ISIS: 'American-Zionist Tool' for Dismembering Iraq

Globe & Mail, Canada

"Strangely enough, America today is fighting ISIS, and has sent experts to Iraq for that very purpose. For whom? For the love of Iraqis? And for whose benefit does America support ISIS and provide it with weapons in Syria? For whose benefit does it support the al-Nusra Front? ... Today it is essential for us to stand against, pay careful attention to, and analyze carefully, all American and Israeli plans. We must all join to defeat their criminal designs for undermining Iraq, and their tool of implementation, ISIS."

President George W. Bush awards L. Paul Bremer, the former U.S. procosul of Iraq, with the Presidential Medal of Freedom, on Dec. 15, 2004.

No observer of events can justifiably describe America's role in the Middle East as one of a neutral advocate of liberty and peace, because the U.S. shows no concern for Arabs or Islamic interests. It is entirely concerned with securing its hegemony over the entire region to ensure the protection of its own economic interests and the security interests of Israel.

Following the 2003 occupation of this ancient society, which has well-established roots and stretches far back in history, America employed a reckless and cunning policy of spreading sectarianism in order to dismember and dissociate Iraq's social and intellectual fabric.

The United States knew how to sow its malicious ideas with the rules and regulations imposed by the notorious [U.S. Proconsul] L. Paul Bremer. Bremer dissolved the Army, and his de-Baathification allowed militias to integrate into the armed forces, which fostered sectarianism and religious, ethnic and racial strife, establishing a system that encouraged the division of Iraq. Ultimately, that was the key objective.

If America had been truly serious about putting Iraq on the right path and instituting a genuine democracy, it would have issued legislation to protect human dignity and the right of the people to live within a framework of liberty, peace, security and safety! Instead, the United States did just the opposite, disrupting Iraq's civilizational project.

Strangely enough, America today is fighting ISIS, and has sent experts to Iraq for that very purpose. For whom? For the love of Iraqis? And for whose benefit does America support ISIS and provide it with weapons in Syria? For whose benefit does it support the al-Nusra Front?

Everyone should be aware that America, with its policies of double standards, its purely demagogic methods, and its changing of colors in the region, are in place only to serve its own special interests. What does America and its Zionist and Freemason allies want from Iraq after the catastrophes of Mosul and Tikrit? [ISIS overran both cities and continues to occupy them].

Today it is essential for us to stand against, pay careful attention to, and analyze carefully, all American and Israeli plans. We must all join to defeat their criminal designs for undermining Iraq, and their tool of implementation, ISIS. And we much take special care not to exclude any of Iraq’s religions, ethnicities, or races. Iraq is in dire need of a nation that stands with our armed forces to deter these traitors and ISIS scum.

For the sake of protecting Iraq's land, sky, and water, and maintaining the cohesion of the nation, remember that Allah never forsakes those who believe in Him, and that defending the homeland is a sacred duty in all religions.

Army Raids Explosives Cache in North Lebanon

Local Editor

Lebanon: Fnaideq cave in the North The Lebanese army said on Saturday that detainees - who were arrested during raids in the northern Akkar region of Fnaideq over the past week - confessed to the existence of a cave in the region where they used to prepare explosives.

The army said in a statement that as a result of the investigations of Alaa Kanaan and Mahmoud Khaled, members of a terrorist bombing who were recently arrested, it raided the cave in question where it discovered bombs prepared to be detonated.

Lebanon: Fnaideq cave in the NorthCDs, several SIM cards, mobile phones, documents, and documented lessons on how to manufacture explosives were also discovered in the place.

The National News Agency reported earlier on Saturday that the army raided the areas of Fnaideq, al-Kafroun, and Jisr Ain al-Banat, in the north eastern of Lebanon.

It also raided the nearby Aziziyeh encampment for Syrian refugees in searching for wanted suspects.

Local media also reported that the detainees confessed to providing suicide-bombers, including the Beirut's Duroy Hotel assailants, with explosives.

Lebanon: Fnaideq cave in the NorthOne of the detainees confessed on Thursday to storing a number of explosives and weapons in property he owns in Fnaideq.

Also Thursday, the army raided another residence in Fnaideq where it seized 42 dynamite sticks, 34 120-millimeter and 80-millimeter mortar shells, 14 propellant charges for the mortar shells, and 36 stun grenades.

On Wednesday, a Saudi suicide-bomber blew himself up at the Duroy Hotel when he detonated his explosives during a security raid. His accomplice, also a Saudi citizen, survived the blast and is being questioned at hospital.

