Did Mossad pay visit to Belgium?

Rehmat's World
Today, according to BBC, a gunman opened fire in the centre of Belgium city of Liege, killing three people and injuring another 75. The man also threw grenades in crowded square from a rooftop before killing himself. The gunman is named Nordine Amrani who was known to police for firearms offences. Police has claimed it to be an act of a lone man and not an act of terrorism. The religious or ethnic affiliation of the gunman is not mentioned in Belgium media.

Last year, a bomb terrorist attack in two apartment buildings in Liege had wounded 20 people.
However, America’s top Muslim-hater, Robert Spencer’s Jihad Watch has claimed Nordine Amrani to be a Muslim. How? Well, the genius came up with an interesting theory; “Nordine = Nur deen, a Muslim name – and Amrani=Imran, the father of prophet Moses in Holy Qur’an“. In fact, Holy Qur’an also mentions , Imran as the great-great-grandfather of Jesus’ mother Saint Mary.

Norwegian mass killer Anders Behring Breivik has claimed that Robert Spencer’s anti-Muslim writings had inspired him.

Beyond and timely pro-Israel conspiracy theory – the recent events show that it’s Israel who mostly will like to see Belgium citizen live under fear for their government’s anti-Israel policies.
In November 2001, Israel blasted Belgium TV for airing a BBC documentary about Ariel sharon’s role in Palestinian massacre at Sabra and Shatila Palestinian refugee camps in Beirut in 1980s (BBC, November 16, 2001).

In 2003, Belgium Sureme Court upset Israel for paving the way for the prosecution of Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon for war crimes. Israel threatend political action against Belgium while recalling its Ambassador from Brussels (BBC, February 13, 2003).

In April 2011 – Belgium angered Israel by supporting an EU statement calling Israel to show restrain against rocket attacks from Gaza without naming Hamas for the rocket attacks.

In May 2011 – Shimon Samuels, director Simon Wiesenthal Center and European Jewish Congress (EJC) President Dr. Moshe Kantor had demanded that Belgium prime minister Yves Leterme should fire his justice minister Stefaan De Clerck for his ministry’s accepting a 70-page indictment against Israeli leaders (Ehud Olmert, Ehud Barak and Tzipi Livni, etc.) for committing war crimes during Operation Cast Lead in Gaza in 2009. Livni had refrained from traveling to Belgium in 2009 during her stint as foreign minister for fear of being arrested in that country.

Early this month, Rabbi Marvin Hier of the Simon Wiesenthal Center had demanded that Hillary Clinton fire her Jewish ambassador to Belgium,Howard Gutman, for blaming Israel for fuelling anti-Semitism in Europe and the Muslim world.

Belgian city rocked by grenade attack

At least four people dead and scores injured after man opens fire and lobs grenade at bus stop in city of LiegeA man has opened fire with an assault rifle and thrown grenades in the Belgian city of Liege, staging an attack in which four people died including the gunman himself, officials said.

Those killed in Tuesday's attack included a 15-year-old, a 17-year-old and a 75-year-old woman. Officials said that at least 75 others were also wounded in the attack, which occurred 90km east of Brussels.

Judicial sources named the lone attacker as Nordine Amrani, who was known to police.

The sources said police had recently raided his Liege home seeking cannabis plants, but had found arms instead. In 2008 he was sentenced to almost five years in prison for illegal possession of arms and growing cannabis.

Despite Amrani's criminal history, Belgium's federal crisis centre said the attack was neither a terrorist incident nor linked to a pending criminal trial.
"We saw people with bullet wounds in their shoulders, their hands. I see people completely scared, people are crying, everyone is on their phones."
- Gaspard Grosjean, witness
Amrani launched the attack near a bus stop at Place Saint Lambert, a central shopping square which is the site of Liege's Christmas market and its main courthouse.

While it was not clear how he had died, local media reports indicated that he may have committed suicide.

'Completely scared'

Gaspard Grosjean, a journalist for local Liege newspaper La Meuse, ran over to the square just after attack.

"We saw people with bullet wounds in their shoulders, their hands," he said, adding that he had seen one dead body.

"I see people completely scared, people are crying, everyone is on their phones."

Police were on the scene quickly and sealed off the square.

"The city centre is completely cordoned off. People are sheltering in shops or in buildings. Police are in position," a town hall employee told the AFP news agency.

"Luckily the mayor had postponed the opening of the Christmas market due to bad weather and high winds. Otherwise many more would have died," the employee added.

A spokesman for Belgium's crisis centre said ambulances had been called in from the Netherlands. To provide immediate assistance, a museum on the square had been converted into a makeshift hospital.
