Maiyal in Hama countryside.
In Homs, dens and gatherings of terrorists were destroyed during army operations in Teir Ma’ala, al-Sa’an and the area surrounding al-Za’afaraneh in the northern countryside of Homs.
In Aleppo, army units in cooperation with popular defense groups reestablished full control over al-Sabkia town and the area surrounding it, according to military source.
The source told SANA reporter that the army is continuing operations in the southern countryside of Aleppo on many axes.
During the operations, the army killed many terrorists and destroyed their dens.
The Army combed the town and dismantled dozens of explosive devices which terrorists had planted there.
The Syrian Arab Army’s Air Force carried out sorties against gatherings and dens of ISIL terrorists in some villages and towns in Aleppo’s eastern countryside, inflicting heavy losses in personnel, vehicles, and equipment upon terrorists.
A military source told SANA that the Syrian Air Force directed concentrated airstrikes against gatherings of terrorists in villages and towns of Qseir al-Ward, Hweijeneh, Tal Istable, al-Halabiyeh, al-Dakwaneh, al-Mfalseh, Tal Alam, Rasm Harmel, Tal Abu Daneh, Hmemeh, Um Adaseh, Tal al-Mous, Shweilekh, Um Argheleh and al-Sheikh ahmad in the eastern and southeastern countryside of Aleppo province.
The air strikes left a number of terrorists dead and others injured, and destroyed a number of vehicles, some of which were equipped with machine guns, in addition to destroying weapons and munitions.
Earlier, terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages the death of the so-called military leader of Jaish al-Mujahideen terrorist group Sa’ad Ahmad Okab, member of their “Council of Free Aleppo” Ahmad Kharfan, and Emir of al-Nusra Front in al-Zirbeh Khaled Attawi in the army and armed forces operation in Aleppo province.
The terrorist organizations also posted the names of a number of their members who were killed while they were fighting against the Syrian army, among them Mohammad Rammah, Shahoud Majed Abdel -Aziz, Mustafa Rajab al-Badawi, Ahmad Mohammad Shibli , Mohammad al-Abboud and Hamed al-Sheikh Khalif.
In Daraa, an army unit carried out a precision operation against a gathering of terrorists in Saida town to the east of Daraa city, a military source told SANA.
The source said that many terrorists were killed, others were injured, and their ammunition and weapons were destroyed during the operation.
The army also carried out an operation targeting terrorists’ positions to the west of al-Yarmouk School in al-Naziheen Camp in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood in Daraa city.
Terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages the death of many of their members, including the terrorist Abu al-Kassim al-Majarish, the field leader of the “Salaheddin Division” terrorist group.
The Army launched accurate strikes against terrorists’ positions in al-Menshia neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad.
Many terrorists were killed or injured and their weapons and ammo were destroyed during the strikes.
An army unit eliminated a number of terrorists and injured many others during concentrated strikes against one of their sites near Attman town to the north of Daraa city.
