600 gunmen turn themselves in to authorities in Daraa… Hassoun calls on the youth to dismiss violence

Daraa, SANA – 600 gunmen turned themselves in and handed over their weapons to authorities in Izraa city in Daraa on Wednesday.
The gunmen had their files settled after they pledge not to carry out any acts that affect Syria’s security and stability.
Grand Mufti of the republic Ahmad Bader-Eddin Hasoun, who attended the meeting, called on the youth to dismiss violence and preserve the country’s dignity and sovereignty.

He asked the citizens who returned to the country’s lap to advise the others who still carry weapons against their country and convince them to fight alongside the Syrian army against terrorism to which the country is exposed.
For his part, Daraa governor Mohammad Khalid al-Hanous stressed that dialogue and national reconciliations are a future plain for new Syria, calling on all youth who were misled to throw the weapons away and return to the country’s lap.
Representative of the National Reconciliation Committee Mazen Hmaidi pointed out that national duty requires everyone to work hard for correcting wrong concepts and help the youth return to the right track, hailing the role of the Syrian army in defeating terrorism to which the country is exposed.
