Santa-Jeff Feltman Delivers his Annual Yuletide Gifts to Lebanon

Santa Claus has come to town, bringing along gifts of strife, sedition, meddling in domestic affairs of middle eastern countries that proved to have formed a resistance front in face of the Zionist entity and the US scheme with the sole aim of protecting "Israel".

As the Lebanese 2013 elections have become the talk of the town, and as Syria continues its struggle in bringing stability and reform while showered with attacks by the so-called free army, US Assistant Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Jeffrey Feltman, arrived in Beirut Tuesday evening heading a delegation to perform his role of foreign intervention on behalf of the US.

Santa did not come alone, he was preceded by his elf, US Senator Joseph Lieberman, who arrived earlier in Beirut to join the delegation, coming from the Saudi Capital, Riyadh.

Lieberman, who chairs the Senate Homeland Security Committee and also sits on the Armed Services Committee visits the region for the second time in three weeks.

Liberman, an ultra-orthodox Jew, well-known for his limitless support to "Israel" has called for direct backing to the Syrian opposition in order to topple the Bashar al-Assad Syrian regime.

Unsurprisingly and blatantly, Joe Lieberman has beaten nearly everybody to the punch on this. On the 5th of February, he said the US should start supporting the Syrian Free Army soon.

On that Sunday, the Senator noted that "The United States should look at providing weapons and other aid to Syrian rebels, especially in light of Russian and Chinese rejection to reconsider their vetoes of a UN resolution against Damascus."

The hawkish senator said a "range of support" could be given to the rebels, from medical supplies to intelligence and reconnaissance surveillance.

"And then ultimately it is providing them with weapons," he said during a panel discussion on the Middle East. The US official also asserted that huge US security interests lie in toppling the Syrian regime. Yet, he could have allowed himself to being more frank and said "Israel's" security.

Lieberman's most treasured priority in his political life is defending "Israel", as demonstrated by his speeches and statements, better say his overall policy.

There are even witnesses to that. Mark Vogel, chairman of the pro-"Israel" National Action Committee, once said, "Joe Lieberman, without exception, no conditions ... is the No. 1 pro-"Israel" advocate and leader in Congress. There is nobody who does more on behalf of "Israel" than Joe Lieberman."

Also, in December 2011, Lieberman in an interview with Fox News said "I will say first that Israel has been fortunate that presidents and members of Congress of both parties, by and large have been very strong supporters of the security of the state of "Israel" because of our alliance and our shared values in democracy and all the rest."

Before arriving to Lebanon on Tuesday, Lieberman discussed the Syrian crisis with Saudi King Abdullah and other senior officials during a visit to the Kingdom.

He met with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal, Defense Minister Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz -- who recently held talks at the Pentagon with Defense Secretary Leon Panetta to discuss the Syrian crisis -- and General Intelligence chief Prince Muqrin bin Abdul Aziz.

"The senator is traveling in the Middle East this week, focused on the continuing crisis in Syria and other issues related to US national security in the region," Lieberman aide Whitney Phillips told AFP.
The Senator during his stay in KSA also advocated further US intervention in Syria, including the arming of Syrian opposition groups against the regime of President Bashar al-Assad.

On Sunday Lieberman was in Qatar for the same purpose too.

Feltman needs no witnesses on his loyalty to the "Israeli"-US project that targets the resistance axis in the region, just like his fellow Lieberman, his record is full of "Long Live "Israel"" stances.

Jeffrey Feltman's first station was the residence of Progressive Socialist Party MP Walid Jumblatt in West Beirut's Clemenceau neighborhood.

On Wednesday, the US delegation, headed by Senator Joseph Lieberman, inspected the Lebanon-Syria border claiming it an effort to facilitate the entry of a U.N. monitoring team into Homs, Syria.

Lieberman and the accompanying delegation were flown to the north Akkar town of Andaqit by helicopter early in the day.
