Military operations against terrorist organizations continued intensively on Thursday across Syria, targeting their vehicle convoys and dens, inflicting major losses upon their ranks.
Deir Ezzor
Army units continued operations against terrorists of the so-called 'Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant' (ISIL) in al-Hweiqa, al-Rushdiyeh, al-Jbeileh, al-Rasafeh, al-Orfi and al-Sina’a in Deir Ezzor province.
A military source told SANA reporter that the army destroyed a convoy of cars belonging to ISIL and killed many of terrorists near al-Mrei’iyeh roundabout, in addition to destroying a bulldozer near to al-Jafra water plant in the city.
Large numbers of ISIL terrorists were killed and their dens were destroyed in the area surrounding Deir Ezzor Airport, al-Mrei’iyeh and al-Jafra.
Damascus Countryside
Units of the army inflicted heavy losses upon armed terrorist organizations in the farms and villages of al-Ghouta, al-Qalamoun and Khan al-Sheih in Damascus countryside.
SANA field reporter said the army directed painful strikes against dens of terrorists in many regions of Joubar in Damascus countryside.
In Douma, many terrorists of the so-called “the nation army” were killed and wounded in concentrated strikes by the army against their gatherings in al-Baladiya, al-Corniche and the cultural center inside Douma.
Units of the Army and Armed Forces also killed and injured a number of terrorists in the surrounding of al-Zuhour Street in Khan al-Sheeh in Damascus Countryside. Terrorists Saeed Diab and Ammar al-Shishani were identified among the dead.
A military source told SANA that the army killed many terrorists and injured several others in al-Qalamoun Mountains in Damascus countryside
Lattakia
Army units killed terrorists, most of them non-Syrian, in the villages of al-Khadra, al-Soda, Qall’et Boujaq, al-Durra, Jabal Zahiyeh, al-Frunloq reserve and al-Qantara in the northern countryside of Lattakia.
Seven of the terrorists’ vehicles; one of them was equipped with communication devices, two were laden with ammunition and the other four vehicles were equipped with heavy machine guns and a mortar launch pad, were destroyed during the operations.
Terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages the killing of tens of their members, including Abdul-Rahman al-Samadi and Mahmoud Tallawi, who are both leaders within the so-called “Ahrar al-Sham”
.
Terrorist Ahmad Ali al-Abdalla, a leader in the so-called “Ansar al-Sham “ was also identified among the killed terrorists, in addition to Mahran al-Sous, Hisham Abu Zaid, Suhaib al-Azawi and Muaffaq Ishmawi, according to the pages.
Meanwhile, a military source told SANA that the army killed scores of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in al-Kabeer and Beit Shrouk in Lattakia countryside.
In al-Haffeh area, large numbers of terrorists were killed as the army targeted their dens and gatherings in several towns and villages in the countryside of Lattakia province.
The military operations resulted in the destruction of terrorists’ weapons and ammunition caches in Kensaba area, Marzeh and Tertyah villages, and in Droushan in Jabal al-Turkman.
Homs
The army killed terrorists who were attempting to infiltrate from al-Kharab Street towards the farms surrounding al -Waer neighborhood in Homs city.
Other army units killed and injured many terrorists and destroyed a number of their vehicles in Mas’ada, Um al-Reesh, Rajm al-Qasr, Rahhoum, Onq al-Hawa, Jebb al-Jarrah and al-Saan in the countryside of the central province of Homs.
In al-Rastan area, 24 km north of Homs downtown, which has been one of Al-Nusra’s important strongholds in the province, many terrorists were killed on al-Ghajar-Kiseen road, while a number of their vehicles got destroyed.
later, a military source told SANA that the army killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in Taldou, al-Rastan, Talbeisa and Kfar Laha in Homs countryside.
In the same context, many terrorists were killed in the towns and villages of al-Farhaniyeh, Deir Foul, the area surrounding al-Shaer oil wells, Jazal, al-Teibeh, al-Sukhneh, Mahaseh and Um Sahriej.
The army also killed many terrorists and destroyed their dens and ammunition caches in the villages of Housh Shamso, al-Msheirfeh, and the eastern and western Habra in al-Makhram area in the countryside of the province.
Idlib
Units of the Army and Armed Forces killed many terrorists, injured others and destroyed some of their vehicles and a weapons and ammo cache in Kafr Lata and Ma’saran in the countryside of the northern province of Idlib.
Terrorists Hassan Omar al-Assaf and Gharib al-Hendawi were identified among the dead.