11 years too late, US media rebukes Dick Cheney

Former US Vice President Dick Cheney. (Photo: AFP)
Published Saturday, June 28, 2014
“If only ISIS had Dick Cheney to give them advice, it would help the United States (confront it),” “Dick wants to forget history and write his own version,” “Has he lost it?” “This man is audacious to the point of impudence.”
Former US vice president during George W. Bush’s two terms, Dick Cheney, was not attacked for what he did when he was in power the way he was attacked this past week.
The reason behind the current frenzy is Cheney’s media appearances in which he repeatedly said that “what is happening in Iraq is Barack Obama’s fault because he decided to withdraw.” And that he is still convinced that “the war on Iraq in 2003 was the right decision.”

Instead of Bush administration officials keeping their mouths shut, especially those who played a key role in misleading the US and world public opinion and launched a costly war on Iraq that the region is still paying dearly for, you have Dick Cheney speaking in their name without any shame or reticence. A conservative hawk who was one of the first people to promote the lie that Saddam Hussein “possessed weapons of mass destruction that threatened everyone’s security,” Cheney emerged showing no remorse for what he did, shirked responsibility for all the mistakes that the Bush administration committed and laid the blame on Obama.
Remarkably, most of the responses to Cheney’s statements were not limited to politicians like Bill Clinton and Senator Rand Paul, but came from journalists and media personalities. Most US media institutions attacked Cheney and recalled the disaster of the Iraqi invasion, the false campaigns and the failed strategy that led to Iraq’s current crisis in their opinion. As though reciting the act of contrition, only 11 years too late, journalists used Cheney’s shameless statement as an opportunity to write what they failed to write before, during and after the US invasion of Iraq.
Is it real fear of the threat posed by the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) that has prompted their response? Or are they lending support to President Obama? Are the reasons purely political or has a sense of professionalism and reason been suddenly awaked in US journalists? We will never know. But if you look at the articles published last week and listen to the commentaries of satirical and political shows, you will see unconcealed hatred for the entire era of George W. Bush and all the symbols and events that marked it.
Walter Pincus in the Washington Post recalled Cheney’s fiery and confident statements before and during the war about “how peace is going to prevail in the Middle East after Saddam’s regime falls.”
Paul Waldman in the same newspaper points out that Cheney’s recent statements do not tell us what he and his colleagues in the previous administration would have done about the Iraqi crisis now. He also recalls that it was President Bush who signed the agreement to withdraw all the troops from Iraq and not Obama, which makes Cheney’s accusations against the current president illegitimate.
Joan Walsh on Salon news website wrote that Cheney “apparently sits around imagining nuclear terror attacks.” Commenting on Cheney’s prediction a few days ago during a radio interview that “something is coming that will be worse than September 11, and soon,” Walsh asks: “Has he lost it?”
The famous comedian Jon Stewart mocked Cheney’s remarks last week saying sarcastically: “This.. guy acts like we were 20 seconds away from total victory in Iraq when suddenly Obama just gives it away.”
In The Los Angeles Times, David Horsey published a cartoon depicting Cheney sitting with members of hardline Islamist groups in Iraq, drinking tea and giving advice. He says: “First, assume you’ll be greeted as liberators.” The article accompanying the cartoon continues: “If he [Cheney] could steer them [ISIS] in the same self-destructive direction that he steered the USA, he’d finally be doing his country a favor.” Horsey’s article recalls that Cheney was one of the key architects of the Iraq war in addition to Donald Rumsfeld and Paul Wolfowitz. He says the outcome of these people’s actions because of their war in Iraq in 2003 has been: “chaos, instability, terrorism and sectarian bloodletting, from Libya to Syria.”
Other articles in US newspapers and magazines also recalled the numbers of dead US soldiers and Iraqi citizens to condemn Cheney’s statement that the Bush administration made “the right choice by invading Iraq at the time.”
What if these journalists and others were up in arms before the war on Iraq ten years ago? What if the US media did not participate in deliberately promoting the war that they are condemning now? It is a good thing for previous US officials responsible for the Iraq invasion to be held accountable on the pages of US newspapers, but what use is it now as it comes a bit too late?
“Unseemly”
In an interview on NBC, former President Bill Clinton described Dick Cheney’s remarks as “unseemly.” Media outlets reported Clinton’s statement while the conservative media objected. “I believe if they hadn’t gone to war in Iraq, none of this would be happening,” said Clinton, adding that the Obama administration is “cleaning up the mess that he [Cheney] made.” Conservative TV station Fox News gave Cheney the chance to rebut Clinton. He said: “The former president also believed that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction.”

