GAZA, (PIC)-- Dr. Salah Bardawil, a Hamas leader in Gaza, has described as “Hallucination” the Hebrew press report that Hamas supreme leader Khaled Mishaal had lost control on the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas.He said in a statement on Wednesday that the press report published by Ha’aretz newspaper was absolutely “groundless”.
He said that the report was an attempt to drag Hamas into revealing its secrets, and advised the media to beware of such lies.
Ha’aretz claimed that following recent internal elections the responsibility for the budget of the armed wing of Hamas moved to Gaza thus stripping Mishaal of control.
