Not that this should come as a shock to you all, but watch this piece from dmn about mercenary companies in iraq. blackwater will still be around (both in iraq and afghanistan), and investigative reporter jeremy schaill found that a company called triple canopy (based out of good ol chi-town) has signed a deal with the US administration to take over security for diplomats and 'citizens' in iraq and israel:
