JORDAN VALLEY, (PIC)-- Dozens of IOF troops supported by armored military vehicles and bulldozers stormed Thursday the Palestinian village of Samra in the northern part of the valley and demolished homes belonging to Palestinian shepherds in it.
Palestinian human rights organizations condemned the IOF practices in the village and described it as part of the Israeli occupation government attempts to empty the Valley of Palestinians.
Two weeks ago, the Israeli "committee of construction and organization" stormed the village and handed over demolition notices to the Palestinian shepherds alleging that the village belongs to areas classified by the Oslo agreement as area "C", which is fall under Israeli control.
The shepherds, however, produced authentic documents proving they own the land even before the Israeli occupation of the West Bank in 1967; yet, no one listened to them. Residents of Samra confirmed that their village was surrounded by three IOF military camps posing big danger to their lives.

TUBAS, (PIC)-- The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have embarked since the early morning hours of today on widespread demolitions in Aqaba village in Tubas city, north of the West Bank.
Head of the village council Sami Sadeq said a large number of Israeli troops and military bulldozers stormed the village and closed its entrances before starting to destroy homes, barns, roads and everything on their way.

Sadeq appealed to foreign activists who visited the village lately to swiftly intervene to prevent Israel form continuing its demolitions that are aimed to erase the entire village from the map.

He noted that the Israeli occupation authority notified 95 percent of the village natives of its intention to tear down their real estate at the pretext their village was established in the area classified as C which is under its control.

Aqaba village is located on the eastern slopes overlooking the Jordan Valley region. Israel refuses to recognize any Palestinian villages there and its army uses the area to carry out military maneuvers and drills.

In another incident, the IOF on Wednesday morning confiscated tractors owned by Palestinians in an area near Mijula settlement in the Jordan Valley region.

Local sources from the region said Israeli troops set up barriers at intersections of agricultural roads and ambushed tractors before seizing them at the pretext their owners had no IDs.

According to the sources, the troops confiscated more than 10 tractors and took them to Mijula settlement.