WHY DOES CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION GET WORSE IN EVERY COUNTRY THE U.S. “LIBERATES”?

When the U.S. military “liberates” a nation, shouldn’t it result in more liberty, freedom and peace for the people living there?

When the U.S. military “liberates” a nation, shouldn’t it result in more liberty, freedom and peace for the people living there?  Instead, we find just the opposite.  In fact, in every single case since 9/11, when the U.S. military has “liberated” a nation it has resulted in the persecution of Christians in that country becoming much worse.
In areas where we spent hundreds of billions of dollars and where thousands of precious American lives were sacrificed, churches are regularly being bombed, Christians are being brutally beheaded, and laws have been passed to make it illegal for a Muslim to convert to Christianity.  If we were not even able to provide the most basic of liberties and freedoms to the people living in those nations, what in the world did we actually accomplish by “liberating” them?
Just look at what has happened in Afghanistan.  We have been at war in Afghanistan for more than a dozen years, and yet things are so bad for Christians in that country at this point that there is not a single church left…
The supposedly “moderate” Karzai government installed by the U.S. upholds many of the draconian laws enforced by the Taliban—including the apostasy law, fiercely persecuting those who seek to convert to Christianity—and, in 2011, under U.S. auspices, it destroyed Afghanistan’s last Christian church.
We find a similar story in Iraq.  It is estimated that before the invasion, there were up to 2 million Christians living in Iraq.  Now that number is down to less than 450,000, and it is falling fast.
In fact, things are so dire for Iraq’s Christian community that some Iraqi Christian leaders are warning that Christians may soon become “extinct” in that nation…
As the mass exodus of Iraq’s Christians continues, so does the call for ending the plight of those who have remained. Like Iraq’s ancient Jewish community before them, one of the world’s oldest Christian communities may soon cease to exist.
The disappearance of Iraq’s religious minorities has been a troubling trend since the US-led invasion in 2003, and it has threatened to end the cultural diversity of Iraq. As the violence in the country spikes and religious intolerance grows, many Christians, Yazidis, Mandaeans and other minority community members are leaving the country.
Last week, the head of the Iraqi Catholic Church sent a chilling warning that Iraq’s 2,000-year-old Christian community is on the brink of extinction as new waves of Christians take the journey of exodus.
It is estimated that the Iraq war cost U.S. taxpayers more than 2 trillion dollars.
We spent more than a million dollars on one soccer field alone (which has now turned to dust).
In the end, what did we actually accomplish?
The Obama administration likes to brag about how it got rid of Qaddafi and “liberated” Libya, but now al-Qaeda is in control of much of the country and things are much worse for Christians than ever before…
Ever since U.S.-backed, al-Qaeda-linked terrorists overthrew Qaddafi, Christians—including Americans—have indeed suffered extreme persecution. Churches have been bombed; Christians have been tortured and killed (including for refusing to convert); and nuns have been threatened.
In Syria, the Obama administration is shamelessly allying with radical al-Qaeda jihadists in a desperate attempt to overthrow the Assad regime.
As these jihadists torture, behead and even crucify Christian believers, the mainstream media in the United States is virtually silent about it.
Why is the media being so quiet?
Well, because exposing what is going on would make the Obama administration look bad.
Those carrying out this persecution of Christians in Syria are being directly funded and aided by the governments of the United States and Saudi Arabia.  For much more on what is going on in Syria, please see my previous article entitled “Why Is The Media Silent About The Crucifixion Of Christians By Radical Jihadists?”
And of course it is not just in the Middle East where this kind of persecution of Christians is taking place.
While Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State, the State Department refused to label Boko Haram as a terrorist organization.
But now the whole world is talking about Boko Haram.  This group has attacked more than 700 churches in Nigeria over the past seven years, and this has resulted in a massive exodus of Christians from northern Nigeria to southern Nigeria…
Christian groups estimate that up to a quarter of the 4,000 people killed by Boko Haram since 2009 have been Christians, and more than 700 churches have been attacked in the last seven years alone, according to the Nigerian Catholic Bishop’s Conference. Across the troubled north-east, many Christian neighbourhoods are now ghost towns as tens of thousands of residents flee south. It is one of the biggest Christian exoduses of the century, yet largely unremarked outside of Nigeria.
It is hard to put into words how brutal Boko Haram can be.  As a recent article in the Telegraph described, the persecution of Christians in northern Nigeria by Boko Haram  has been absolutely relentless…
Arriving at St Joseph’s church in the Nigerian town of Gashua, Father John Bakeni knew he was taking on a tough posting. A flyblows settlement near the northern border with Niger, his new parish was smack in the heart of Boko Haram territory, and in the previous three years, all but a fraction of its 3,000-strong Christian minority had fled.
Sent by his bishop to show that the diocese had not deserted the town, he spent much of the following year trying to reassure the 200 remaining parishioners. But nearly every time he ventured from his rectory, a reminder would await him of the difficulty of his mission.
“Several times a week I would find a dead animal had been thrown in the compound, usually a chicken, goat or sheep, but sometimes dead cats too,” said Fr Bakeni, 38. “Stones would get thrown at the church almost every day, and sometimes also people would bang the gates and shout: ‘Infidel, we are going to kill you.’
So why has the Obama administration been so hesitant to speak out against Boko Haram until now?
In fact, although most Americans do not realize this, the Obama administration has been quite supportive of Boko Haram in the past.  Obama even actually threatened the Nigerian government with economic sanctions in 2013 in an attempt to keep them from cracking down on Boko Haram.
What in the world was the Obama administration thinking?
Whose side are they on anyway?
If you love liberty and freedom, you should be deeply troubled by the spread of groups such as Boko Haram.
Just look at what is happening in another part of Africa where jihadists have gained control.  In Sudan, a pregnant woman was recently sentenced to death by hanging for marrying a Christian man…
A Sudanese woman doctor who married a Christian man and who was convicted earlier this week on charges of “apostasy” was sentenced to death on Thursday, judicial officials said.
According to the Sudanese officials, 26-year-old Meriam Ibrahim, whose father was Muslim, was convicted on Sunday and given four days to repent and escape death. She was sentenced after that grace period expired, the officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity in line with regulations.
The BBC reported the woman’s death by hanging will not be carried out until two years after the birth of her child.
This kind of tyranny should not be tolerated in today’s world.
But instead, the U.S. government seems to be helping to spread it.
So exactly why is this happening?  Please feel free to share what you think by posting a comment below…

