QALQILIA, (PIC)-- American-backed Palestinian Authority (PA) forces in the northern West Bank on Sunday murdered two prominent Islamic resistance fighters affiliated with Hamas’s military wing, the Qassam Brigades.

Local sources in the north-western city of Qalqilia intimated that Muhammed al-Samman, Hamas’s resistance chief in the northern West Bank, and his assistant, Muhammed Yasin, were killed during a fierce clash with forces loyal to PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas.

Eyewitnesses said hundreds of PA troops besieged a house in which the two Qassam fighters were hiding shortly before midnight Saturday.

The PA troops, trained by the American Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) under the command of Gen. Keith Dayton, in coordination with Israel, ordered the two fighters to surrender.

The two, fearing torture and worried that the PA would hand them over to the Israeli occupation authority, insisted that they should be allowed to withdraw from the area.

The PA troops refused and a six-hour confrontation ensued, which ended up Sunday morning with the martyrdom of the two Islamic fighters, the house owner, Abdul Halim al Pasha, and three PA soldiers.

Abbas’s forces reportedly carried out a campaign of repression and reprisals in the area, arresting al Samman’s four brothers.

Samman is considered one of Hamas’s most senior resistance fighters in the northern West Bank. He had been wanted to Israel for many years and several assassination attempts on his life had been carried out by the Israeli occupation army.

Israeli military officials reportedly congratulated the PA leadership for killing the “terrorists.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu said last week Israel was interested in “Strengthening the Palestinian security apparatus.”

He told the Israeli cabinet that “strengthening PA security agencies was a top Israeli interest.”

The killing of Samman and Yasin comes less than three days after the Israeli occupation army murdered Abdul Majid Dudeen, a senior resistance leader in the Hebron region in the southern West Bank.

Two Qassam members killed at the hands of Abbas security forces

QALQILIA, (PIC)-- Two members of the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas Movement, were shot dead at an early hour on Sunday at the hands of PA security forces loyal to former PA chief Mahmoud Abbas.

Hamas sources said that more than 200 PA security men were encircling a group of the Qassam Brigades since Saturday night in one of Qaqlilia neighborhoods asking them to give themselves up.

When the group members refused, the security forces started firing at them igniting fierce clashes that ended with killing the two Qassam fighters Mohammed al-Samman and Mohammed Yassin.

The PA security men arrested four of Samman's brothers and one of Yassin's brothers in a bid to pressure them into surrendering but they refused.

Samman is the commander of the Qassam Brigades in northern West Bank and Yassin is his aide.

Abdul Halim Al-Basha, the owner of the house where the two fighters were entrenched, was also killed in the clash and his wife was moderately wounded while the PA security said that three of its members were killed in the incident.

Samman and Yassin were wanted by the Israeli occupation forces for the past six years and had survived numerous assassination and detention attempts.

The Qassam Brigades held the PA security in the West Bank responsible for the lives of those besieged fighters.

Abu Obaida, the Qassam spokesman in Gaza, said that the PA security had been chasing those fighters for the past three days, charging that special IOF forces had taken part in the clash.

He said that the Qassam members would defend themselves and would not differentiate between PA security and IOF soldiers because the PA security was working as one of the IOF brigades.

Islamic Jihad: Assassination of Qassam commanders treachery
[ 31/05/2009 - 10:26 AM ]

RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- The Islamic Jihad Movement on Sunday condemned the PA security forces' assassination of two commanders of the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas Movement, in Qalqilia in the West Bank.

Abul Qassam, one of the Jihad commanders in northern West Bank said that the assassination was as an assertion of the treachery of the "defeatist project" led by the Ramallah authority and an attempt to liquidate resistance.

He said that the people would not be satisfied until the culprits responsible for such crimes were put to trial.

In an earlier statement at dawn Sunday, Abul Qassam charged that the assassination of Qassam leaders Mohammed Al-Samman and Mohammed Yassin fell in line with the war being launched by Israel and the Ramallah authority against resistance.

He charged that the act proved that the Ramallah authority was not concerned with the success of inter-Palestinian dialog to end the state of discord.

For its part, the Salahuddin Brigades, the armed wing of the popular resistance committees, called on the people in the West Bank to revolt against the Ramallah authority.

The armed wing's spokesman Abu Yousef said in a statement on Sunday that all resistance fighters should fight the Ramallah security apparatuses similar to the "Zionist enemy".

He urged the "honorable" people in Fatah faction to unite with resistance and to shirk all agents who speak in its name and the collaborating apparatuses that were carrying out the "enemy's schemes".

Senior Hamas Operative Martyred in Al-Khalil; Hamas Vows Revenge

PREYING TIME AT PP:

"The time has arrived for Hamas in particular, and the Palestinians in general, to seriously deal with Abbas and his Dayton surrogate "army" in exactly the same way Hizbullah dealt with Antoine Lahd and his "South Lebanese army", under the the command of the IOF. Abbas and his Dayton forces is even more dangerous and detrimental to the cause than the IOF, for he gives the IOF cover and his thugs live among the Palestinians, unlike the IOF, and hence are more effective in tracking down and destroying the resistance. "

COMMENT:This Asshole thinks his readers are without memory, and forget how Hamas dealt with Dayton "army" in Gaza. Take it from the Donkey's mouth:

These are the Dayton-Trained "Troops" After They Were Routed by Hamas in Gaza, and Rescued by Israel!

Take a Ride
"Hasn't the time arrived for Hamas to put an end to this sick joke called the PA (which Hamas is part of)? Hasn't the time arrived to consider the PA the enemy instead? Hasn't the time arrived to learn from Hizbullah what liberation and resistance are all about?

But if Hamas took these steps, Hamas would not be Hamas anymore, would it?

Let us not kid ourselves Hamas is not a revolutionary movement, which is what the Palestinians must produce, and Mish'al is not, by a long shot, Nasrallah. "