Army units also targeted a number of gatherings of dens of terrorist organizations in Taftanaz, Fayloun, al-Tibat, Kamb al-Alman, Tal Salmo, al-Bya’at, Qara’ al-Ghazal and Harsh Ishtabraq in Idleb countryside, leaving many terrorists dead and others wounded.
Meanwhile, a military source told SANA that the army killed takfiri terrorists and injured many others in al-Shaghre and Jabal al-Akrad in Idleb countryside.
The source added that the army also killed many terrorists and destroyed their criminal equipment in Sinjar, Sarakeb, Khan Sheikhoun, Ariha, Khan al-Subul and Benish in Idelb countryside.
The army razed gatherings and dens of terrorist organizations and destroyed their vehicles in the area surrounding Eblin village and near to Banin village in Jabal al-Zawiyeh.
Several terrorists, some of them foreigners including an Egyptian, a Libyan and two Tunisians, were killed in the operations.
Meanwhile, terrorist organizations, on their social media pages, acknowledged the heavy losses inflicted upon their ranks and the death of tens of their members, among them terrorist Oussama Adbul-Kareem Manna’ from the so-called “Khattab battalion” who was killed in Ariha area.
Tens of terrorists were also killed and their vehicles and equipment were destroyed in the towns and villages of al-Habeit, Babolin, Rasm Niyas, al-Majas, al-Majzara, Taljineh, Abu Dafneh, the area surrounding Tal Mardikh and Shahnaz in the countryside of the province.
Daraa
Concentrated army operations were launched against gatherings of members of terrorist organizations in al-Sheikh Miskeen, north of the southern province of Daraa, resulting in the killing of many of them. A terrorist nicknamed Abu al-Hareth al-Mahji was identified among the dead.
Dens of terrorists in Inkhel town, northwest of Daraa city, were directly hit by the army, with many of the terrorists getting killed or wounded.
More terrorists were killed in continued military operations in Busr al-Harir and Atman towns, north of Daraa, while others were eliminated in Bosra al-Sham town in eastern Daraa.
In the western parts of Daraa countryside, where Al-Nusra Front and other terrorist organizations have supply routes extending into the Israeli-occupied territories, an army unit destroyed a bulldozer in near Kathif al-Sin in Nawa area, 10 km away from the occupied lands.
In Daraa city, numbers of terrorists were killed and many others were wounded in al-Kark neighborhood, the areas surrounding al-Abbasiyeen Bakery and the old Customs building and east of al-Masri roundabout in Daraa al-Balad.
The killing of terrorists Firas Walid Bakhsh, Odai Mohammad al-Motleq and Osama Khaled al-Zeeb was acknowledged on the terrorist organizations’ social media pages.
Quneitra
Other army units killed scores of terrorists and wounded others in Um Batina, Mas’hara and Mamtana in the countryside of the southern province of Quneitra.
Army units also repelled and killed a number of terrorists who attempted to infiltrate towards the areas of Tal al-Bzak, Tal Kroum Jabba and Tal al-Shaar in the countryside.
More terrorists were killed in operations in al-Ajraf and Rasm al-Khawaled in the countryside.
Later, a military source told SANA that the army smashed dens of terrorists in Nabe’e al-Sakhre and Bteiha in Qunaitera countryside, killing many of them, including leader of a group named ‘Abu Hamza al-Rafeidi.
Sweida
Army units targeted a convoy of terrorists’ vehicles in the area surrounding Tal al-Banat, northeast to Sweida province, destroyed several vehicles and killed all terrorists inside.
A military source told SANA reporter that the army’s operations against terrorists’ gatherings in al-Qasr town in the northern countryside of the province left many of them dead and wounded, in addition to destroying their ammunition and weapons.
Hama
Army units killed scores of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in Abu al-Fashafish, Adleh, Kteisheh, al-Kastal, Skeik, Attshan, Tal Marq, Akask, Um mil and Qasr Bin Wardan in the countryside of Hama province.
Hasaka
Units of the army and armed forces killed tens of terrorists in the countryside of the eastern province of Hasaka.
A military source told SANA that army operations, which killed and injured tens of terrorists, included areas of al-Shadady and Tal Hamis.
Earlier Thursday, army units, in cooperation with popular defense groups, restored security and stability to Abu Qasayeb and Tal Ghazal in the countryside of Qamishli, according to SANA reporter.
The reporter confirmed that tens of terrorists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) who spread in the two areas were killed during the military operations, noting that the remaining terrorists fled away.
Up to 70 ISIS terrorists were killed yesterday in the aforementioned areas, which are located about 45 km south of Qamishli.
