Is Israel Plotting to Retake Sinai?

Egyptian Ambassador to the Palestinian Authority, Yasser Othman believes Israel is plotting to retake control of the Sinai peninsula, he said in an interview with Palestinian news agency Ma'an published on Friday.
Officials in Jerusalem rejected remarks made by Othman,
"Israel respects the government and the Egyptian people. Adhering to the peace treaty with Egypt, which stipulates that Sinai is under Egyptian sovereignty, is in the strategic interest of both countries," the officials said in a statement. (Ronen Medzini)
I belive, Israel would think one million time before commiting such dreadfull mistake.

On Jan. 3, 2009, Haitham Sabbah assumed that the Egyptian government was replaced with new democratically elected one "what do you think would happen?" he asked. "Believe me, it is very simple. The tag Is ready: Eygpt for is a terrorist state. Full Stop!" he anwered.

On that I commented:
"Is Haithem Frightened of another Surprise in Egypt?? I Guess, Yes, because he knows that Moslem Brothers would win in a Free Election."

"Who can guarantee that the newly elected government and its president will not be the same as the previous regime?" he asked again.

I don't blame Haitham, because those WHEELCHAIR critics! who don't believe in their own people, don't believe that blood may defeat the sword, and expect the international soliderity movement would Liberate Palestine and those calling the "UN to release our people form being held hostage by Israel PLO, Hamas, Fatah, Islamic Jihad, etc.. " were not able to imagine what took place in Egypt following a popular uprising that began on Tuesday, 25 January 2011 and is still continuing. The great Egyptions did it because, they were sure that the so-called newly elected government and its president will be either Mubarak, or his SON, or his security chief.

Moreover, Hiatham expected Istael to "rush to occupy Gazan borders again (let's say they will intensify their occupation and bring back their soldiers to Gaza/Egypt borders).....The Zionists will find it the moment of history when they can establish their dream of Greater Israel. They might not only occupy Sinai, but invade Egypt across the Red Sea until Israel reaches the Nile....What may happen next is another story.... If the existing regime in Egypt or a newly elected one opens the borders with Gaza in the present conditions of Palestine, without any international guarantees that Palestine is going to be autonomous in controlling its own borders for the good of the people in Palestine and not to serve factions whose agendas are not acceptable to any patriot."

On that I commented:
"As if Sinai is not occupied.
Let us assume that Haitham's nightmare come true, and Israel dared to invade Egypt across the Red Sea. So what??Why Israel stoped at the Canal in 1967, and Why Sharon stopped at Km 101.

A stupid would think Israel would dare to open the gates to hell. It would a Historical moment, a historical opportunity for Resistance (Iran, Syria, Hezbollah and Hams to raze that Zionist Entity. I wonder if the Grand Patriot heard Nasrallah Saying that An Israeli Inavasion would turn into a Great opportunity.
Haitham is talking about Greater Israel, while the Zionist Dream is Shrinking into a Jewish Ghetto surrounded by Walls."
Egypt is in a transitional period, the national army is aware, and was always aware that israel is the real enemy, that Sinia is not liberated, so while Israelis "are attempting to give the impression to the outside world that Egypt's post-revolutionary government is incapable of controlling its border with Israel." The Egyrion army is trying "to improve security in the region, particularly in the northern Sinai on the border with Gaza."
According, to Anis Naqash, "improving the security" in Sinai, in other words moving the army to Sinai has more statigic value than closing the Israeli Embassy in Cairo.
Finaly I repeat what I said before three years:
A stupid would think Israel would dare to open the gates to hell. It would a Historical moment, a historical opportunity for Resistance (Iran, Syria, Hezbollah and Hams to raze that Zionist Entity. I wonder if the Grand Patriot heard Nasrallah Saying that An Israeli Inavasion would turn into a Great opportunity.

Egyptian Envoy to PA: Israel Plotting to Retake Sinai
A view Egypt's Sinai peninsulaEgyptian Ambassador to the Palestinian Authority, Yasser Othman believes Israel is plotting to retake control of the Sinai peninsula, he said in an interview with Palestinian news agency Ma'an published on Friday.
Othman stated that Israel has increased its rhetoric about lawlessness in Sinai and the subsequent “terror threat” to Israel, setting up a pretext to take control of the area.

The Egyptian official said that Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, are attempting to give the impression to the outside world that Egypt's post-revolutionary government is incapable of controlling its border with Israel.

Othman defended Egypt against claims that Sinai was not sufficiently under the control of the government. He stated that there was a campaign underway to improve security in the region, particularly in the northern Sinai on the border with Gaza. He added that the vast size of Sinai and its difficult terrain should be taken into consideration when judging the efficacy of Egypt's control of the area.

The envoy pointed out that the upheaval in the region, particularly in Libya, has affected Sinai as well. The flow of weapons into Sinai from Libya is largely believed to have increased since the uprising against Muammar Gaddafi began.

The pipeline in Sinai that carries gas to Israel and Jordan has been attacked by assailants six times since the fall of former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak in February. The last such attack occurred on Tuesday.

Following Israeli retaliatory strikes for the attack on Gaza targets, Othman said that Israeli operations in Gaza were complicating Cairo’s efforts to stabilize Sinai.

The Egyptian armed forces launched a security operation in Sinai in August to root out hundreds of suspected militants believed to be behind some of the attacks on the pipeline and police compounds in the peninsula.
