Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei called on Iranian officials to watch fraud of enemies during the implementation of the nuclear deal and to respond to repealing vows by repealing vows.
"Today, all officials, whether in the government in the committee of monitoring the implementing of the nuclear deal, must be aware of the tricks by the other party know that his smile cannot be trusted," Imam Khamenei said while receiving the officials in charge of holding the upcoming elections in the country on Wednesday.
"The officials have to make sure that what the other party is doing matches what they have promised of, and if they noticed any trick, they should respond the same way," he added.
Imam Khamenei said that "the nuclear agreement was an important and significant event, although it did not meet all our demands."
"Some people would say that the achievements were an American donation for Iran, but it's not true. The deal was done thanks to the efforts of the Iranian people and the efforts of our scientists," his eminence stressed.
Moreover, the Supreme Leader condemned the January 2 fury against the Saudi Arabia's embassy in Tehran as "a very bad and wrong incident".
"Like the British embassy attack before it, this was against the country (Iran) and Islam, and I didn't like it," he added.
Britain's embassy in Tehran was attacked in 2011.
The violence occurred hours after Saudi Arabia executed prominent cleric and activist Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr for calling for social justice in the eastern region of the kingdom.
Ayatollah Khamenei also urged preparing the ground for large turnout of people for the upcoming February elections.
"What I have always emphasized is that those who do not believe in the Islamic Republic governing system participate in the polls in support of national interests," the Leader added.
In a reference to calls by certain opposition groups who do not believe in Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Khamenei said nowhere in the word, one who does not believe in a governing system is permitted to enter the decision making circles.
"Certain opposition groups who are disloyal the Islamic Republic system have introduced representative for the February elections," his eminence said, adding that "in the upcoming elections the public should vote for one who does not betray while in power."
Ayatollah Khamenei advised the officials in charge of holding the elections to follow the rules as the base of country's stability.
"Country's legitimate institutions should not be insulted or weakened for their possible mistakes because if these institutions are weakened, chaos will replace stability of the country," the Leader said.
