Israeli army threatens Palestinian man who recorded the killing of the 2 teens in Nakba Day
The Israeli Occupation Forces threatened a Palestinian citizen yesterday in Beitunia, east of Ramallah.
Fakher Zayed, 47 years old, said that a group of Israeli Occupation Forces raided his home yesterday and took him to the Ofer interrogation center, in Beitunia. Here the Israeli interrogator accused him of causing problems for the Israeli army by publishing the content of his security cameras and showing how the Israeli army killed the two Palestinian children during protests last 15th of May, Nakba Day.
A few hours later, the Israeli Occupation Forces released him and warned him that if he told the media agencies or the human rights institutions about the killings and did not remove his security cameras, because they are illegal, they will cause considerable trouble for him and his family.
He added that the interrogator told him that the State of Israel is strong and does not care about the rest of the world and what they think of the video.
Zayed called on the international institutions to protect him and his family.
Defense for Children International – Palestine Section, published a video recorded with Zayed's security cameras that showed how the Israeli army killed the two Palestinian teenagers near Ofer Prison last month. This video became viral and it brought widespread criticism for the Israeli army.