HRW: ISIL Staged Mass Executions in Iraq’s Tikrit

A-Manar

Photograph and satellite imagery indicate that Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) insurgents have carried out mass executions in the northern Iraqi city of Tikrit, Human Rights Watch reported on Friday.

ISILNew York-based Human Rights Watch said that between 160 and 190 men were killed in at least two locations in and around Tikrit - the hometown of late Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein - between June 11 and 14.

It said that the death toll could be much higher but the difficulty of locating bodies and getting to the area had prevented a full investigation.

Pictures posted on HRW's website showed a row of men lined up face-down in trenches being shot by gunmen.

"The photos and satellite images from Tikrit provide strong evidence of a horrible war crime that needs further investigation," Human Rights Watch emergencies director Peter Bouckaert said in a statement.

"They and other abusive forces should know that the eyes of Iraqis and the world are watching."

Iraqi party leaders may oust Maliki

Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki waits for the arrival of US Secretary of State John Kerry ahead of their meeting at the Prime Minister's Office in Baghdad on June 23, 2014. (Photo: AFP - Brendan Smialowski)
Published Saturday, June 28, 2014
Iraqi party leaders planned delicate talks that could end Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki's divisive rule after a top Shia cleric called for a new premier to be chosen without delay to tackle Islamist rebels threatening to tear apart the country.
Major powers are pushing for a new inclusive government, rather than one pursuing Shia sectarian domination, to be formed fast to counter the insurrection that has spilled across the border with Syria and could menace the wider Middle East.
In a striking political intervention on Friday that could signal the demise of Maliki's eight-year tenure, influential Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani urged political blocs to agree on the next premier, parliament speaker and president before a newly elected legislature meets in Baghdad on Tuesday.
"The next 72 hours are very important to come up with an agreement..., to push the political process forward," said a lawmaker and ex-government official from the National Alliance, which groups all Shia Muslim parties.
The lawmaker, who asked for anonymity due to political sensitivities, said he expected internal meetings of the various parties and a broader session of the National Alliance including Maliki's State of Law list to be held through the weekend. Some Sunni Muslim parties were to convene later on Saturday.
Sistani's entry into the fray will make it hard for Maliki to stay on as caretaker leader as he has since a parliamentary election in April. That means he must either build a coalition to confirm himself in power for a third term or step aside.
Sistani's message was delivered after a meeting of Shia factions including the State of Law coalition failed to agree on a consensus candidate for prime minister.
The embattled Maliki accused his political foes of trying to prevent parliament from meeting on time and whipping up violence to interfere with the political process.
"They worked to postpone the elections... and now they are working to postpone the first session of the council of representatives... but if they are not able to pressure us to postpone, they will go for inciting security incidents in Baghdad," he said during a televised meeting with commanders.
Under Iraq's governing system put in place after Saddam Hussein's overthrow, the prime minister has always been a Shia, the largely ceremonial president a Kurd and the speaker of parliament a Sunni. Negotiations over the positions have often been drawn out: after the last election in 2010 it took nearly 10 months for Maliki to build a coalition to stay in office.
Divvying up the three posts in the four days before parliament meets, as sought by Sistani, would require leaders from each of Iraq's three main ethnic and sectarian groups to commit to the political process and swiftly resolve their most pressing political problems, above all the fate of Maliki.
Allies of Maliki said Sistani's call for a quick decision was not aimed at sidelining the premier but at putting pressure on all political parties not to drag out the process with typical infighting with Iraq facing disintegration. Even so, they acknowledged Sistani was not happy with Maliki's policies.
"It is other groups telling Sistani they cannot accommodate Maliki for a third term. Sistani doesn't want to get involved in who is the next prime minister, but there has to be progress," said one official from Maliki's State of Law list.
The roadmap is far from smooth. Kurds have yet to agree on a candidate for president and the Sunnis, long riven by intense rivalries and shaken by the loss of their cities to militants, are divided among themselves over the speaker's post.
Maliki, whose State of Law coalition won the most seats in the April election, was positioning himself for a third term before the ISIS offensive began. His closest allies say he still aims to stay, but senior State of Law figures have said he could be replaced with a less polarizing figure.
"It's a card game and State of Law plays a poker game very well," said the official from the premier's alliance. "For the prime minister, it will go down to the wire."
Sunnis accuse Maliki of excluding them from power and repressing their community, driving armed tribal groups to back the insurgency led by ISIS. The president of Iraq's autonomous Kurdistan region has also said Maliki should go.

Zionist Entity May Intervene if ISIL Advances to Jordan: Report

Local Editor

ISIL armed terroristThe Zionist entity has said that it would be willing to take military action in neighboring Jordan to protect it from attacks by the so-called 'Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant terrorist group, dubbed as ISIL, which has been sweeping across northern parts of Iraq and Syria in a violent bid to create its unilaterally-declared own state.

A US Senator told the Daily Beast “Jordan could not repel a full assault from ISIL on its own at this point,” adding that Jordan "will ask Israel and the United States for as much help as they can get.”

"But behind the scenes, Israeli diplomats have told their American counterparts that Israel would be prepared to take military action to save the Hashemite Kingdom," the website reported.

Thomas Sanderson, the co-director for transnational threats at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, said the Zionist entity and the United States view the survival of the Jordanian monarchy as a paramount national security objective.

“I think Israel and the United States would identify a substantial threat to Jordan as a threat to themselves and would offer all appropriate assets to the Jordanians.” he was quoted as saying.

Sanderson, who is a former contractor for the Defense Intelligence Agency, said those assets would include air power and intelligence resources.

However, he dismissed the likelihood of such action under current circumstances.

“It’s impossible to rule out boots on the ground from Israel or the United States, but that is the least likely scenario. Amman would have to be under siege for that to happen.”

Dana Daoud, a spokeswoman for the Jordanian embassy in Washington, reassured “We are in full control of our borders and our Jordanian Armed Forces are being very vigilant.”

“We have taken all the precautionary measures. So far, we have not detected any abnormal movement. However, if anything threatens our security or gets near our borders it will face the full strength of our Jordanian Armed Forces,” she added.

In the last year, the U.S. military has also positioned batteries of Patriot missiles and a fleet of F-16s inside Jordan along with a contingency of U.S. soldiers known as Centcom-Forward Jordan. The group is led by Brig. General Dennis McKean, one of whose missions is to help plan for Jordan’s defense in the midst of the chaos that has enflamed the region.

“Jordan is a very close partner to the United States, and we have shared their concerns about violence spilling across the border for some time,” said Commander Bill Speaks, a spokesman for the Office of the Secretary of Defense.

“We are committed to supporting Jordan’s security and continually assess the situation and how best to support our friends in the region,” he noted.
